So they don't have to walk around with the pair of shoes that they have a hole in the bottom of the soul. Where they could get a decent clothes to wear to work. Instead of the worned out , & ill fitting clothes, where they will feel, self-conscious and uncomfortable. Please say that Goodwill is not doing this. We did this by budgeting, planning, and looking for great deals and coming up with cost saving ideas. We got married in the fall so the decor was cheap sunflowers, acorns, sticks, squash. The venue was an old community center. We paid a friend of a friend to bartend. I asked my old boss to bake and decorate our wedding cake. Obviously that is still a lot of money, but my cousin spent $12,000 on a venue alone! When people brag about this shit, my first thought is never "Oh youre so rich." Its "You are very stupid with money." How tf do even spend $60,000 on a single trip.
I dunno if this helps avoid scams but it definitely helps me avoid FOMO and feeling like I'm so far behind in life, I block any "luxury" type content. Like anyone that even looks "rich" or who's content focuses on things, like objects not random subjects. If I come across people that use super prescriptive language around money, spending, fashion, etc I block. Not just unfollow, block. It seems since I started doing that, I see a lot less scammy stuff.

I think the Klingon just wanted to burp one of our bowls. No need for the deflector shield ladies. Plus, think of the mentorship you would get from a Klingon! 😂

With each anit-mlm/scam videos I watch, my decision to add an "is it true or not" section to my senior English courses curriculum is solidified. I work at a small, rural high school (we graduated 20 last month), but if I can help our next class of 20 stay away from scams, then I shall!
I would also add a couple of marketing 101 to the curriculum. There is this reddit story about "what as an industry secret you can finally tell us? and then a reply from a suppostly victoria secret model who is willing to share with all of us (out of the kindness of her heart😭) supplements that helped her grew her boobs naturally. She then goes into recommending omega 3 and biotin BUT you most not forget the most important one Bee vitality. It was like marketing 101 and people in the comment section ate it up like it was so obvious! A nice interesting story, with some facts you already know and are well known (biotin and omega 3), followed by the product you trying to sell, and then put a nice bow around the whole thing. Don't forget to act like you are doing them a favor by telling them this vital information.
Damn only 20 people? That sounds like half the amount of people in one class at the high school I graduated from 😅 (I went to a school where my graduating class was over 2,000 and the school itself had four levels (and even had an elevator!) 😅)

The reason these people sell you courses on how to do what they do is because they know it isn't sustainable. I promise whatever knowledge or skills you are looking to learn are on the internet for free. My advice, learn a trade, get into a niche, and get really really good at it. Not everyone is cut out to be a buisness owner/influencer and thats okay. Dont buy into the bs that you can't lead a full happy life with a 9 to 5. And moms, don't let these awful women guilt you into joining an mlm by saying you don't have time for your children. I negotiate contracts for a living and you nailed it - IP is one of the "heavy hitters" that I can almost always bank on being redlined in the terms sheet. Always. IP and trade secrets are businesses' bread and butter - why would they just give it to you?

This has replaced the yoga teacher scam of the ‘00s and early ‘10s when every yoga studio was offering tons of teacher trainings to keep the studios afloat. Most of the teachers couldn’t actually find a place to teach because each studio churned out 100s per year, and many of them opened up their own studios teaching the exact same method. Between the scandals and the cannibalization, I think a lot of these studios ended up closing by the end of the ‘10s or during the pandemic. The girls latching onto digital marketing seemed to miss what happened there. There is only so much of any item the market needs.

I report these scam ads everytime I see them on TH-cam and other social media sites. On TH-cam they have click-bait claims on the thumbnails "make $4k a day", and when you for the report the 'authors' are unverified. I have started writing in my scam reports "Why isn't [insert social media] not doing anything about these blatant scams? 4k in a day COME ON". Yet they are still showing up as sponsored ads. The greed of social media companies to take money from these blatant scams is horrific.

With each anit-mlm/scam videos I watch, my decision to add an "is it true or not" section to my senior English courses curriculum is solidified. I work at a small, rural high school (we graduated 20 last month), but if I can help our next class of 20 stay away from scams, then I shall!

