Waking up in the middle of the night with your hamstring or quad clenching up like a tight fist, and when you finally bend or straighten your leg stretching the cramping muscle causes the opposing muscle to all of a sudden intensely clench like a tight fist or have your calf start cramping like it's going to tear itself off the bone all while lying in bed hardly seems like the time to try these exercises. Especially when it's impossible struggle to even set up right let alone stand up out of the bed. Every human being gets cramps, but I think people who have never experienced such strong locking cramps in large muscles cannot appreciate how painful and immobilizing it can be.

Go Dr. Nguyen!!! well done :)
Thank you
How do you really get how you really take a Charlie horse away?
The worst part is that you can feel it coming long before but there's nothing you can do about it.
its so painful😢
But what about the horrendous thigh cramp that was so painful that I actually vomited! Plus, it lasted for an agonising 4 hours!
or simply STAND UP & Walk it out - or- rub it out
Totally agree here. I used to get them all the time and sometimes just standing up for 10 secs is all it takes, worst case, walk around.
Doesn't always work for everyone, when I cramp I can't do anything but scream in pain
That does help the cramp go away but it doesn’t do anything for the pain that remains after
Should tell me how to relieve first then talk about cause. It was an emergency... bastard.
He's got time stamps in the video
