Every single time I went to a hair salon I got my hair botched. I'm an introvert, in the moment you don't speak up. You say you love it and then go home and cry. The one time I told a hair stylist I didn't like it she got real mad and treated me like crap. The best thing I did was to learn how to do my own hair tbh
same! I've had to walk out of salons to avoid getting into it with stylists because they just straight up refused to cut my hair short enough. Its MY HAIR if I want it short then CUT IT SHORT especially if I'm paying you!
@@CrustyUgg did you finish reading her comment? She said the first time she spoke up about how she felt the hairstylist was cruel to her. Of course after that experience she’d be too nervous to say how she felt after a haircut.
As someone who has admitted I didn’t like my hair and my friend also had the same issue (they cut our hair too short 3 separate times even though we brought in photos and tried was very clear about what we wanted. They were rude and eventually actually went out of business (not shocking) but yeah even when you try to speak up they won’t generally fix it and when then have ignored what you wanted then you can’t trust them to fix that mistake either.
I don't know what it is with literal professionals suddenly being unable to properly do hair. Past 20 times i've gone to a salon they can't even cut it right, let alone bleach right. Not paying over 100$ for a job I can do better at home.
Literally. My husband god his hair cut, and I told the guy to clean up the neck, like the baby hairs, and this dud goes in with THICK SHEARS and buzzes it short. I literally cried, like ugly cried. When I would go as a kid, I would tell them don't layer m hair, I don't like layers I just want bangs and a trim. No matter where I went they would layer, and always miss huge chunks of my bangs. Safe to say, I will being do my husbands hair from now on, and continue to do mine
I have been licensed 23yrs. I spent 14 behind the chair. It disgusts me the amount of price gouging and many not willing to keep up with continuing education. In order to keep up with current trends and advances in techniques, it is imperative that you continue to learn. With that being said, charge your worth. If you work in a community that is on melrose, sure, rents are high ect. I get it. However, most live in small town america and charging 300+ for a cut and single color is insane. If you want something more Avangard then of course you must charge more. The important thing is a through consultation, with strand testing and realistic expectations. Rome was not built in a day and neither is a double blonding with dark roots and balayage. Another thing, you should have a cut that doesn’t require you to use 150$ in products everytime you style your hair. Create cuts and styles that work with your hair and doesn’t require you to damage or use products that can possibly cause more damage. I’d rather make less but have a great clientele that shows up and is happy than having a huge service and an upset client. Also, he sucks at color placement and color theory. There are thousands of other stylists who could do circles around that guy. His color is patchy and you are seeing everything through his choice of lighting and filters. CREATE HAIR FOR THE REAL WORLD NOT HOLLYWEIRD.
I’m not a licensed hairstylist but I have a grasp of the basics because I do my own. Why. WHY did he put down the dark color first then bleach? I’m genuinely curious if there’s a reason for this when a reverse balayage would be less damaging
I love this and appreciate your input! I feel that I can no longer afford to get my hair done by a professional - the prices have gotten out of hand and it’s so hard to “correct” a professional if you don’t get what you were expecting! It’s really hard! But you’re absolutely right, if they could know your hair type and the possibilities they could tell you what to expect. I’ve been let down so many times at the hair salon. And honestly, a lot of it has to do with my hair tie. I have extremely fine hair, like so fine, and tons of baby hair, and it’s not smooth or straight. So when I ask for certain things, and I don’t see results, I feel like it’s the stylist’s fault. But finally now I realize it’s my hair type. And I just wish that I had a hairstylist that could look at my hair and just be able to tell me, “this won’t work for your hair, but this is what will.”
I'm a hairdresser that specializes in color correction, i think as far as cut and color and saving hair on her head they did great, when you have that much damage it's hard to even get a color to stick to it. So having a choice in what color you're gunna get is a HIGH maybe and hoping the hair stays. As for extensions especially tape ins that can literally break off damaged hair. I professionally would've said no to extensions. Let the hair grow or for 3 months and then we can do extensions. But this drama is the kind of stuff of my nightmares with social media and being dragged.... eeeek
After seeing how beautiful the 2nd time came out, the first salon did not try very hard. It looks like she went to a cosmetology school to get it done.
3:49 My (Excellent) hairdresser made it clear that if I messed my hair up, or went to someone else and they messed my hair up, that it will end up costing me more in the long run than just going to him. He never did me wrong. Was he the most affordable salon? No, but he gave me a deep discount so there was NO excuse.
I’ve been a hairstylist for almost 10 yrs and Alfredo has been a hair influencer for years even before TikTok and every video I’ve seen of his looks like he’s cutting corners.. this does not surprise me unfortunately. His balayage technique literally doesn’t make sense at all.. it’s always thick and splotchy looking on application and he must do extra work off camera to cover up his sloppy work 😒🙄 People like him tarnish this industry and the rest of us stylists who go out of our way to do our job with diligence and integrity
His technique literally drives me insane, it creates weird thick chunky highlights and you can tell he absolutely cuts corners! I thought balayage was supposed to be a beautiful blended petal almost shape? Idk what he's doing and I'm not a hairstylist by any means but his technique seems outdated. I cannot stand how chunky the top looks. I also think they both rush because Philip does the same cut on everyone too, thins their hair super quick. And most of the time the results are iffy. I've screenshotted so many videos where they do the same thing cuz I couldn't believe it. They need to update their techniques and quit rushing!
@@parissinclair1809 youre so right!! The way he paints hair is so globby and chunky and you can see the chunks of blonde he painted coming back through since her colormelt is starting to fade! It’s clear to me that Alfredo must be followed by primarily non stylists bc any one with a bit of experience would question his techniques shown on video 🤷🏻♀️
I am a hairstylist, and doing balayage on WET hair is absolutely ridiculous!! the point of balayage is that it sits on top of the hair and gives a sun kiss, but when the hair is wet, it will bleed into the rest of it and make it stripe and uneven
What I don't understand is, why don't peoole understand that people can feel uncomfortable with confrontation and people can go into fight, flight, freeze and FAWN. Like folks will still tip you and say nice things and still hate the service you provided them.
See, I would agree with that, as someone who is uncomfortable with confrontation and tends to go into that fawn-state to try and smoothe the edges, but I can't really see being in that mindset and then still talking to your stylist the next day and double down, to then completely shittalk him online later. The fact that a day later, she still supposedly "loved" it makes me suspicious aout that. I honestly think they both handled the situation poorly. The stylist should have said that he isn't confident that he can do what she wants, and she shouldn't have done a total 180 the way she did. Not surprised, though. The hair transformations thing gives "Look how great I am helping all those people", and I'm not loving Taylor's energy and attitude either.
