If you’ve visited the redwoods, it’s like the mist in those hills, hugging the trees themselves. These goliath trees are just hinted at through the fog until you’re right up to them.

Weird part about being a youtuber is that Cam probably doesn't realize how many fans he got. Would even be weirder to know that most of them probably aren't even woodworkers lol. We just enjoy that craft! Would definitely ask for a picture
Cam, one of the biggest reasons I watch your videos EXTENSIVELY! Is your humility! It makes you a better businessman, a better woodworker, and a better teacher!
Scott has an eye for coordinating epoxy and wood color. I didn't see how the milky white would work with the red, but this is gorgeous. And the darkness from the live edge gives it incredible depth. This build truly belongs mounted on a wall. Great job guys 👍
This is the best compliment I think I can give. Every morning I ride exercise bike for 30 min and watch TH-cam videos to distract me from how much I hate it. Your videos make this time fly by faster than any other. Big thank you!
Cam, I think you need to give the eagle scout, camera guy Scott a raise, or at least make him a new merit badge. That table/ wall art looks absolutely amazing. Thank you both for taking time to build, film, edit and post this video.
I'm used to show Cam's videos to my dad, who has being is a woodworker for almost 40y now, but doesn't speak English so I usually do a rough translation on the spot. Today we watched it with the pt dub, it was a totally different experience! It was really cool and heartwarming to bond with my dad over it 🖤
Honestly probably one of the coolest tables you've created. The people in the comments are right. Looks like some foggy woods. The epoxy color is spot on.
No hyperbole, this is one of the most strikingly beautiful woodwork I have ever seen on TH-cam. You got great taste or artistic sense. One of the reasons why this channel is so popular and highly regarded.
I don't comment much on videos, but I feel like I need to on this one. I said Wow out loud at 32:18, when it was the close up shot, seeing those waves, they make it look like the table is made from bronze or some sort of shiny metal. I suppose that would be the M3 Nano making really look like that. I also love how you can see wood though the epoxy, just look looking though deep fog. Just like wow, so flippin good dude. The whole video was great, per usual. I'm not expecting a comment back, I just hope you see this and know that you did such a beautiful job on this. If I had 27k that I could spend and enough room, I would buy this so fast.
Hi Cam, I know I’ve said this before but as an older woman I won’t ever be a woodcrafter but I love your videos because they are teaching me so much about how to create a beautiful piece! You do absolutely amazing work! I’m not wealthy and could never afford one of your pieces but I like to window shop! Thank you for sharing! 😊
I am a Brazilian viewer, and I love the tables you made and your humor in the videos. Your table with the mirrored shapes and jeans are my favorites!!!
Oh, wow! This is the prettiest table that you've done. The white-ish epoxy makes it look like clouds floating amongst the timber. On a separate note, my father and I built a 6 foot round table from Aspen and epoxy back in the 80's. We got bubbles under the epoxy coat and you completely explained why this happened. Dad passed on a while ago, but I finally have an answer on why that happened. Thank you! It's a beautiful piece and I may now forgive the mammoth tusk. LOL!
This is a spectacular piece of art! Just gorgeous. I have the good fortune of living near old growth coastal redwoods. One of my favorite sights is low-lying fog amidst the trunks. You have really captured that. Thank you for all of your work. It is stunning. And the commentary?...priceless.
My wife and I have been watching for a couple years and this is by far our favorite table. It looks like the smokey mountains to us and we absolutely love this. I love it. Great job. I wish this was in our house!
Oh my goodness, that wood grain and colour! I’ve never done anything with epoxy, but I’d certainly love to have a go at that gorgeous timber! I could ‘feel’ each process as the project progressed! Thank you!
If I had the money, I’d buy it without hesitation. I loved the color of the epoxy. Kudos to you for also showing the mistakes-that shows your confidence and how you learn from them and improvise. Once again, beautiful piece!
That redwood is really amazing. I also like the color of the epoxy. It reminds me of fog on a river. Thank you for all you do and for taking us along for the ride.

