Sometimes it's so difficult to navigate the difference between inspiration and imitation when it comes to consuming social media. Just found you and this has inspired me to try and reduce my screen time! Lots of love from Spain!!
@@offwhiteanxiety6662 Exaaaactly this. Very fine line I have realized between imitation and inspiration. that was beautifully put homie! Glad I made an impact✨
You can fall into these traps even later in life, a few years go by, after a while, people tend to forget their own lessons. Good luck out there lad, remember what you felt today.
brazy how coincidental some of this is, to my own situation & thoughts. your words resonate on a phenomenal level of accuracy. just awesome perspective on things bro
I’m in a similar place. Feels like social media has turned me hyper critical of myself and making me feel like I’m losing my mind, judging everything I do and everything I experience. Thanks for posting this it definitely helps to hear a similar perspective🙏
@@James-ei3jt EXACTLY. When in reality your experience is just as valuable as everyone’s. there was an interesting study that was saying that they have been using social media as a form of conditioning and mind control. Kinda a trojan horse type of scenario LOL
@@ezraoehlhoff I wouldn’t be surprised at all. We’re so ignorant to the effects it has on us, truly. It’s wild. These videos are really powerful though, you’re definitely going places with this. You got a down to earth but also really driven energy that’s really easy to listen to and actually hear. Glad I found this channel 🏄🏻♂️
@@James-ei3jt Seriously appreciate that James! And yeah we live in times where a lot of the lies are coming to the surface so I don’t doubt anything at this point
@@raralancaster9688 Most definitely. That’s something that has been holding a place in my mind for some time now. Understanding everyone’s individual lives are unique in the way they choose to live. Because that’s all it is really
@@ezraoehlhoff exactly. It’s so much harder to live in the world now, we can somehow access other peoples lives just by a screen, so much of it is distorted. Keep focusing on what’s in front of you, that’s the only thing you can control really.
I am also taking many days off from everything and I’ve come to all these same realizations and more - wanted to share one that will change my perspective forever: Self-Care isn’t hot baths, watching a movie or eating a snack, that’s ego care. Self-Care is doing the thing that is hard for you, whatever it may be, because you’re future self will benefit from the hard thing you disciplined yourself to do today. Self-care can look like rest but if that’s the ooonly thing you’re doing - if you just treat yourself like a King or Queen without putting any actual difficult efforts to better yourself internally you’re just feeding into some mentality that you’re special and deserve good things without ever really proving that, right? Anyways thought that was SUPER interesting.
@@AlexisGonzalez-lm6ur this is GOLD. Couldn’t be more true. And that’s the thing with social media it signals to our brain that we are accomplishing these things we see but then leaving us unfulfilled once we leave the screen. Thank you for that value much love✨
I've never agreed with someone as much as I do with this guy.
@@HeritageRevealed much love homie!✨
social media is my drug honestly, i’m going to detox all tomorrow… wish me luck

So so true. Success never feels like it does from movies/ books/ your mind. It feels different. It’s always the climb not the destination.
