I'm slightly amazed Lee still makes this thing. I still have an earlier version from 1985, bought it for around $100. I've done thousands of rounds through it. You should show the carousel with more than one round going through the stages. That's when this thing shines!
Good morning Ervin and thanks so much for looking at my content 👍🙏👍🙏. Glad to see one more Lee enthusiast. This particular short clip I opted for a slow mode to make the process more understandable. As you know, normally it goes much faster. Have a look at the link in the pinned comment for the complete view of the process on some 9mm or alternative, even more details for a .45ACP. I am sure you will like this. the .45ACP is a very detailed process and will benefit you if you have the same press. also lots of other clips on the channel on this press. have a great weekend.
I never used such a fancy contraption but I suspect the safest way in which to use this thing is to visually inspect the primer raising to the hole (or observe how perhaps you can see light through the touch hole initially but then not anymore as the primer is seated), and to also glance to the casing loaded with power to ensure both that there's powder in it AND that it appears to be at the typical level it always is. You should not go on 'auto-pilot' when reloading, you should be doing everything intently and carefully, but in my mind provided you positively confirm there is both a primer and roughly-correct amount of powder in each round... you can get a pretty quick rhythm. Primer seated in that one and there's powder in the other one, place bullet, CRANK. Primer seated and there's powder, place bullet and CRANK. Primer seated and there's powder, place bullet and CRANK. And so on and so on. If you do it for long enough, eventually you should be able to just eyeball a casing to see that "Wait... there's a little less/more powder in there than usual... I'll dump it out into the powder feed, hold the casing as the machine is CRANKED, and do whatever must be done to ensure that it gets back in line and gets powder/bullet like it's supposed to. So it's 'auto-pilot,' in a sense, but if you're still paying attention to EVERY DAMN CASING being primed and fed powder, then you should never be at risk of a squib or an overcharged round. What would be dangerous is if you 100% relied on the mechanisms of the machine and ONLY focused on 'grab bullet, place, CRANK, grab bullet, place, CRANK, etc.' Only paying attention to the ONE manual human operation, and that is placing the bullet. Any experienced reloaders want to share their experiences/advice?
@@normanmccollum6082 More accidents have happened with these high-speed turret presses than the single stage boys. On top of visually inspecting charged cases before bullet seating, I throw a charge into my scale pan and weigh the dispensed powder with a manual beam scale after every 10-15 cases. I use zeroing plus check weights to verify scale calibration before I muck around with my powder measure. When I'm done seating, I grab a few rounds at random and check OAL with calipers, especially if there's no cannelure on the bullets I'm using. 10k+ rounds of various handloaded calibers and not a single squib or catastrophic explosion so far, brb gonna knock on wood.

I easily imagine reloading is more cost effective if you want a lot of ammo sooner, or shoot a lot more than the average person. I've been sitting on a 500rd box of 9mm i bought back in november. I think about 100-150 rounds have been used out of that bin
Hello David. Thanks for your comment and for sharing your thoughts. I doubt it is viable for anyone to reload with such low ammo consumption. Unless one is looking to get better ammo, in a sense that it would be customized according to specific handgun, reloading appears to be unreasonable. Well not unreasonable but commercially not viable. Take care and have a great week. 👍👍👍👍

Good morning dingus. Thanks for looking at the content. Hi Kurt. When I purchased my Pro 1000 it was the cheapest progressive press available on the market, still is up to this day if I am not mistaken. At around $300, it was great value for money. Now if people compare the lee to other presses such as those from hornady, dillon, or forster it is in my opinion wrong because they are on a different price level. It is a great press. it needs few tweaks, some as I have done and documented on my channel. In addition, Lee has now the new 2023 Lee Pro 1000 and they have for sure fixed lots if not all these small issues. Personally, I am extremely happy considering what I originally paid and the amount of rounds I have loaded. You get days that things don't work out but that you get with everything these day. Have a look at my detailed clip on some nice 45ACP or I also have another on 9mm. clips of modifications are also on the channel. th-cam.com/video/etEE3MgxAO0/w-d-xo.html