@@beardiemom there is no time limitation on fight, flight, freeze or fawn. This can happen literally weeks, months or even years after the event. We don't know any 1 individuals processing time.
@@catricewallace6232 That's true, we don't, but for someone who is confrontation avoidant to then publicly start beef online still feels suspicious. Again, I don't believe *either* of them is innocent here or that either of them is a good person. This whole situation just gives "Let's use the drama for views and followers"-vibes.
Yes, that's true. But a person who tends to react this way usually is avoiding confrontation/discomfort. They would be far more likely to reach out to the stylist directly than to take to the internet and stir up as much shit as they can over it. I don't buy this explanation at all in her case. But yes, people can and do react that way, myself included. I've gone back to salons days after a service I was unsatisfied with because it took me that long to get the courage to do so. And also in her case she literally lost nothing. Her hair looked way better, she got a free trip to LA, and didn't lose any money over this.
Her hair is very splotchy and uneven. My main thing was him knowing what she wanted but said he didn't get sponsored for the hair extensions. So he basically admitted he's out of nothing. It was all for views
But like since he’s helping out I feel like he doesn’t have to pay for her long extentions. It’s not very business smart for him to paying for extensions when he payed for her flight. Yea I think he did get views but I also think he also had an intention to help some who couldn’t afford it
@@jerushathomas6580But then why wouldn't he have told her that before she came? He knew exactly what she wanted, knew he wasn't going to do it, and flew her out anyway, without telling her her wasn't going to do the extensions. Clearly she had other offers for help with her hair because the second place did exactly what she wanted. It wasn't just the extensions, though, he did a bad job. Lots of professional hair stylists in the comments are pointing out things he did wrong when colouring and cutting her hair. He didn't listen to what she wanted, and never told her her wasn't going to do what she wanted... that's shady.
I feel like you could see in her face, even though she said she “loved it”, she truly hated it and was fighting tears. She may not have wanted to say anything because she wanted to be kind?
I've been licensed since 1995 I've worked in high end salons and salons that are average income salons I'm in the average income bracket so trust me I understand not being able to drop $100's of dollars on getting services . Whenever I had a client who was unhappy with a service I learned to ask what don't you like how can I make this better even if it meant I wasn't getting paid but most times going above and beyond the clients expectations I retained that client not because I did free services but because I made it right by listening and asking the right questions before even touching the client . I'm very through with consultations . All stylist aren't bad some of us love what we do and care about our clients
Hello I’m a salon owner/ stylist of 10 years! It’s crazy to me how TikTok has blown up so many hairdressers that are not even good hairdressers. I can tell you right now based off of what he used, he didn’t fill the hair. ( which basically means adding back natural pigment so Brown’s like more vivid.) and he definitely used like a 10 minute color. Her poor hair looks so patchy. She could’ve done it at home with a box color. It’s really embarrassing as a hairdresser to hear people complaining about their experiences and how they weren’t listen to their appointment and I feel so bad when I hear this and I’ll common it is.
Her smile was so forced and you could see she was trying to hold in her disappointment and be grateful, I can also understand how she felt hurt when instead of addressing his work. She could have felt like he placed the blame on her that his mediocre work was very fault. That hurt could have been the straw they broke the camel's back. And the fact that the second hair stylist was able to accomplish her request says a Lot
Las time i went to a hair stylist i wasn't expecting much. I'm mixed race and my hair is dry, and had been damaged from years of me and my mum not knowing how to style or take care of it, and just tying it back or straightening it. The few times i went to salons, all the workers' eyes always go wide and they kind of hate having to deal with it, especially when they learn i have allergies that makes it impossible for them to use a lot of their products. But this girl working there saw me, got this really serious look on her face and refused to let anyone else touch my hair. She was fresh out of school, and she even stayed after hours to help me, and said that the others would just do it as quickly as possible, as they were an older generation who hadn't been taught to deal with my hair type as she had. 5 hours i was there. And not only did she give me the confidence to have short hair, but she managed to give me back my childhood locks, too. I cried at the end, i was so thankful. And all that for 60 bucks as well, which here in Switzerland, is fucking INSANE for my hair type.
The thing that gets me is she did get extensions, and her hair was that length before Phillip cut it. So, what gives🥴 Why wouldn't they have just left it and styled it? I'm torn, but the fact that she was saying how she loved it until all the comments started flowing in about how others didn't. They definitely influenced her opinion. Had the comments been primarily praising her hair, I guarantee this wouldn't be an issue right now.
@@makingchanges5943If it's very damaged, the absolute best you can do is start over. Chop it short! Used products that have shea butter in them, or coconut oil. I'm still figuring things out myself!
I thought the evidence was gonna be her him actually paying attention to her or something but the “evidence” was just her saying she loved it? Come on dude I can’t say how many times I’ve sat in a salon going “I love it…😅”
Personally, when you offer a gift, you should give it without strings. The other person doesn't "have" to like it because they "should be grateful" when she didn't ask you to do this. And pretty objectively the cut wasn't what she wanted :/
The main issue is that he made her think he could do extensions, and then once he had her in a vulnerable position (in HIS studio, in HIS video) he then turned around and changed the deal. Super red flag behavior. Very very VERY manipulative.
@@yes2hvn Sure, he can say everything he wants at this point. When you have a bad experience with a stylist, the last thing you want is fuck around and find out AGAIN. All this petty drama in the end but you could see her smile was very pained when they showed her the final. She looked the opposite of what she wanted, and it aged the shit out of her. It was just a bad color (and cut).
As a hairstylist, if someone’s hair is that compromised I would never go in with any kind of bleach after that, the hair is not gonna lift correctly and It’s more prone damage, especially after putting another round of color on it. if she wanted highlights the only thing I would suggest is adding highlights with extensions.
It bothered me when this went down that people called her entitled. Like yeah, it was amazing she was offered this but frankly Alfredo obviously didn't have the skill and was using this as an opportunity for clout and sponsorship. I hate my hair short, so if this happened to me and someone said they could save my long hair then said they couldn't do so because it wasn't sponsored it would be really disappointing. It was obvious how she felt in the 'reveal' video and I truly think if people hadn't been commenting on how patchy it was and the confusion about how that all happened she probably would've just not said anything and chalked it up to a bad experience like many of us have in this past. I hadn't seen the second salon reveal before your video and I'm so happy for her! She looks gorgeous and it's clear how she feels about it.