I would also add a couple of marketing 101 to the curriculum. There is this reddit story about "what as an industry secret you can finally tell us? and then a reply from a suppostly victoria secret model who is willing to share with all of us (out of the kindness of her heart😭) supplements that helped her grew her boobs naturally. She then goes into recommending omega 3 and biotin BUT you most not forget the most important one Bee vitality. It was like marketing 101 and people in the comment section ate it up like it was so obvious! A nice interesting story, with some facts you already know and are well known (biotin and omega 3), followed by the product you trying to sell, and then put a nice bow around the whole thing. Don't forget to act like you are doing them a favor by telling them this vital information.
Damn only 20 people? That sounds like half the amount of people in one class at the high school I graduated from 😅 (I went to a school where my graduating class was over 2,000 and the school itself had four levels (and even had an elevator!) 😅)
This is amazing but be prepared for the MLM mothers to raise hell lol. Children will be teaching their mothers/fathers how they got sucked into a scam.

I'm a small buisness owner and I will tell you, no buisness owner would EVER sell you their "trade secrets" unless they were quitting. The reason these people sell you courses on how to do what they do is because they know it isn't sustainable. They want as much money as quickly as possible before that ship sinks and then they will hop onto the new grift.
I promise whatever knowledge or skills you are looking to learn are on the internet for free. My advice, learn a trade, get into a niche, and get really really good at it. Not everyone is cut out to be a buisness owner/influencer and thats okay. Dont buy into the bs that you can't lead a full happy life with a 9 to 5. And moms, don't let these awful women guilt you into joining an mlm by saying you don't have time for your children. Im sure those people's kids lose respect for them when they learn their mom was scamming for a living. 😬

I negotiate contracts for a living and you nailed it - IP is one of the "heavy hitters" that I can almost always bank on being redlined in the terms sheet. Always. IP and trade secrets are businesses' bread and butter - why would they just give it to you?

The biggest red flag to me with things like this is the ‘you can this too’. If you’re making all this money why are you giving out tips and tricks for others to gain it? Wouldn’t that threaten your wealth???
That’s what I’m wondering. For some careers I get sharing tips to help others. But for something like this? Sounds like a huge issue to me!
From my personal experience (which is very little) helping others rise above you and guiding them to successes just as good as yours or better can be just as fulfilling. But thats a PERSONAL thing.
I am starting up a plant MLM (hahaha jk jk), but a planty business to share the love of plants, not to just make insane profit. But i have financial privilege to do that, this isnt my "main" hustle and if it was, i dont know if i would be so willing to share the love!!! Lol

And even if they were wanting to share this info out of just the goodness of their hearts, they would outline it in a clear detailed fashion in a book, blog, etc. You would never need to DM a keyword to get this secret info and bypass the filters
the fake documents for things like passports and birth certificates are more so for people who are undocumented, i won’t elaborate but as someone who is first generation that’s the reasoning

If it WAS about actual proper investment, wouldn't they specifically target people who are already wealthy? Ever single business opportunity in real life that is a legit one is intended for people who, well, can afford to do business with their disposable income. Not that I didn't know yet that scams target lower class people but this one line truly gives it away.
That girl faking documents should be reported to her state AG office, passports to the nearest FBI office, any other documents to a local police. That shit is not only illegal, it is dangerous to the ppl hiring the fakers.

This has replaced the yoga teacher scam of the ‘00s and early ‘10s when every yoga studio was offering tons of teacher trainings to keep the studios afloat. Most of the teachers couldn’t actually find a place to teach because each studio churned out 100s per year, and many of them opened up their own studios teaching the exact same method. Between the scandals and the cannibalization, I think a lot of these studios ended up closing by the end of the ‘10s or during the pandemic. The girls latching onto digital marketing seemed to miss what happened there. There is only so much of any item the market needs.

I report these scam ads everytime I see them on TH-cam and other social media sites. On TH-cam they have click-bait claims on the thumbnails "make $4k a day", and when you for the report the 'authors' are unverified. I have started writing in my scam reports "Why isn't [insert social media] not doing anything about these blatant scams? 4k in a day COME ON". Yet they are still showing up as sponsored ads. The greed of social media companies to take money from these blatant scams is horrific.