@@WaterMaloneeee hard to say for sure. Some time I wish I have 4 stations instead of 3. Mostly because I like to add a crimp when loading 357 and 38. 3 dies have always served me well for loading 9mm rounds. Good afternoon Alek and thanks for stopping by and having a look at my content🙏🙏👍👍. I am glad you like this one and that I remind you indirectly of some good times. Have a great weekend.
Huh? Why is that? Edit: Wait, wait, I figured it out. It's because Biden is retarded. Funny! What did he say? ".22 will injure the lung, 9mm will remove the lung from the body." Something like that, so damn stupid.
A couple of things here. While this Lee Pro-1000 operated smoothly this time, it doesn't always go to plan. I had one that was horrible at missing or flipping primers. If it misses a primer, it dumps powder into the mechanism and takes 10-15 minutes to get it completely clean again. I've gone to Hornady LnL's. While I like the case loading ability of the Lee, Hornady does have that option. Hornady's warranty is great. With the LnL, you can set your dies up once and not have to fiddle with them again if you are changing calibers. The inserts are about $6.00 per die. Dillon, however, one shell plate is $100.00. As to savings, prior to the pandemic, I could load a box of 9mm for $2.50. I cast my bullets from wheelweights and scrounged my cases. Primers were $35.00/1000( so, 3.5 cents ea.), and the amount of powder was about a penny. It's relaxing to reload, though it's not for everyone. But, during ammo shortages, when everyone else is panicking, you can relax, knowing you have thousands of rounds of ammo stockpiled. And, the components to make more.
Good morning and thanks so much from sopping by Battalion.👍👍 It is comment like your that make up keep creating content. not often dose one come at such great comment with excellent insight to all the community. @ReloadingMoreAD1966 Well....I wrote you a reply that seems to have vanished. I watched your other video on reloading the .45ACP. Well done! Looks like you are much more organized than I am. I keep an eye on things, but I never thought of figuring out the entire weight of powder I was loading for. I just fill the hopper up and dump whatever is left back in my powder jug. I know about how many rounds I can get per pound. If I'm 3 or 4 each direction, that's pretty good. I've been loading .223's lately. My charge was 20 gn. of 4198. I checked my powder drop on an electronic scale. 20.018gn. And that seemed to be very consistent. Accuracy on these is very good. I saw that one of your friends said you are Ram. Good morning Noone, Thanks for taking time and looking at my content. It might be a little bit slower but not my much. This press can be fitted with a cheap original attachment that would place the bullet in position automatically. @@ReloadingMoreAD1966 Oh there is an option for automatic placement. Would have been a design flaw if there would not been a hopper for the bullets, because you can attach that to external power to automate the whole process.