My thought is, she's not entitled at all - he OFFERED, and she accepted his offer. She didn't ask for a free hair repair, let alone from him or any other well-known stylist. He definitely benefited from featuring her on his profile, while she didn't get what she wanted (thought it was an improvement). The videos from his salon all show me a woman who's doing her best not to sob, to just be nice and get out as fast as she can so she can go home. Her smiles never touch her eyes, and she's very still and small sitting in her chair. As for her trashing the other companies, I believe both of them - he probably started it by saying the stuff she reported he did, and she ran with it to be agreeable and also as a way to vent her frustration that she wasn't going to get the extensions he'd promised.
Everyone treated her so entitled and it blew my mind! There was an entire comment section saying she "should have known her hair couldn't handle extensions which is why he didn't give them to her" but Alfredo *promised them!* Which mean he doesn't even know that HIMSELF
@@gracesblythe that and how in every part (there's like 4 parts of this series) they kept comparing her to a Kardashian, spent more time revealing what products they used since they were sponsored, looking into the camera, and not even directly speaking to her or acknowledging her besides her hair. And even in his language, he kept saying what he wanted to do with her hair and not what she wanted
@@goingferalluvs I kinda find it disturbing that they kept comparing her to other women as if she's not an individual herself, especially since she self-awared about her similarities to Kylie and actually disliked to be compared like that :""
The second hairstyle looks stunning! And apart from the hair and just looking at her - she looks so much happier! My first thought looking at videos on the first transformation - she looks awkward and like she’s forcing a smile not knowing what to do and that was before I knew what she wanted, I thought maybe it’s just the styling that doesn’t suit her. But with the second salon? She looks so genuinely excited and happy, the smile isn’t just siting on her face, she’s laughing, she’s looking from different angles, completely different atmosphere.
In careers that are majority women-occupied, you see people like him a lot who get very far by being mediocre at best. I’ve been a hairstylist for almost 15 years now and I’m ngl I’ve always felt that Alfredo is very subpar skill-wise and he’s always been very fickle with the brands, flirting with several only to drop them immediately for a better offer. I feel he is more focused on money and notoriety than his craft. The best lesson I ever learned from my job is to under-promise and over-deliver. Never ever mislead your client or get their hopes up about goals that could very well be unrealistic for them.
My mom has self admittedly been fed up with her hair like 3 times in the last 15 years and shaved her head and she remembers when she was younger and her hair was much more intrinsic to her self image; once she got a bad perm and she sobbed that evening. She was in college. Now she reflects back on it and rebuffs herself saying all she had to do was get her hair wet.
Taylor is just like me, I'll say "I love it" multiple times in the chair to try to get the appointment to finish sooner so I can go in my car and cry. I feel like it's easy to tell if someone really loves their hair, or if someone is really trying to spare your time/effort and be grateful even if they don't like it.
I'm a hairdresser that specializes in color correction, i think as far as cut and color and saving hair on her head they did great, when you have that much damage it's hard to even get a color to stick to it. Yep. These comments by non hairstylists are laughable. With hair in that condition, the options were SO limited and she needs so much ongoing hair care and in salon treatments before that fragile, grossly over processed can even handle the weight of the extensions she showed in those pics. I would tell my client no initially for so many reasons. People are so unrealistic in believing one can just color correct hair in that condition so easily. I left the biz a year ago and I've never been happier😂
You can tell days after she got it fixed by the second person, the toner is washing out fast. It's gotta be quite porous from all that damage. So I don't think they had an easy canvas. I also do think their technique seemed rushed and out dated though. Both things can be true
@@rebeccamueller8790right? Just because the 2nd salon was able to do what she wanted doesn’t mean they should have. There’s no way I would have put extensions in either. Plus she wanted them long when her thick ass hair was to her chin. You’d have to use SO many and blending them would be a bitch, not to mention putting all that traction in n hair that damaged. Another thing non hairdressers don’t know about it is the client who loves it but then goes home and their boyfriend or mom tells them they hate it and they come back in tears like it’s your fault. I’ve seen people in the comments talking about being introverts and not wanting to say they don’t like it but ya girl was GUSHING about loving it. There’s a difference and most hairstylists who’ve been at it long enough can tell when you’re lying to us. So many things could have happened behind the scenes here that we don’t know about. They probably explained to her that extensions were a bad idea but then she left and someone else gave her a differing opinion so she thinks stylist A was just bullshitting her. Part of our job is telling you when you shouldn’t do something to your hair and most hairstylists are making less money in order to protect YOUR hair. Social media and all these DIY fools have people convinced what we do is easy and anyone can do it and the fact is ya’ll don’t know shit and that’s why that girl was in that situation in the first place.
My issue is she was told that she could have extension and they even put some in her hair, but "didn't want to add length" I'm not a hair stylist but is there a difference between the short and long extentions? If he thought he couldn't put in long extensions/extensions in general, he should have said that.
@@pdw1230 yes.. The weight difference between short and long extensions is dramatic, and also to provide length, they will need to install a lot more hair, which adds considerable weight. With short extensions, to add fullness, that can range from just a few small sections on up, and the hair weighs less due to length as well. Some people with extensions to add fullness, may only have a few short pieces on the sides, so it's really hard to know how much they put in.. She looked like she had thick hair, so I don't think they'd want to put in a lot
I tend to block out when content creators start arguing, I'm not interested in other ppls drama... but I will say, the second go around is a stunning transformation and I'm glad she finally got what she truly wanted
Yes many don’t even want to WASH clients hair anymore. In my community many expect ppl to pay $150+ for a style not including wigs or adding extensions and they want ppl to come already “prepped”(meaning washed, dried and even some out straighten) which is wild because if many ppl could do all that they would just do everything!! I remember when going to the salon was like a spa and they prided themselves on doing everything because that all was apart of real HAIR CARE.
Something I've seen literally no one discuss is the possibility that she DID love the style, until the comments started coming in, because that can happen. I've had it happen to me. So, years back I went to someone to get my hair done. I 100% didn't get what I asked for, but when talking with the stylist, she had this idea of something she thought would look great, and I decided I'd trust her judgement, even though it wasn't what I originally asked for. And I absolutely loved it.... until I my friends started sharing their opinions with me. But it's not what I wanted? This wasn't what I was talking about. Why didn't I speak up? Why do stylists insist on not listening to their clients, because this is awful... Let me tell you, I went from loving something that wasn't what I wanted, but was so much better than I thought it would be to starting to hate it and feel really awful about it because everyone got in my head about it. I was so incredibly upset. The style was awful. It wasn't what I wanted. I felt so incredibly disappointed... when if no one had said anything about it, I never would have thought twice about it because I thought it was great. I have to wonder if at least some shade of that's what happened here. Personally, I liked her with the shorter style and depending on how she styled it, it could look great. It's entirely possible that she actually did love it, even though it wasn't what she wanted, but when everyone gets in your head like that, it's hard not to second guess yourself. I mean, great that she did get what she wanted in the end, but in reality it sounds like she was perfectly happy with it until the comments started rolling in. This is why I find stuff like this so incredibly toxic, because now we'll never know her genuine feelings on the whole thing, because she was bombarded by people telling her it was awful and wasn't what she wanted and she should be upset. Maybe she still would have hated it in time, and maybe not. We simply can't know, because other people pressured her into hating it because it wasn't what they expected and wasn't what they wanted. It's the downside to living that part of your life online.