All I can say ist just wow!!!! Perhaps your most beautiful table ever made. Nothing comes even close to old grown Redwood. No Bubinga, no Afzelia Makha Burl not even amboyna burl. Unfortunately, here in Germany theres no chance to get such pieces. But yeah, excellent Job as always Cam 👍

I'm not even gonna lie, this is probably the coolest looking thing I've ever seen on this channel, the way the color of the wood pairs with that foggy epoxy is like looking out over mountains early in the morning
For some reason, those slow rolling shots of the slab after you were finished cleaning it kind of mesmerized me. I watched it back because it almost looked like the edges had a really cool shade of blue to them. It was really dope. Awesome build as always!
I know nothing about woodworking or tables or epoxy, but man do I love a person who is passionate about his craft. It just makes me warm and fuzzy inside! Cam is a treasure that must be protected at all costs.
That spot appeared after he miscalculated the diameter and had to cut it down to size for the mold. Technically after the roundover but yeah, don’t think that was intentional.
not even done with the video had to pause it to comment on how amazing it looks! was so much fun watching you apply the extra protection of epoxy and seeing the color pop with the contrasting epoxy in the wood. so awesome!!!
This is probably the 50th video I’ve watched of yours and I just want to say that you’re so funny. Love your humor. You’re a great woodworker and an even greater TH-camr. Thanks for the awesome content!! Huge fan.

When you said clear epoxy I was like, Oh No black would look so much better but when I saw the frosted epoxy go on I was literally speechless. This is one amazing project. If I had my pick out of all the tables iv seen on here this would be my choice hands down. Great job guys!
I think this is one of the most beautiful tables you've ever built. The smokey view into other bits of wood is actually incredible. it's got this eerie beauty. God damn if I were rich I'd buy it off the rack instantly lol.
on the circle. drill a hole in a block to fit your marker, tie a knot around the block to remove parallax error holding the pen. you could also tie a knot through the hole of a large washer and just drag the pen against the TDC of the inner diameter. on the mold release, spray into a foam roller, roll on the mold release.

I love how the edges where the wood and epoxy meet look like they are outlined in black. This might be my favorite table, I mean wall hanger that you’ve built.
I actually love that white frosted epoxy. The fact you can see the form of the live edges of the wood subtly underneath really brings out the natural aspects of it. Id be really interested what a similar design in other colours or black would look like.

HI Cam, another awesome video. I came across your content a few months and I have been working my way through your videos newest to oldest since then. The evolution you mention at the start of this video is clear to see the further back I go with your content. Im watching videos like the first denim epoxy table and having a giggle watching the methods you use, knowing how much you have improved the method in later projects. Its great to see. You have quickly become my favourite content creator.
I am always amazed at how great tables you make. I also find you very likeable and even more so now that I can hear it in my native language. I didn't think before that you sometimes improvise with your projects. But the result is always the same, namely an amazingly good table, almost better than the previous one. And one more thing, even though a lot of things in America and Canada are big, I always find it amazing how big a table or bench can be when you set up such a great project. Please keep it up and stay true to your cause. I really like the videos and the projects, always great work. 😊
I definitely would've selected the redwood slab -- even without having seen much else. I'm obsessed with California redwoods and have been ever since I got to visit Kings Canyon when I was 14 in 1992. It's not only a chonky wide slice of wood, it's also suuuuper thick and therefore MASSIVELY more durable and therefore more expensive. Not only is the shape harder to work with, it's the overall weight of the slab would make it more unwieldy and thus take more time and effort to work with.... and you gotta pay the other professionals (besides yourself) who work on it -- pros like Nick. I'm so grateful you've got someone like him close by. I love the color, I love the edge profile. In my theoretical home that's theoretically in Oregon, I would happily have purchased it off the rack. re: mold release.... I've seen some epoxy artists use packing tape in place of mold release on other projects. Not sure if it'll work for deeper pours, though. th-cam.com/video/KeqYSbilzRo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=s5wLjbAiypUx2qId
Scott has good taste. I dig the foggy look as well. I like how some of the lower edges are just hinting through.

The mountains of Redwoods, like looking outside my window.
Really nice table
Based on how Cam was setting it up I thought for sure he was gonna give it to Scott at the end of the video
Agreed. The combination of the cloudy epoxy with the richness of the redwood is one of the nicest combinations I have ever seen :)

Wow, the figuring and colors of that wood are insanely beautiful.
