Great job, looks very impressive. Just a small thought... next to the steps would be a slopped tow path on one side of the lock from when the barges would have been pulled by horses, but this is your layout and looks just fine as is
Great Observation, I've looked at a number of pictures over last couple of days and that is on my todo list to fix. Also may not be noticeable in the video, but the side wall ladders also need white railings on the tops.
Just found your channel. Great idea having a lock on the railway. Look forward to more.
Very nice, thanks for sharing. Dave
Fantastic job! Initially I was concerned that you made it functional. Glad you haven't made that deep dive yet.

Thanks, yes would be tough for a horse to get up those steps, I'll get out the sculptamold!
Nice job steve. I don`t know if you have a 3D printer but I think there`s some narrow boats on thingiverse.
Yes I have and I have already downloaded a couple, I'll have to print in two halves, but it's on the "roundtouit" list.
Fantastic job so many ideas for mine if u get chance to check out great video
The lower lock gates should go into the water, the way it is now a boat can never enter or leave the lower side of the lock.
@@nielsdebakker3283 not according to every lock picture I’ve seen
I like those lock gates, but their hand rails should be painted white, based upon my knowledge of the Grand Union down the hill from me.