I was going to come and comment on the same thing. Especially when in the one video she said she did not like the cut but the color was good, then she says you guys are right, look how patchy it is.
Yeah, that's what I was thinking, too. Especially considering the fact that the day after, she was still talking about how much she loved it and how great it looked.
As a former hairstylist, I agree with this. How many times did I give a woman what they asked for, they went home and their husband/boyfriend/friend Said something or they *thought* someone looked at them weird and now they want to go back to what it was like before 😏 some people have no self confidence and their satisfaction rides on how ppl respond to their new look. And that's sad AF honestly
Idk who’s lying but I can for sure say that the smile during the “botched” session was a fake “I’m gonna cry about how much I hate my hair when I get in the car” smile and the fixed session was an honest smile after you got a good hair do
It’s really funny, I’ve always thought this and experienced it. I am Singaporean and the “big” branded salons has never cut my hair the way I wanted. They only think about hair trends and upselling more services by making comments about my hair vs what I wanted and what would look good on me. And when I went to smaller niche salons, they never make any comments about my hair and always realistically tell me what they can do with my hair according to my hair texture, face shape and my daily hair habits.
Same here in my country lol. I was lucky to find a really good hairstylist who knew how to work with my hair (very fine strands but also 2C-3B curly) and she was from a large salon brand. Lately tho I found out that she moved overseas. I tried their other stylist in the salon and that was a huuuuge mistake. Probably gonna try out the smaller, not corporate own salons near me next time.
@@hyldrklein451 oh! I get what you mean. I had one stylist who I love so much but he closed down his salon. Then luckily I found another stylist, she is the only one who can cut my hair a certain way but she moved too. Tried another stylist but they just can’t cut my hair like she did. And now I’m just trying my luck to find another stylist like those 2 but no luck.
@@nerdee89 fingers crossed we find a new one soon thats actually good. Especially for me, its a nightmare to find a stylist who actually knows how to deal with curly hair. So ofcourse it shrunk and it ended up just below my ears… He cut a huge chunk right off the bat too. 🤦♀️ I specifically told him I just want an inch or 2 off to get rid of the fried bleached ends. That haircut was 2months ago and I still cry about it. My hair was about 3 inches above the tailbone when straightened before I had my haircut. 😭
@@hyldrklein451 oh no!!! I totally get it. That personally have not happened to me but if it’s any help, my best friend had her hair rebonded 7 years ago and this person completely botched it. My bestie’s hair was.. hhmm.. it became really hard. She can’t even brush through her hair for a really long time and since it’s damaged, her hair took so long to grow out.
One of the unfortunate things that I really feel for her for,is that her hair was already at the breaking point, and now she can’t really do much more to it to fix it for however long it takes her to grow it out- even if she wants to. I know how hard it can feel when you don’t feel good about some part of yourself, and you just have to leave it the way it is and feel not good every time you see your own reflection
My sister and now my niece are both professional hair stylists people. First off: I had NO CLUE how hard cosmetology school was! Like the science and chemistry is just… oof. The whole classroom/book part is just INSANE. I have a whole new respect for them both tbh. I never could have done it. I will never dye my hair myself again. I’m so lucky I still have hair.😮😊 Second: my sister lives for the “if you don’t look good I don’t look good and I’ll feel like complete shit until I can get you 110% happy with your hair” so I can’t IMAGINE a stylist let alone a “TikTok stylist” letting someone walk out of their salon for good without doing all they can to make her happy and her hair healthy. How do you expect to get an honest answer from someone with a camera shoved in their face. And couldn’t he read her face?! Or at least ask her off camera, make sure she’s happy and 100% satisfied OFF camera… Just 🤷♀️🤦♀️??
I haven't let a hair stylist touch my hair since I was 17, I am now 41. No doubt there are some really good stylists out there but my hair is really precious to me and I just don't want to take the risk. Not to mention the insane prices being asked these days. I do my own hair as well ^^
@@IMV83 yeah when I stopped it was also because I felt kinda mislead by one and was like "if it's THIS expensive for THESE results...I can do it myself"
I’ve been doing my own hair since I was 16. I’ve learned a lot about hair styling and how my hair behaves (shoutout to Guy Tang). If someone else messes up my hair, it’s upsetting. But if I mess up my hair, it’s somehow less upsetting because I’m in control. Ive done every hair color under the sun, I’ve also buzzed my head on a whim lol. To me it’s just hair, it’ll grow back. I have so much respect for hairdressers and their craft but at this point in my life it’s cheaper and easier for me to do my own hair.
I definitely do my hair and it comes out pretty great. I've bleached my hair a dozen times and done ombre etc. It's actually pretty fun! But it can go bad if you don't know what you're doing.
Makes me glad I’m not an influencer and I don’t have millions of people watching all of my business. I got some terrible full foil highlights because the stylist didn’t understand my hair type very well, all I did was complain to friends and switched salons…
Look, I feel like if you offer to do a service for free, you are still obligated to do the best you can do and provide good service. That might just be me, but I guess I believe if you offered to do a service no matter how much you agree to get paid or not paid, you should still want to provide the best service you can. I’m an attorney and just because a case might be pro bono, doesn’t mean I’m allowed to half ass it.
I've watched a few videos about this, before she went to the second salon. Still had to watch yours to hear what you had to say! Her hair looked INCREDIBLE in the end and I hope Alfredo is embarrassed. Don't understand why he couldn't have done that in the first place?
