When doing oil change on any of my vehicles, I always leave the oil fill cap on to prevent exactly your situation. Once it gets flowing, then get up and take oil fill cap off.👍🏻 Nice Tacoma.

The oil that comes with these new engines is break in oil and formulated so that all components wear in a predetermined pattern. By prematurely changing the fluids, you pretty much will glaze all of the mating metals. Read your manuals and do the research before you make your own maintenance plan.

You’re the 1st one to do an oil change video on the new Tacoma, thanks! You learn stuff the first couple times you change it.
