    I’m happy that I bought this cilinder for my house. If it takes an expert picker over 10 mins to pick, a thief has virtually no chance…

    This video I missed back then and it was a blast to watch as if Bill was still making videos about locks and picking.
    He was and is the BEST!!
    Thanks Bill

    I'll wager that a Swiss psychiatrist hired an engineering firm to design a lock that would bring him a steady supply of locksmiths driven to insanity. You're a far more patient man than I am to pick through that beast.

    @Smart Cat Collar Project these locks are stupidly cheap for how good they are. I paid under €90 for 3 cylinders and 6 keys.
    Also the keys are numbered, so you need a special card in order to be able to get more keys or cylinders made.

  • @alaric_
    @alaric_ 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Are there much of these "rules" the picker has to follow? Seemed that after Bill picked the lock and turned the core it wouldn't matter if the lock leaves the screen for a second....

    • @SReject
      @SReject 7 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      The reason for the keep-in-frame rule is too keep pickers from recording the picking of an easier/modified lock of the same brand/model and then slicing in video of gutting the more difficult lock; claiming it was the more difficult lock they picked.
      Do I think Bill would ever do such? No, but everyone plays by the same set of rules.
      Edited: clarity

    hi love the show. you make it look like a fun puzzle or mind game when your working a lock and I think that is just the coolest thing ever, very Zen to watch. just hoping in your next vid if you could explain the point of diffent doings and what they do... after watch other vids and expressly this one I get the false gate and deep gate... but the diffent springs still confuse me... With tension on the core how can you tell a difference really or why the effect mattets.