I have done both mine and my daughter’s hair at home for about 10 years now. Together, we’ve probably done almost every color under the sun- I’ve done her hair green, ocean, red, multi colored; and me purple, red, green, blue… we’ve had a lot of fun and I learned so much ( I’m not a hairdresser). I’m introverted and to speak up at a salon would have killed me. I once had a hairdresser give me a mullet -literally- while saying she had layered my hair! I cried so hard at home but to her face I acted fine because I didn’t want to hurt her feelings or make her upset. I had to go to another salon to fix it, and even he was like, oh boy this is going to be a challenge 😂
Great video, however you missed a ton of information. For instance, after Taylor got her hair transformed she actually posted videos prasing Alfredo and team and personally texted thank you messages to them. She was happy with the hair cut until people pointed out that it aged her. I am not taking Alfredos side but sometimes damged hair cannot hold a ton of extensions (which would be necessary if she wanted length). I just think Taylor was in wrong for blasting them over internet when this could have been a personal conversation. However thats just my opinion🤷🏻♀️
I’m a hairstylist, personally if someone came to me wanting extensions with hair that damaged I would feel uncomfortable trying to add all the weight to such at risk hair. And extensions are wildly expensive, expecting multiple packs of long length extensions for free that she admitted to being unable pay to get or to maintain…. Like I’m 8 weeks was she going to pay to have the extensions re-set? Idk. I think she had unrealistic expectations given the starting point. That being said, obviously the consultation needed to involve under promising and over performing. He really should have explained more and given her proper expectations.
That guy’s final response to Taylor video is classic DARVO… It’s not even subtle, it’s textbook emotional abuse. And she looked so uncomfortable in that video where he said she was happy!!! Like I’m autistic watching an edited video and even I could tell. I’ve lied to hairstylists many times either to persuade them to stop messing with my hair or because I was too uncomfortable with them to be honest so I don’t blame her. And when they did it for free with a camera in your face too?! That’s so much pressure... No wonder it took her some time to speak up. Also the way he got so angry over being blocked is crazy to me! That’s someone who’s mad he didn’t get to control how things ended, not someone whose mental health is breaking and desperately wants it to stop.
yeah if he actually cared or was intersted in her hair health he could've easily reached out via dm. throwing out brand & celeb stylist names as buzz words or saying "all of my FOLLOWERS KEPT BOMBARDING ME!"
I know this is an old comment but my god can we stop accusing everyone who has a less-than-perfect reaction to something of being abusive? Really? DARVO? Dude everyone sucks in this situation, but if you were trying to promote your craft and collaborate with someone and then got dragged on social media for your work unexpectedly you think you'd respond so perfectly that no one would criticize you? I don't have any affection for this stylist, I don't know him and IDGAF about anyone in this situation but I hate that people just say things normal people say when they're a bit fired up or feeling attacked and randos on the internet start throwing around literal *abuse* accusations as if being emotionally abused is as simple and mundane as an unpleasant internet confrontation, come on.
Little late here buttt I’ve been a cosmetologist for 17 years and I can definitely tell you the shutdown really affected the industry and yes some become lazy but also the students that happened to be in school learned everything from home and oh boy I’ll tell you what watch out it’s bad out here
It feels like they didn't do enough fill color. I've been bleaching my hair for a while now (I started with a pixie so if I messed it up there wasn't much to mess up) and while it isn't ideal, but to go from blonde to dark you apparently are supposed to fill removed colors, but then again my education is 100% Google. 😂 Also, you could tell he was 100% only using sponsored brands. She should have come out of there with a "sponsored by" tshirt like from a charity event. The second salon did amazing. As for dude and his "receipts" l have left hair appts that I paid for and not complained if I didn't like something. I know tons of other people have too because you feel pressured that you're taking too long or being too needy. To add to that if someone was doing it for "free" I would have never and I would imagine she felt the same way at first.
Best hair stylist I ever had was seriously from a great clips. I walked in wanting Shakira hair (circa la tortura video) and the girl stared at the picture, reached out, touched my hair and said, "I can do that, but I want to warn you that your hair will not look like hers. You have very different hair types." (Mine being 2b/2c) She continued on and we settled on Kate Winslet in Titanic, which I have the same hair color and it looked great! I still remember that lady, and this was about ten to fifteen years ago.
Great vid. I have left many salons in tears because of the treatment I have received for speaking up when the stylist didn't like what I had to say about my cut. Now I just am too terrified to speak up and receive bad service. So i completely empathize with saying you love it in the chair and then going home and having a crisis over it. Hair is so deeply personal and a part of our identity as an individual person.
Hey everyone. I’m a stylist of 12 years hopefully you all can learn from this and as you can see, just because you go to a fancy salon, does not mean you’re going to get a good hairstylist with experience. You can go to a smaller, less expensive salon and get an amazing hairstylist! I’ve worked in high end salons and seen stylists not know what they’re doing and I’ve worked in chain salons and seen some amazing work. Do not judge a book by its cover!!
I am a cosmetology student (I graduate at the end of the month and already have a job lined up so those are qualifications to talk about this) when she has already fried hair, coloring it, then LIGHTENING it again is very very very bad for hair. Also k18 isnt, amazing. Especially on extremely damaged hair. Redken CAT treatment or a chem shot by Redken, as well as bond rx by Paul Mitchell??? So so so much better. Also why would you get extensions if you don’t get it longer. Like that sounded like a load of crap on the stylists part. Also her hair was already light enough where he could have done lowlights as he was coloring the darker WITHOUT adding more bleach on. He clearly took advantage of her and the final outcome looked like a student who had their first client ever.
My main question is how do we know his receipts are actually interactions with Taylor? I'm so suspicious with screenshots because if you crop it right it could be an exchange between anyonne....
I have to say, I made a 3 hour drive to visit a hair salon from TikTok and it was everything I hoped it would be. So there are good ones out there! Thairapy Curly Hair Salon in Pasadena. 10/10
This wasn’t a normal stylist/client interaction. This was two influencers doing a project for social media. He invited her, she agreed. I think she had unrealistic expectations that her damaged hair would be magically fixed, and had a major case of sour grapes knowing he got paid. If she knows her worth and what she brings to the table, she needed to bring a contract. 🤷♀️
It would be different if she didn't fully explain what she wanted. He knew she wanted extensions and just DIDN'T. Sometimes getting the hair color you want takes multiple sessions and he did his job in an hour and sent her on her way. It came out patchy and it was on him to tell her why/how it happened (she had previous dye) and that she needed another session. Or just explained during the consultation that uneven spots/lift are common with home dye jobs. He had way more benefit than she would because he had brand connections, sponsorships and the social media credit of helping out someone with a trending video. He would have been able to build loyalty with any newfound following, been on good terms with brands and benefit from any potential monetization. Other stylists reached out to her to help her, too! The benefit in terms of viewership that she would have had would have been mainly from onlookers seeking a conclusion to her problems. You can't build a social media career off of that.
@@sumlem "It would be different if she didn't fully explain what she wanted" To add on, it'd be different if he did also CONFIRM that that's what he was going to do before getting her to his studio, only to change the plan once he has her in a vulnerable position.