Hi. Personally I must agree with you, in part at least. Since I started reloading especially the first year or so, I shot much more. I slowed down and if I had to put a percentage I probably shot 25% more than I did 5 years ago. not that is relevant but since then I have also increased the number of different calibers. in the end, personally and from my limited experience, I feel and I know that I am saving money when reloading. BUT most importantly, I have rounds that are more accurate because they are specifically loaded for my own needs and weapons. Take care and have a great evening.
@@ReloadingMoreAD1966 I 100% agree with you on being able to make custom loads, and the obvious benefits to that; IMHO it's the #1 reason to reload. #2 being that you either save money by reloading your spent brass, or you buy yourself the ability to shoot more, both of which are good things. It is not usual with this press as it is as aligned as one would expect on all occasions. The alignment issue and other issues you see here were real but lucky for me it was no issue during firing. I captured it as soon as I started editing and immediately knew the reason. I estimate that few rounds prior this single round footage the shell plate carrier cracked because I replaced it few rounds after this footage was taken when it totally gave way. Good morning Enrique. The Mark 7 press is a marvel of engineering. I have seen the Apex 10 in action and it is just so nice to watch. With that said, I think it would not be just to compare a $3000 press with the Pro 1000, priced at around $300. Some propellant is more fine than others and this can be very, very annoying. I have a feeling when they reached to this stage the RND people had an extra drink, or two. Anyway. All-in-all, this one is a great value for money and I learned to work around this few issues. If you have time, have a look at the link in the pinned comment for the complete view of the process on some 9mm or alternative, even more details for a .45ACP. Take care and have a great weekend.
Is this cheaper then just buying ammo? Because maybe getting the different components is expensive to get from different locations. Because you need to ship or get yourself Also can you reuse the cartridges and if you can how many times til they are unsafe?
Good evening Kerbo. Thanks for looking at this content and commenting accordingly. The cases can be reused but giving you an exact number of reuses is futile because this is dependent on several factors. Based on my experience, my reloading tools and the way I reload, 9mm cases I have used in access of 10 times without any issue. About the cost. Here is a calculation I sent to someone else that had a similar question yesterday. Take care and have a great day.👍👍 ------------------- Here are my own workings as follows: 🔶Based on 9mm setup only. (Changing caliber is approximately $100 addition, mostly dies and shell plate) 🔶ALL FIGURES & CALCULATION DONE January 2022 as follows: $300 _ Lee Pro 1000 Press 9mm, ref. 90640. $020 _ Lee Case Collator, ref. 90667. $045 _ Lyman Ammo Checker, ref. 7833000. $012 _ Dillon precision case lube, ref. 13733. $055 _ Scale frankford arsenal, ref. DS-750 $050 _ Price estimate for a generic caliper. $048 _ Price estimate for kinetic bullet puller. $530 _ TOTAL INVESTMENT of above listed item ONLY. $160 _ TOTAL Calculated price of raw materials to fabricate 1000 rounds type (CPRN-124gr) "brass cases free) $300 _ TOTAL Average price for factory loaded ammo, 1000 rounds, 124gr. 🔶Therefore, excluding labor cost, I save $140/1000 Rounds. 🔶Therefore, investment of $530 / Savings of $140 = 3786 rounds. 🔶Therefore, after 4000 rounds I start saving $140 / 1000 rounds I send down range. 🔶🔶🔶 In short, after 4000 to rounds I cover ONLY my investment cost.
Normally cartridges are good for about 3 reloads, maybe 4-5 if you are getting spent military brass that is thicccc. It is about half the cost of buying ammo, but you will need to offset the cost of the press and prolly another 200-400 bucks for dies and trimmers etc for the cartridges you wanna do and various other tools (powder scale esd mats calipers etc.). Technically you should really also have a proper explosives/flammables cabinet to keep everything in, looking at like 500-1500 bucks new for those dam things. With patience you can find great deals on them on ebay craigslist and the like on occasion. Just know if you are not storing this stuff properly and your house happens to burn down for any reason your home owners insurance will likely use it to try to not pay you. Hell even if you are storing it properly they might try. It might take a few years but it will pay for itself eventually at any level. Personally I would recommend getting a lee classic not one of these all in one progressive monstrosities. It's a bit much to keep track of for a beginner and frankly the things just aren't as reliable. Doing a batch of 50 one operation at a time is basically as fast as the progressive. additionally when batching you can check all your cartridges at each step in process, which is good practice when first starting out and progressives don't really allow you to do easily. Also you will pretty quickly be making ammo that is as good if not better than anything on the commercial market. Reloads are like 20% the cost of high quality match ammo.

Just wondering, because i am don't know much about gun and stuff. Can used bullet reloaded again and again infinitely or there're limit of how much used bullet can be reloaded?
Thanks for stopping by the channel. If when saying Bullet you refer to the projectile, being the part that exits the barrel and hits the target, to my understanding t\you cannot reuse that part, unless you collect the lead, melt, cast again and create a brand new projectile. If on the other hand, you are referring to the case, the brass case that is ejected from the pistol, that part can be used several times, mostly depending on the caliber. I have used cases for reloading 9x19mm ammo 6 times for sure with no issue what so ever. Take care and happy new year
@@unknownme217 No problem. I know people that have used cases in access of 15 times, especially with calibers such as the 45ACP. 9x19 and 38SP. When you are looking at rifle calibers, especially magnum calibers such as the 300WM, 338 Lapua and the 416 Barret the story is completely different. These might be practically unusable after the 2nd time. All depends on what tools you have. For instance, if you use an annealer the cases will past longer for such strong calibers. Take care.

