26.3 mph on my Pint X and then I crashed. I was on a slight decline rounding a curve in the road, on asphalt, with a slick tire. The board's nose did not dip, I lost control. The board rolled under my feet and I slid on my right side from knee to elbow (Road Rash), riding regular foot. It took me about a mile to get up to speed, gradually easing into the Push Back.
Try easing into 20 you are torquing up to 18 mph. Try feathering it up to 20. When you hit pushback hold your level there and then ease it to 20mph. You have to baby it though. 🤙
Not being said is you can be in any mode, so more tests should include this on skyline to see if you get the 20mph. haptic buzz at 18mph could because of max torque achieved?, and if you don’t move the slider over from custom to a specific setting, I don’t know what the speed cap is if you leave your setting as just the custom shaping screen.
It can definitely do 20, my stock og pint could do 20, but they never advertised 20mph on pintx only pint s. Pintx was to get everything pint s got except the speed increase
I understood it as Pint X would get all the updates except top speed would stay 18mph. 20mph is reserved for Pint S just like Pint is capped at 16 mph.
@@THEcjustins I see the understanding, tho FM did address the Pint S and X are mechanically the same the only difference being the external accessories, X and S have the same hardware. Both are advertised to reach 20mph, just gotta push it.
No difference at all in performance between the X and the S. Several people have hit 20 on the X post-update, and even slightly over that I've seen (I think the highest I saw was 20.4); it just takes iron nads to push through haptic and get it. My current top on the X is 19.6, and I'm 175lbs, so 20 is possible for sure.
@@TenMillionYearProgram42 Really? Huh. I hit 21 a couple times on my pint x pre-update. It was pretty terrifying and an accident 😂 I’m 150lbs, had a tailwind and was on a very slight downhill grade. Now that it’s updated, 18 is a great cruising speed. No more constantly riding the pushback.

I’m getting pushback at 16 and haptic at 17 even with the new update. I’m on skyline x, should I do custom?
@@_-ALASKA-_ Do custom buddy, you will NOT regret it 👍🏽

Lower your nose by .5