Her hair is always gonna look amazing out of the chair….but her base is basically straw with a demi brown on it and some extensions at the end….it will look great if she goes in for daily blow outs….
I just had my hair chopped off against my will 2 months ago by a professional stylist and I still cry about it. I have 2C-3B curly hair and when straightened, it reaches to about 3inches above my tailbone. I asked for a 2-3inch trim just to get off the fried bleached ends. That would make my hair just a bit past shoulder length in its natural, curly state. He pulled my hair down and cut it shoulder length. So yes, when he let go, it shrunk and was about 2 inches ABOVE my shoulder. 🤦♀️ He cut off a huge chunk too right off the bat so there was no going back. I specifically asked him if he had experience working with my hair type and he said yes. For f*cks sake. Why can’t people just be honest about what they can or cannot do.
I kind of wonder if she liked it at first and then when she saw all the comments of people saying they thought it was bad she was influenced by them and she changed her mind....
Honestly all her texts after are what’s throwing me off. Like I get maybe faking like it cause you don’t like confrontation, but know that after you do that, you can’t turn around and say you don’t like it. You just gotta bite the bullet. Cause even if you were just being nice in the beginning and then decided to be honest, no one is gonna believe it now.
I do tend to agree, at some point you have to just respectfully point out "hey, I wanted to be grateful and kind in the moment but after seeing it unstyled and in different lighting, I'm not a huge fan!" Or in the chair it would have been helpful to say "hey I thought we discussed me wanting long hair and NOT a bob, is this possible?". I understand ppl have anxiety, And cannot handle confrontation but if you want someone to give you what they want it can help to be as honest as you can. They're gonna try their best to explain or answer your concerns and give you what you want if you speak up. Let it be a collaboration moment and not a confrontation if possible. Hairstylists cannot read your mind. That being said, this whole drama could have been avoided if she just went to the second stylist the first time around so I am sure she has regrets and I don't want to pile on or hate on her. I do believe Alfredo's techniques are as old as he is and he may have rushed, and bit off more than he could chew. I deep down believe he used her to promote the products with her face.
The guy definitely doesn’t look 50!!!! P.S: I thought I saw them putting hair extensions in, just not long ones - I think I saw the tape at the top. 🤷🏻♀️
For him to hardly talk to her, not give her anything CLOSE to what she wanted, AND talk about how much money he was going to make off of her while doing a sloppy job is insane
I've never bleached my hair myself, I usually have my mum do it; and she is the only person I let touch my hair. Since I was 13 I've cut and styled my hair because I don't trust others to do it. So, adding any chemicals that lighten it I let my mum do and it is rare to lighten my hair because I don't want something like this to happen.
Those guys played in her hair. The ladies at the second salon did a wonderful job and I can tell that their customer service was much better. Just because someone has a lot of followers does not make them the best at what they do.
I actually can't believe you are in your early twenties, I'm 26 and love love love your videos so much. loving you queen thank you for the fire content as always ❤🌺
You can see the difference between her reaction first time and the second time, when second time it was genuine happiness. I had my hair messed up a lot at the salon, but I am introvert with an anxiety, so I always just smiled with tears on my eyes and just wanted to run away, and cry at home. So I could understand why she didn’t say anything at first
You can see the difference in her reaction after! As a stylist you have to learn to read your clients because they really won’t always tell you if you hate it
I get people pleasing and pretending you like something, I've been there. But you can't then turn around and publicly talk about how much you hate the thing without even addressing it with the person who did it for you. She didn't even give him a chance to explain himself or apologize or anything before blasting him online, I'm sure he was completely blindsided.
This is exactly the comment I was going to leave. My thing is 1) at some point people gotta grow up and do the hard things even though they make us uncomfortable…EVERYONE can’t be afraid to speak up. 2) if she had all that energy she could have messaged him privately or called him. But for social media influencers, everything is content.
My thing is, if she knows that it was going to be a free service from another influencer then she should understand that the service will be paid for somehow whether it will come out of the influencer’s pockets or paid by sponsors. But everything else was problematic
I was a Miss Clairol 110 or 112 depending on my mood. I did my own from junior hair in high school until my early 50s, when my chronic pain made it hard for me to hold my arms up.
Your mom checking if you want something she isn’t 100% using is ageless! My siblings and I are in our late 30s and we all keep a pile of clothes for each other to review before donating. A lot of times donated clothes just ends up in the garbage at least if you check with a family member or loved one they can actually take what they will use! Most of my pjs are from my grandmother who passed away almost 10 years ago. The ones that the elastic is lost or can’t be worn, I turned into quilts for family members. Glad we can all love a new cute item as well as making sure the stuff we already have doesn’t end up right in the trash!
I can understand saying you like the hair when you don’t - Especially if you’re an introvert… I had to move and went to a new salon. I have an undershave. And I went in asking for it and had a reference photo of it. In the photo it shows there is a small stubble left and blends into the bottom of the long hair. The new salon literally shaved it off - shaved it bare because she “forgot to add the guard”. Literally what she said… I just said it’s okay… I like it because I sleep hot (fun fact - I am always freezing now after losing over 150 lbs). Had to pay $55 for a 5 minute undershave I hated… Found a new salon when I needed it recut a few months later - and they used a 1” guard and it was perfect. And only pay $16. In a way wish I wasn’t as introverted and afraid of conflict because I would’ve said something to the first salon and maybe fight to not pay that much. But I just hate confrontation and just moved to a new area alone without knowing anyone and also didn’t want to ruffle feathers. So I can understand just saying you like something when in reality you don’t…
Every time his videos come up on my feed i always think his work looks awful 😅 and i know he’s generally coming in and doing corrections on people ….but it’s genuinely not good correction work IMO.
Did they do a great job? No. Did the other person successfully do her extensions? Oh yeah. Did she change her hair back to black like a few days ago? Yeah. Does it suspiciously seem like her hair isn’t blending ass well anymore and maybe the upkeep was too much? Yeah. That’s probably why they’re recommended her the bob. Time will tell I guess.
I can't wait for my appointment with my stylist next week to get her take on all of this. She does color corrections and balayage and has won awards for her work. I think this whole thing is just so strange.
I do my hair at home (full bleach and toner), but I have done A LOT of research on my own, and I wanted to go to cosmetology school for years. I wouldn't recommend bleaching your hair at home for most people because it is a very harsh chemical.
His work was sloppy BUT she did lie and say he didn’t give her extensions when he did. They out in tape in extensions but decided to cut them short instead of keeping them long, bad choice on his part since her references were all long hair. She said he didn’t use extensions bc the brand wasn’t paying him, yet in his video he shows using extensions… makes me believe that yes he did not completely fulfill what she asked for, but she might also be lying about the nature of the appointment.