I was just getting back to reloading after being on the road for 5 years. Used to have a lee turret press that I made thousands of rounds with. I wanted to set up a bad ass bench this time around I was thinking of using a Lyman 8 hole turret for rifle rounds and such and wanted a progressive press for pistol ammo, would you say it’s worth skipping the lee and grabbing a better progressive press or does the lee hold its tolerances well? Because the turret press I had was kind of sloppy in auto index mode
Hello and good evening. Thanks for looking at my content👍👍. One cannot compare the Lee progressive with for instance the Mark 7 Apex or the Dillon 1050. It is expected that the more you pay the better you are suppose to be served, especially if the Lee progressive is 10% of the price compared to these bigger brands/models. In the end it all boils down to how much you intend to spend and how much ammo and variation you intend to reload. Personally, for pistol rounds I use the progressive and sometimes the single stage. For rifle rounds I have not yet all the needed experience to reload but I already have a Mec Marksman press ready in store for the distant future. Have a great evening and thanks again for passing by.
@@ReloadingMoreAD1966 so, back to my question, does the lee hold tolerances well? Is there slop in the action that can cause some variation in COAL? Good morning Juan and thanks for stopping by.👍👍 Here I am using the 9mm die set by lee, item 90509, comprising of a total of 3 dies. The first is called the "Full Length Sizing Die". This particular die is removing the spent primer and simultaneously sizing the cartridge. The second die is the "Powder Thru Expanding Die". This die will flare the top of the case, making way for the projectile to be seated in the next step. This same die is also the place were the powder charge is released. The third die is seating the bullet in place and also crimping tight the bullet. Now be aware that the crimp is not a roll crimp, sort of what you see on older revolver rounds but just a minimal crimp, similar to factory loaded 9x19mm ammo supplied by most brands. Thanks for showing interest in my content. Have a look at the channel for longer, non-Short clips for this press. Regards and take care.

@DeathClanners sounds like a Hella cool job, until there is static...
I came to ask if this could do multi rounds ty for the answer.
They must have changed from 1985 then. They are complete junk now.

Hello David. Thanks for your comment and for sharing your thoughts. I doubt it is viable for anyone to reload with such low ammo consumption. Good morning dingus. Thanks for looking at the content. When reloading one saves money and most importantly increases the accuracy when shooting. when reloading one makes the rounds specific for the intended weapon and therefore accuracy is increased.
Prices of reloading materials have gone up but these are the numbers as they stand today:

€90 = CPRN heads.
€45 = Primers SP
€25 = Propellant
€00 = copper cases "free"
€160 = TOTAL cost for 1000 rounds

Im looking to get one of these pro 1000 for my 9mm reload. But heard horror stories about not being reliable. Have you encountered them?

@@ReloadingMoreAD1966 nice thought out. It'll be my first progressive. Been reloading on my single stage for my rifles only. After how many bullets does this machine pay for itself?
▶👍Good Morning. Thanks for taking interest in my content. Now this is an excellent question. I did workout the answer to your question months back for another member. Here are my own workings as follows:
🔶Based on 9mm setup only. (Changing caliber is approximately $100 addition, mostly dies and shell plate)
🔶ALL FIGURES & CALCULATION DONE January 2022 as follows:
$300 _ Lee Pro 1000 Press 9mm, ref. 90640.
$020 _ Lee Case Collator, ref. 90667.
$045 _ Lyman Ammo Checker, ref. 7833000.
$012 _ Dillon precision case lube, ref. 13733.
$055 _ Scale frankford arsenal, ref. DS-750
$050 _ Price estimate for a generic caliper.
$048 _ Price estimate for kinetic bullet puller.
$530 _ TOTAL INVESTMENT of above listed item.
$160 _ TOTAL Calculated price of raw materials to fabricate 1000 rounds type (CPRN-124gr) "brass cases free)
$300 _ TOTAL Average price for factory loaded ammo, 1000 rounds, 124gr.
🔶Therefore, excluding labor cost, I save $140/1000 Rounds.
🔶Therefore, investment of $530 / Savings of $140 = 3786 rounds.
🔶Therefore, after 4000 rounds I start saving $140 / 1000 rounds I send down range.
🔶🔶🔶 In short, after 4000 rounds I cover my investment cost.
Labor is the biggest cost
@@korodski it is labor intensive process. One must be committed, methodic and organized to safely reload and produce safe rounds .If I take under consideration the time needed, than it becomes far less economically viable to reload. Take care and have a great day

