  • I recently found a "Nodding Donkey" (Beam Oil Pump) at my local Menards, part of their Limited Edition HO working Models. I made a minor modification to make it more era ready for my layout and installed and got it working.

Nice gadget. A Rapido Hunslet 0-6-0 saddle tank engine is coming my way, from Rails of Sheffield. She's a plain green engine and named Thorne No. 1. I've also bought a pair of nameplates, from Tay Model Railways ebay site. The engine doesn't like the name Thorne and neither do I, so we've agreed for her to be renamed. Her new name will be Becky. Do you like "Becky" as a Hunslet engine's name?

Wow, it’s really noisy and annoying

The Noise is actually the Alien Spacecraft. I need to install a switch so I can use one without the other.