How did she say she liked the color then 1-2 minutes later she called it patchy? This is the second reaction I watched about this. I think they’re both messy.
i think that she said it was patchy once the root melt began to fade. it does look okay i think at the start, but in her later videos you can see the super brassy tones. i agree they’re both messy tho
I’ve been a hairstylist for 30 years. I’m gonna make this short once hair is fried you stop with the chemicals you couldn’t pay me enough! toners even scare me with fried hair because the hair is compromised. It runs right through the hair I have seen it my whole career Periodically somebody will come in with dead hair and there’s nothing I can do. We can cover it with extensions even then that’s pulling on the hair. It’s just dangerous. The only thing that heals dead hair is time. I hate using this analogy with overprocessed her but once you overcook meat chicken for instance you can put it in a stew or you could put it in soup and it’s still dry. It’s gone.
As a hair stylist I will NOT let my clients leave unless they are 💯 happy! It makes no sense to let that happen! Bc you need them to want to come back and want to spread the word of how much they like it to bring in more clientele! Also, i dont want someone leave my chair looking ratchet with my name attached to that! Like come on!
I think she was grateful for them flying her out and making her hair better- because it was loads better than the bad bleach hair. BUT I think once the relief of "okay this is better" and "they were nice to do this without asking for money" wore off she realized it still wasn't what she wanted/she had asked for something different. You can be grateful for the help/improvement and still say they didn't keep to their word/do the quality you expected.
My hair color + cut is complicated, so I go to a salon to get it done and my stylist is always on point. I wanted streaks of white, she told me my box dyed red hair would take a LOT to lift out and it would be a process, and it was. Expectations and what was going to happen were always transparent and realistic and bc I know she goes to classes and has earned her stripes, so to speak, paying a little more for quality work is understandable. Any time I've needed something corrected (a grand total of once) she made time for me to come in the following day to fix it. Open communication, knowing talent limits and the limits of the clients hair and willingness to take a loss if you mess up is super simple and easy to do.
Sadly a lot of hairstylists are like this now. They all want to be “hairfluencers.” They don’t actually care about what the client wants, it’s all for the gram or TikTok. Very disappointing. Also, they charge outrageously! And make comments like “if you can’t afford me, then you can’t afford luxury.” I’ve literally seen comments like that! Disgusting!!!
When I was 19ish I bleached my hair to spaghetti strands to get blue/purple hair. I literally didn't care and still heat styled it EVERY DAY. It never fell out but I was lucky since my hair is thick 😅 makes me nervous thinking about it but it was an adventure lol
This seems like such a case of miscommunication. She should have been a bit less entitled and or been more honest. He should have been VERY clear about what he is going to be able to do any why. He also seems like a "I know best" regardless of what the client wants kind of person. It just seems like a mad mix of people, it seems sketchy on both sides.
I feel like Taylor communicated exactly what she wanted in the beginning. He agreed that he could and would do everything she wanted. I don't think she's entitled for believing the stylist would deliver what he promised. Alfredo also didn't lose any money on that situation. A brand flew her out and put her up in a hotel. The entire video was sponsored. Yes, Taylor could have said she was unhappy while she was in the chair, but really who hasn't lied to their stylist when they've fucked up their hair. I have tipped a stylist that fucked my hair so badly that my only choice was to shave it.

Every single time I went to a hair salon I got my hair botched. I'm an introvert, in the moment you don't speak up. You say you love it and then go home and cry. The one time I told a hair stylist I didn't like it she got real mad and treated me like crap.
The best thing I did was to learn how to do my own hair tbh
sorry you had that experience! hairstylists should be able to take criticism, seriously :// how else will they improve?
same! I've had to walk out of salons to avoid getting into it with stylists because they just straight up refused to cut my hair short enough. Its MY HAIR if I want it short then CUT IT SHORT especially if I'm paying you!
That's your problem.. you don't speak up
@@CrustyUgg did you finish reading her comment?
Exactly.
20 times?
@@JewelApril13girl i thought you meant your child 😭 why you speaking for your husband and crying over HIS hair
To get a cosmetology license, you just need to prove that you can sanitize the supplies and station, it's not actually about skill.
But this drama is the kind of stuff of my nightmares with social media and being dragged.... eeeek
This!!
@@manic_girl yeah that was VERY questionable
The second salon absolutely killed it. Looks amazing.
And you can see the difference in her reaction.
After seeing how beautiful the 2nd time came out, the first salon did not try very hard. It looks like she went to a cosmetology school to get it done.
She was so happy in the second salon. Her smile made me smile. You could tell she was trying not to cry in the first one.
His balayage technique literally doesn’t make sense at all.. it’s always thick and splotchy looking on application and he must do extra work off camera to cover up his sloppy work 😒🙄
People like him tarnish this industry and the rest of us stylists who go out of our way to do our job with diligence and integrity
I had a feeling he was more off than she was. I was leaning towards her being more truthful.
Exactly! He was too lazy to dry her hair so he did balayage and wet hair!!?? That is the craziest shit I’ve ever seen!!
I am a hairstylist, and doing balayage on WET hair is absolutely ridiculous!! the point of balayage is that it sits on top of the hair and gives a sun kiss, but when the hair is wet, it will bleed into the rest of it and make it stripe and uneven
Which is exactly what it looked like in the end.
But e hthrttr s😅
I was literally thinking how her face seemed to get more and more depressed
Yeah she def looked upset to me. Not a believable “I love it”
The crazy thing he tried to gaslight everyone and she went to a local stylist who KILLED IT. Her hair and extensions look so good right now
As a hairstylist…YIKES 😭 her inspo color was incredibly reasonable to achieve. I would love to see more videos about hairstylist “influencers” lol
I saw her expression as well, you're right.
And all that for 60 bucks as well, which here in Switzerland, is fucking INSANE for my hair type.
white mom mixed kid fatherless dad
The thing that gets me is she did get extensions, and her hair was that length before Phillip cut it. So, what gives🥴
Why wouldn't they have just left it and styled it? I'm torn, but the fact that she was saying how she loved it until all the comments started flowing in about how others didn't. They definitely influenced her opinion. Had the comments been primarily praising her hair, I guarantee this wouldn't be an issue right now.
This is awesome! Can you offer any advice for another mixed person with similar hair experience? We have no idea where to even start.
I’m so happy for you! Same here!
Come on dude I can’t say how many times I’ve sat in a salon going “I love it…😅”
Even in the text messages too, like yes. People even lie over the internet Alfredo, she was trying to end all contact with you
And saying they flew her out there. You can see HIM say that k18 (the product/brand sponsor) covered travel. Sir.