How come?
About the Lee press, I have had numerus issues and the primer flipping was a big one. Not to mention the cases being pulled back out or the shell plate holder cracking in a couple of occasions. I honestly share the frustration. On the one you see here I did several minor modifications and honestly it work almost 100% without any issue. If you get some time, please have a look at this longer clip for the Pro 1000 as it shows the process in detail. Here the link: th-cam.com/video/etEE3MgxAO0/w-d-xo.html
About the LNL press I had the pleasure of seeing that beast in operation at a friends place in Sicily on one of my trips. He is using the LNL for competitive shooting, specifically for 40S&W and he has only positive things to say about that one. it works extremely well and has a stronger construction compared to the Pro1000, as you would expect since he almost 3 times the price of the Lee.

The people I know who reload don't really save money, because they just end up shooting more.

I 100% agree with you on being able to make custom loads, and the obvious benefits to that; IMHO it's the #1 reason to reload. #2 being that you either save money by reloading your spent brass, or you buy yourself the ability to shoot more, both of which are good things.

Good afternoon James and thanks for stopping by the channel 👍👍🙏. These are exclusively for personal use for target shooting. Take care and have a great evening.
i figured, cause dont you have to have a license to sell ammo?@@ReloadingMoreAD1966
My dad bought one of these when I bought my Dillon 550. He laughed at me cuz he paid a 100 dollars and I paid 350. Then I changed calibers in about 3 minutes from 9mm to .357. Then .45, then 10mm, then .223. All take 3 to five minutes to change over. Changing calibers on that machine is a nightmare. Six months later he bought a Dillon. That was thirty years ago and my 550 is still humming away.
God afternoon and thanks for stopping by the channel James🙏👍. The dillon 550 is a fantastic reloading machine. Hard to compare to be honest. Depends what budget you have and what you are planning to reload. the lee is a cost effective solution and the ammo it makes is reasonable good. it will need a few adjustment but eventually when you understand how it works it is a nice machine to have. I must say I can relate to the frustration your father might have encountered during the years.

How much does it cost to get set up for reloading? And what's the estimated $/round? Gonna do my own research, just hoping somebody can offer a "fast-track" answer/estimate? Been very interested for a long time but hadn't been in a position to invest in the matter.

$530 _ TOTAL INVESTMENT of above listed item ONLY.

@@ReloadingMoreAD1966 fantastic, thank you, most of that I understood. Lol. So if i got this straight, roughly $530 gets my workstation set up, and from there it will cost me approx. $160 to produce myself 1000rds?

I wonder what is the cheapest fully automatic reloader? If anyone knows
Good morning and thanks for stopping by the channel 👍👍 I think the lowest on the scale might be the most simplified Dillon 650 with 9x19 dies. The Pro autodrive motor for the 650 will cost you around $2700 so a total cost of around $4500 might be the cheapest one can manage. Obviously you add up the cost for every additional caliber change kit, around $400 for pistol rounds and more for rifle rounds dependable on what dies you go for. They can range from $400 to $1200 per different caliber. Take care and have a great weekend.

Is this cheaper then just buying ammo?
Because maybe getting the different components is expensive to get from different locations. Because you need to ship or get yourself
Also can you reuse the cartridges and if you can how many times til they are unsafe?
Good evening Kerbo. Thanks for looking at this content and commenting accordingly. The cases can be reused but giving you an exact number of reuses is futile because this is dependent on several factors. Based on my experience, my reloading tools and the way I reload, 9mm cases I have used in access of 10 times without any issue.

Reloading is a very dangerous affair and it requires lots of time, patience and restraint. Even so, mishaps can happen..
Here is what I normally use for 9x19 reloading.
Heads:
- 124gr RNCP, FNCP by L.O.S, NTW, Fiocchi, Romana Metalli, H&N or Frontier.
- 124gr RN Polymer coated RN by ARES or IGF.
- 125gr SJSP, reference 613573 by Fiocchi.
- 130gr SJFP, reference B-329 by PRVI.
Primers:
- S&B, Fiocchi, CCI, Murom or Federal.
Propellant:
- N320, CSB5, CSB6, FRex, Vectan SP8.
Note: For the amount of propellant and overall length of the projectile follow the specified data by each respective manufacturer of the specific product.

