On that note, buy my inhaler that purifies air into oxygen rich air. Did you know that like 70% of air is nitrogen? With my simple device you get up to twice as much oxygen!! /s
Funnily enough, something like this is an actual product and not snake oil. It’s just niche and most people don’t need it since it’s to recover oxygen faster after athletic activities or to compensate for not being accustomed to high altitudes. I wouldn’t be shocked if some of these people tried to sell it without explaining that it’s for a specific niche though.
Someone kept saying “do your research and you’ll see”. I can find very few studies, and so far the only somewhat “evidence” is it may help with like inflammation and some other things. But how much it helps and if it actually helps still needs to be majorly studied. Anyone making claims this will help you “not get sick” “help with insulin resistance” are wildly dangerous and negligent claims. It’s crazy how people will lie about your health for money to sell another item on your “tik tok shop”
I don’t see how blue light puts more Hydrogen in the water but I only studied high school chemistry 😂. Water with more hydrogen in it would be an acid but these are the same people that try to sell you alkaline water.

There’s one company in Australia that links all the possible studies, about 50 I think, and I guess they assume no one will read them because 99% of them are studies done on rats/mice with existing liver diseases, kidney diseases, and diabetes. Often it’ll be like “80% of these disgusting, diseased, infected rats showed improvement with hydrogen water. Still died tho hehe.” Also in multiple links provided, the abstract notes that they studied it but a) they were wrong, b) it was inconclusive, or c) my favourite, it was so inconclusive they weren’t even going to publish the paper, just the abstract to say they’d done it. I lied, my favourite is secret option D that I just remembered: Two of the linked studies were REMOVED from educational sources. Anyway. Those are the sources for hydrogen water doing a single damn thing. I think I might lose my mind if I ever have to think about vortex water another day in my life though (hint: it’s better because it went swirl swirl)

I can definitely appreciate that one lady's humility and saying "I sounded stupid" and just recognizing that she was wrong (which happens in life) 15:18.
I can't tell if scams are evolving or going backwards
Snake oil is always the same, fancy packaging and bloated claims for stuff you could find dirt cheap just about anywhere 😂
*Knock Knock* FTC OPEN UP!!
Dear God this is bad. I hope this gets stopped soon. All these nasties need to be fined asap at the very least.
im so glad to see that lady who said she was wrong & that she promoted misinformation. absolutely insane that the company won't take it down like people won't see her video anyway
I would love to be a fly on the wall at the physician consultations when people ask about their intention to start a hydrogen water journey.
Pretty sure it is just an electrolysis machine? So it is doing **something**, but it makes me wonder if they used safe materials. With snake oil like this, they probably used whatever is cheapest.
My bet is that it’s just a little motor at the bottom that generates bubbles when you turn it on 😂
@@Kyiecutie I hope so, that would probably have less risk of putting heavy metals in your water 😅
as someone who is lacking a lot of education due to mental health, even i feel intelligent a lot of the time online, which is always nice. just drink water. it’s enough 😭
I am so glad you’re dedicating a whole video to just this, my husband almost pissed himself when I told him about the stupidity 😂😂😂
Three minutes for it to do its thing, and that's the little amount we get for it? Hell, I hate even waiting for my Brita to do its thing, but I know at least I'm getting MULTIPLE glasses of water out of that when it's done.
WebMD’s “nice” way of saying what you just did 😂😂: “Experts believe there may be some benefits to drinking hydrogen water. But many aren’t sure they’re greater than those of regular water. Staying hydrated in general is a great way to stay healthy.” Awesome video!
Thank you!!! My boyfriend bought one of these water bottles and is obsessed with it. I literally got the ick so bad I don’t think I can recover
Here's me once again losing hope in humanity when i see these companies trying to sell bs overpriced products
I actually got an ad for this bottle on yt the other day!
Omg noooooo they’re infiltrating TH-cam now 😂
@@IsabellaLanter lol yep. I’ll stick with my regular dihydrogen monoxide!
this is actually insane😭 they’re acting like there isn’t hydrogen in water??? like what do you mean hydrogen infused water?? it already is!!
reminds me of that parks and rec episode where tom and leslie have to sensationalize, and essentially do what influencers do in brand deals, to get the city to understand that it's okay to have fluoride in the city water it because councilman jam, who was a dentist, tried to convince them that it was poison because he wanted people to have less fluoride intake so more people would have to go to him for dentistry work.
this is genuinely one of the funniest things i’ve ever watched
I need that t-shirt. Also I'm very rarely here this early, wow!
heyyyy!! i wish i had a link for ya'll but it was the best thrifting find ever lolll
What have we learned? Drink more your perfectly balanced H2O water that already has hydrogen and you’ll feel better.
I saw something about this on twitter. I couldn't help but laugh. Those poor people fell for the scam so hard! Somebody didn't pay attention in school.
Imagine going to your doctor to make sure it’s safe for you to drink water 😂
It’s giving placebo
I'm glad you cover this because the first time I saw this I got interested for like 5 minutes but then I did my researche on the subject and yeah... they really have no shame. 🙄
Hi Isabella! Thank you from shedding light on your personal PCOS & PMDD journey. I have endometriosis and PMDD. Happy PMDD Awareness Month
This makes me confused cause like water molecules literally contain hydrogen atoms right?? Like water molecules make water and stuff so why add more hydrogen???
