Fantastic video as always! Looking forward to your thoughts on HBP I might say this game is actually my favourite in the series, such a great version of Hogwarts to explore, loved assembling the DA then taking down Umbridge, the mini games are fine but I really enjoyed the portrait password tasks, the duelling was a great idea if a little unrefined, I did miss Quidditch but like you said because this game was an adaptation of the film it isn’t in the game, and I did enjoy tracking down all the collectibles but missed the famous witches and wizards cards
Thanks. Yeah I agree. The open world and exploration of this game was fantastic and it did a great job of following the movie's overall narrative. But at the same time several of the features like the combat and the lack of Quidditch and such was a bit of an issue. As for duelling, that was probably the best thing about HBP, they used pretty much the same idea as this game but the duelling is much more refined in HBP. That game is very interesting.
I think the word was how Harry's friends kept getting in the way, having to push past people, and the other Students, staring blankly like the Three Blind Mice look in everyone's Eyes. The details on the Campus were good, but looked like a grainy old video tape when Ported Downscale to run on the limited power of the PS2
I bought the whole series. Just missing the first game. Wasn't a fan of prisoner of askaban and goblet of fire but i can't wait to play the rest i hope this game is worth playing and not a waste of time. Great review! Hopefully hogwarts legacy will be good
I found it more boring than Goblet of Fire, myself. It felt like chore after chore just to find no death eaters fight at the end. I missed fighting creatures instead of the same clumsy Slytherin goons that were down in 3 hits. Seems like most of the budget went to the castle design and paying the actors for voicing, so it's just a good Hogwarts simulator for me.
@@nordicwarriorgaming4953 Filch would have his feet up on his desk, Harry could utilize his own broom 🧹 since he wasn't flying much, collecting Discovery Dust Bunnies, lighting lamps, dealing with Ghost Girl Myrtle's flirtations, who'd wanted to give him a kiss that would have gone straight through him, literally.
I loved this game so much!!! You had so much to do besides the main story and there was so much detail around the castle! I 100% it so many times!
Yeah the open world mechanics are good.

Yeah I have the PS2 version also. Its true the game looked very blurry in that version.
this is EXACTLY what I was hoping for when I google it, thank you! ❤

Yeah it was more style over substance.
Harry was relegated to being the unofficial Custodian and Handy Wandsman, as well as official Gopher everyone.
Imagine if the movie was like that LOL.

Is the game playable on xbox series x/s i still have the game
No. But it works fine on 360.
Great review
I have the game and I'm wondering does Daniel voice his own character? Cause in the interview he didn't appear at all
No Daniel didn't voice the character he. He was voiced by a guy named Adam Sopp.
I remember buying this game and loving it as a kid and now with hogwarts legacy it’s like revisiting hogwarts
Yeah Legacy is similar in a lot of ways.
The voice acting sounds pretty bad.