Do you typically load 9mm projectiles that have a cannelure? Or was that actually a .357 bullet ?
Good morning Yoda and thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment👍👍.. The projectile used here is a 130gr SJFP, reference B-329 fabricated by PRVI, diameter of 0.3545.
A similar projectile that I have also used, more frequently than this is the 125gr SJSP, reference 613573 by Fiocchi. Both mentioned projectiles I have used to reload 9mm and .38 special rounds with no issue what so ever.
Take care and have a great day.
Take care and happy new year
@@ReloadingMoreAD1966 yeah i mean the case. Thx for anwering.

Does it get cramped?
Good morning Juan and thanks for stopping by.👍👍
Here I am using the 9mm die set by lee, item 90509, comprising of a total of 3 dies.

Have a great day.
@@ReloadingMoreAD1966 I’m asking about components but I’m very interested about bullets because they are for 38/357 in .358 diameter. Have you got any issues with these bullets in 9mm? I use .358 bullets once, but it was soft Frontier 125gr and the load was made for HK USP who literally “eat everything”
@@Spyderco79 Not familiar with the 125g Frontier but the Fiocchi I am using here is 0.3565 in diameter. That is what I measured with my micrometer. The box is also marked as 9mm. Here is an independent link of the box: ( shoparmeriapalmieri.com/COMPONENTIRICARICA/30239-fiocchi-palle-blind-38-357-125gr-8000000031327.html ).
This Fiocchi head on a 9mm round gave me no issues when fired from a CZ75.
Take care.
@@ReloadingMoreAD1966 Thanks, have a nice day 👌
I'm watching this and instinctively hearing the Peewee Herman breakfast machine song in my head.
Good evening Andrew and thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment on my channel👍👍 Had a listen of that song and it is fantastically perfect for something like this. I suspect it is copyrighted but will give it a try if the opportunity presents itself. Take care and have a great day.
Im curious? After all the money spent and all the time n work that go into this is it actually worth it???
Good morning Duval. Thanks for your very good question. Incidentally, yesterday someone asked the same question. Here is the reply so you can work it out and see if it is something viable for you. Take care and have a great day.

Red team all the way!!!
Amen to that. Lee are great value for money and when you get to know the press it is easy to make some good rounds. Have a great evening.
The lee one is nice but the dillon I use is just amazing 🤩
Good afternoon and thanks for stopping by the channel Willy 🙏👍. Hands down to the Dillon. That is a fantastic reloading machine. Hard to compare to be honest. Depends what budget you have and what you are planning to reload. The lee is a cost effective solution and the ammo it makes is reasonable good. Here is a link to another of my video on my channel for the Dillon 650 . th-cam.com/video/UyKHr_O8-tg/w-d-xo.html
Have a look at the other more longer clips of the Lee 1000 on my channel. Link in the pinned comment.
Have a great evening.
Thanks man ur welcome I’ve never personally used lee but now I have a good opinion on it 👍🏻
What bullets are you using? I’ve not seen 9MM softpoints with a heavy cannelure like that. Looks more like a bullet you’d use in a revolver w/ roll crimp.
Good morning and thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment👍👍..
Have a great weekend
@@ReloadingMoreAD1966 Holy smokes, those numbers were hard to find. You out of the US by any chance?
--
What powder and charge? I tend to use Power Pistol with heavier bullets, as I find that it’s a decent compromise between chamber pressure and maximum velocity using medium pistol calibers like 9MM and 40 SW
@@1FireyPhoenix Hello Again. I am situated in Europe but import lots of items from USA. Most recent the MEC marksman press. The PRVI heads are old stock. The powder it all depends what is available because it is difficult these days. For 9x19 I most comonly used for N320, CSB5 or 6, FRex green or Vectan SP8. Have a great day.
How do you know when you put enough gun powder in ? Does it automatically dispense the perfect amount ?
Good morning Luke. Thanks for looking at my content👍👍👍. The system is equipped with a measurement for powder. The amount of powder used is determined by many factors but as soon as you know what is needed the powder dispenser is adjusted accordingly and very round is filled with the same weight/volume of powder.
Do have a look at the longer clip for this press if you are interested. links in the pinned comment.
Have a great weekend.
My grandfather used a dispenser which you could manually set the amount it dispensed and then it was weighed also to make sure it wasnt above the maximum or below the minimum requirements for the particular cartidge and it was specified to me that a little bjt goes a long way so if you overload you can turn your pistol into a hand grenade. But as long as everything weighed properly, it was all good
@@ReloadingMoreAD1966 thanks for the reply ! It definitely peaked my interest and I’ll definitely watch the video on this press.
Is assembly your own bullet like that more cheaper than buy finished one ?
Good Morning Dofri and thanks for stopping by👍🙏. One would need to make a calculation based on the caliber and individual needs. more that just saving money the produced ammo is customized for your specific weapons so the shooter will see a huge improvement on accuracy. Here is a small calculation someone had asked for in the past just to give you an idea about the costs involved. BUT.. Don't be fooled by my entertainment video that reloading is a mundane and easy operation.