Apparently there’s more “benefits”. But from what I’ve seen there’s potential for benefits, and a lot is gonna vary on the test, product, etc.
it’s most likely doing nothing. adding hydrogen protons to water makes it more acidic, but i don’t think you can isolate the protons through H2 gas which this product allegedly adds to water 💀
your face with the "I gUeSs JoE rOgAn DoEs tHiS?!!" ☠️
I looked up and your face at the joe rogan reference was the same as mine.😂
I think this was my favorite video of yours of all time. I was witch cackling right along with you 🤣
More quakery on TikTok, shilled for money. Surprise, surprise. Love these deep-dives. though. Super entertaining and definitely encourages laughs over tears with your commentary!!
It's the 'power of suggestion' aka the f*ckin' placebo effect. It's 100% horse shit.
big YAY to the shirt!! :D every shirt I've seen that had a similar big print with an animal has been this amazingly soft but also relatively thick cotton, so I can imagine how comfy you are!!
That shirt is SO CUTE!!! Thanks for the videos. Your channel is amazing ❤
Omg thank you so so much!
"When two hydrogens and one oxygen love each other very much..." just made my day. 🤣🤣🤣 Please give these "huns" the elemental sex talk.
"Well, I don't die" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I almost choked on my coffee...
🥝💚🖤
In school one time we had to make our own product and the tip we got was: Create a problem and then a solution for it
And I have never seen ads the same again
On that note, buy my inhaler that purifies air into oxygen rich air. Did you know that like 70% of air is nitrogen? With my simple device you get up to twice as much oxygen!! /s
Funnily enough, something like this is an actual product and not snake oil. It’s just niche and most people don’t need it since it’s to recover oxygen faster after athletic activities or to compensate for not being accustomed to high altitudes. I wouldn’t be shocked if some of these people tried to sell it without explaining that it’s for a specific niche though.
I’m sure there’s lots of science that backs this up 😂😂😂
The science of “trust me bro”.😂
They always say there is lots of evidence to back it up, but then never show said evidence like okay, that means nothing to me.
In all fairness I’m pretty sure the placebo effect is legit 😂 Maybe I should try to be scammed so I can experience all the wonderful benefits 💀
I can't believe we don't have enough water in our water 😢
They lost me at “I got this on the TikTok shop”✌️😵💫
I hope people don't buy it.
Same lol
Basic chemistry: water without any hydrogen is JUST OXYGEN! WOW I'm so glad I never use Tiktok because ohh my gawwwwwd
I don’t see how blue light puts more Hydrogen in the water but I only studied high school chemistry 😂. Water with more hydrogen in it would be an acid but these are the same people that try to sell you alkaline water.
What the hell do they think the H in H2O stands for 🤦♀️😂
most of all... where are they getting the pure hydrogen from?! is it IN the bottle? is it a tablet? a capsule? i have so many questions
Its unfathomable that people just dont care and advertise this kind of ridiculous scam, people really have no morals just to get a few quick bucks, they dont even care. Scam are so prolific that now any ads I consider them scams. its never the reality.
In terms of the "benefits" they claimed this suposed watter botle brings, the funiest one is probably the Ph balancing one because if your body pH was "unbalanced" trust me you would be in the hospital. They just added a bunch of buzz words.
Water already has hydrogen in it.
You should make a video about these Crystal scams on TikTok. I last saw them years ago and they still have 1k views per stream. You pay $50 for ONE scoop and don’t even know whether they are real crystals or not etc…
She has covered this!
Thank you for bringing things to the light and being the voice of reason. You are so funny and I love your videos. Keep up the great work
I also want to add specific vitamins and supplements can mess up your prescribed medication, which will make you feel bad. Be careful around that
10:17 I’ve done a deep DEEP dive into hydrogen water and vortex water (literally just end me at that point I swear, I’m stupider for going into that one) just as a pastime and it is in fact not proven to benefit anything at all lmao.
The part you said about how “it has to make sense what you’re adding value to” 👏👏👏
They literally are spreading misinformation everywhere. This is a reason I can only consume the tea from your channel/youtube 🙏😭
I just want to say I fully clicked on this mainly because I was so perplexed with what was going on with your shirt in the thumbnail and I am not disappointed 😂
That is the best I’m so glad it brought you here 😂😂😂
Oh my gosh when you pulled your shirt over your face and leaned back to laugh it brought the dog face up as you laugh and it was GOLD. This shirt is hilarious 😂 I love it so much 😂😂
Is it me or is it just a nightlight water bottle lol love your vids girlie ❤❤❤
Are you telling me they put a whole hydrogen fuel cell in the bottom of that bottle?! I have some doubts…😂😂
Wasn’t this an MLM product at one point? I swear I’ve seen this dumb thing somewhere before.
Yes!!! Lumivitae!!! Chelsea did a video on them but I haven’t heard anyone else talk them… or since for that matter!
@@genevievehebert-carr5047Yesss!!! I remember now!
the way that I get so giddy when I see your uploads
My initial question is "Where is it getting the hydrogen?"
Ew. Gulping and smacking sounds as these unfortunate souls drink this magical water 💧 makes me want to reach for a beer, instead.
Something a colleague of my husband did with his doctor, that colleague drank around 3 liters of water and more so he got problems due to too much. The doctor advised to drink also fruitjuice or other fluids. He asked wine? Doctor said that ain’t juice, his colleague said hey it ain’t my fault that the farmer left his grape juice to long in the barrels! It’s still a joke till today and that colleague is on his retirement.