The second hair is so much better
The long hair is amazing
That was exactly what she asked for with the first hairdresser
Personally, when you offer a gift, you should give it without strings. The other person doesn't "have" to like it because they "should be grateful" when she didn't ask you to do this. And pretty objectively the cut wasn't what she wanted :/
I agree with this - but I think this was more of a business transaction for both parties than a gift.
The main issue is that he made her think he could do extensions, and then once he had her in a vulnerable position (in HIS studio, in HIS video) he then turned around and changed the deal.
Super red flag behavior. Very very VERY manipulative.
@@jadecoolness101That's something I don't get why people are defending him. You don't pull that shit with other services
i don’t think he’s saying that tho…he literally said if she was honest then he would’ve known to fly her back out to fix it….
She said it’s giving “Y2K Kelly Clarkson”… I was there Gandalf, I was there 3000 years ago…
So having a choice in what color you're gunna get is a HIGH maybe and hoping the hair stays. As for extensions especially tape ins that can literally break off damaged hair. I professionally would've said no to extensions. Let the hair grow or for 3 months and then we can do extensions. But this drama is the kind of stuff of my nightmares with social media and being dragged.... eeeek
It doesn’t matter if she loved the color or not. Balayage is not a color corrective technique and he should know that as a professional.
exactly
I would really like you to address the hair stylist world in general. This industry has changed so much in the last 10-15 years.
I liked it when it was styled at the salon. Her makeup made her look old imo.
As always the truth is somewhere in the middel and this can be the explaination😊
The last stylist I went to, I asked for a shoulder length cut. He cut my hair shoulder length WHILE PULLING MY HAIR DOWN.
I’m so lucky I still have hair.😮😊
Second: my sister lives for the “if you don’t look good I don’t look good and I’ll feel like complete shit until I can get you 110% happy with your hair” so I can’t IMAGINE a stylist let alone a “TikTok stylist” letting someone walk out of their salon for good without doing all they can to make her happy and her hair healthy. How do you expect to get an honest answer from someone with a camera shoved in their face. And couldn’t he read her face?! Or at least ask her off camera, make sure she’s happy and 100% satisfied OFF camera… Just 🤷♀️🤦♀️??
last time I went to a salon I was 15. I'm now 27 been doing it myself ever since 🤣
oh and btw I go between bleaching and dying it pink every 3-6 months xD never fried my hair off
I haven't let a hair stylist touch my hair since I was 17, I am now 41.
This is why i deleted tiktok
The way she said “Thank you mommy” why did it kinda melt my heart!!
Also, you could tell he was 100% only using sponsored brands.
The brand that he mentioned in the first clip inviting Taylor to come to him - it’s a sponsor! He doesn’t disclose it ever but it is.
Best hair stylist I ever had was seriously from a great clips. I walked in wanting Shakira hair (circa la tortura video) and the girl stared at the picture, reached out, touched my hair and said, "I can do that, but I want to warn you that your hair will not look like hers. You have very different hair types." (Mine being 2b/2c)
She continued on and we settled on Kate Winslet in Titanic, which I have the same hair color and it looked great!
She looks JUST like Kylie Jenner with the new hair, omg.
Yet she said she wanted to avoid that 😅
Alfredo’s final response is giving deflecting. It’s giving ego maniac. He sounds nervous bc he knows he messed up.
Exactly. They both benefited from this drama, including her not liking it after the fact.
@@sumlem "It would be different if she didn't fully explain what she wanted"
To add on, it'd be different if he did also CONFIRM that that's what he was going to do before getting her to his studio, only to change the plan once he has her in a vulnerable position.
Found your channel like 3 days ago. I'm obsessed! Lol
I kind of wonder if she liked it at first and then when she saw all the comments of people saying they thought it was bad she was influenced by them and she changed her mind....
i think she was disappointed from the start bc her goal was to differentiate herself from kylie jenner and the tiktok stylists did the opposite
WOW her hair looks amazing now! I'm not gonna lie, I thought what the guy did was SO ugly, and just not what she wanted.
He gave her extensions AND THEN CUT THEM. Like? Why?
Happy Birthday Isabella!!!! 🎉Happened to play this video today! 😂
Exactly!! Its so shady that she is bashing them on tiktok now
I do tend to agree, at some point you have to just respectfully point out "hey, I wanted to be grateful and kind in the moment but after seeing it unstyled and in different lighting, I'm not a huge fan!" Or in the chair it would have been helpful to say "hey I thought we discussed me wanting long hair and NOT a bob, is this possible?".
He did put in extensions, but he cut them to be the same length as the bob.
So I could understand why she didn’t say anything at first
Whoaa new video. I was hoping you would cover this 🎉
You can see the difference in her reaction after!
@@JessicaJmoneyIm honestly genuinely shocked at the comments
My thing is, if she knows that it was going to be a free service from another influencer then she should understand that the service will be paid for somehow whether it will come out of the influencer’s pockets or paid by sponsors. But everything else was problematic
This is why i don't get caught up with influencers lol
I was a Miss Clairol 110 or 112 depending on my mood. I did my own from junior hair in high school until my early 50s, when my chronic pain made it hard for me to hold my arms up.
The final after with the light brown hair and long extensions looks SO GOOD 😍😍😍
Your mom checking if you want something she isn’t 100% using is ageless!
I can understand saying you like the hair when you don’t - Especially if you’re an introvert…
I had to move and went to a new salon. Had to pay $55 for a 5 minute undershave I hated…
Found a new salon when I needed it recut a few months later - and they used a 1” guard and it was perfect.
Omg I knew I loved your vibe for a reason 😭😭😭 Aries gang girl your birthday is 3 days after mineeee 🥳🥳🥳
Every time his videos come up on my feed i always think his work looks awful 😅 and i know he’s generally coming in and doing corrections on people ….but it’s genuinely not good correction work IMO.
off topic, but oh my goodness i love your background!! the aesthetic is incredible
50?? I would have thought he was much younger as well. Give us your skincare secrets instead of hair drama! Lol
Every time you say your age I'm so impressed. 23yo me would never!
Your critical thinking and communication skills are on point!! ❤❤
I was shocked she’s so young! She’s awesome.
I thought she was at least 26, she's so well spoken
You've never been to a salon, said you liked what they gave you, and then cried in the car over how horrible it looks? Can't relate
I definitely do my own hair color at home, but I WILL NOT do bleach on my own hair because it terrifies me that I will f it up!
The transformation at the end was SOOO much better