All the other bays operating at the same time suggests to me that two other operations could be going on, is that correct? Or is it a safety and quality thing that only ones being made at a time, im genuinly curious.
Good morning and thanks so much for looking at my content 👍🙏👍🙏. This particular short clip I opted for a slow mode with only a singular round to make the process more understandable. Normally it goes much faster and the quality remains the same. Have a look at the link in the pinned comment for the complete view of the process on some 9mm or alternative, even more details for a .45ACP. Have a great weekend
It is relaxing to reload when you have everything dialed in.
Very much so🙏. Good morning and thank you for stopping by and finding time to leave a comment🙏🙏👍.
Where was this vid when I needed it
Good morning and thanks for stopping by Migor 👍 Do have a look at the longer clip on my channel about this press. You can see the details of the entire process. Link in the pinned comment or here: th-cam.com/video/etEE3MgxAO0/w-d-xo.html . Take care and have a great Sunday.
I’ll take the lee 4000 because the lee factory crimp dies are a must
Thanks for stopping by. Honestly on the 9x19 and the 45ACP I do well with the set of 3. If you look closely at factory ammo of these calibers they are supplied without roll crimp. Take care and have a great evening
sick brother !!! what have you made from this one so far i hope more then a few k Reloading
I did 4 calibers this 9x19, 45ACP, .38Sp and .357. Have been looking at another one by lee. Maybe I get it next year. Take care.
i mean $$$ my best vid is 230 and some change hope your in the k's brother
@@mrsmel269 I see. I made nothing close to that, not even on all my clips combined. This one hit 8.2mil just before I got accepted to monetise. Was able to start monetisation in may this year. I hope this or another make a run for it. Take care
damn brother sounds like my luck . i deff hope you bang a lot more 8+ mill runs and get lotz more fun money . enjoy the weekend brother
I’m jealous I want one! Been reading the comments and this short was super cool/educational

How consistent are powder measures? Do a lot of reloading for long range shooting but haven't tried a press like this, I use a electric balance to measure each powder load individually
Good morning and thank you for stopping by and finding time to leave a comment🙏🙏👍.
In my opinion, only in my opinion, I think it is consistent enough. At least for me it feels so. When dropping the charge, the variation is visible within + or - 0.1 grain. Can be less or more depending on what type of propellant I go for but never more than 0.15 variation. Have a great weekend.
How long does it takes for 30 rounds? Ik you slow down there for the asmr but I'm just wondering
Hi and good morning. 👍👍I like your question because I have 2 perfect answer. One is easy and one is fun. The easy answer is around 20 rounds per minute when all goes well, but you have to consider that you cannot go on without resting your hand every now and then.
To other answer is fun, have a look at my own process here for 9mm. th-cam.com/video/GplsUtheYPM/w-d-xo.html.
also available in even more details for .45ACP here

Lead tips? I like this man even more because now I know he doesn’t own a shitty Glock.
Good morning Mark and thanks so much for looking at my content 👍🙏👍🙏. Without getting into the merits of the mentioned brand, I can tell you that in the future I have a couple of clips that it will feature the same brand.
