But the point is that it was understandable for how he got to that point and why he feels a certain way to the celestial dragons and the humanity under mariejoa. It was revealed in episode 700, the name of the technique is called Perpetual Youth Surgery and the user of the Op-Op Fruit has to perform some kind of currently unknown feat that would give another person eternal life at the cost of their own life. Also it should be extremally obvious that Corazon doesn't die here. I mean what would even be the point of Law trying to get revenge on Doflamingo if that was the case? And you already know Law has eaten the Op-Op Fruit, which means Corazon succeeded in giving it to Law.
he wanted his kids to be good and decent human beings. maybe naive but he was more decent than most people in this series but look at it this way. because his father did this, rosinante became decent. he passed his will to law. and law was not only saved in his heart but will probably help to save this whole rotten world. it's kind of beautiful
No. I disagree. It was not Doflamingo's father fault. It was the mob fault. They were taking their anger at the wrong people. Imagine this, your grandparents did something bad, and your parents were trying to make amend by befriending the victims. Suddenly they decided to burn your house as revenge, trying to kill your family. Whatever crimes committed by your grandparents, your parents and yourself have nothing to do with it. Another example, my country used to be colonised by the British and my ancestors suffered under British rule. So, if I go with your logic, any British who decided to live in my country should be punished, eventho they have nothing to do with it. It won't bring peace but more hate. People should not be punished for the crime of others. Just because they share the same group or identity (being Black, Mexican, or Muslims etc etc). Punishing a group of people, especially minorities is the very definition of Xenophobia. That is what I get from this scene.
