I've never seen an event where horses become so routinely unsteerable. I was thinking exhaustion, but I'm familiar with long-distance endurance events, and my horses always remained steerable. lol...

When the horses suddenly vear off near the end I did wonder if someone was there that the horse knew and shouted to make it do that, or it could be innocent, someone from the stable shouting '"Come on xxx," and the horse knew the voice.
It's probably because they aren't stupid and know they're probably going to get whacked a lot with the whip coming up to the finish line. Some of them are going to try and avoid that.

The last race was corrupt for sure.
You'd be spot on with that observation,what you should also know is that all races are pre arranged by ,trainers they work it all out mainly in the bookies best interests first they get most favs beat ,and as anyone knows nearly every day there's 3 or 4 no hopers win ,they are all very scientific and very very tight with each other ,trainers and jockeys it will never come out unless horses one day find a way to talk 😂

7:36 This is horrible. That horse absolutely should have been pulled up after slipping like that, but nope. Jockey makes her run again. How anyone can say this is acceptable is beyond me.
I hate the fences. It's too much, something that is proven true time and again with how common spills are and how often horses fail to finish the race.

@@caz3502 Horses get pulled up when they don't want to all the time. Horses often don't want to get in the starting gate, but they do anyway. Don't feed me that BS line. Fences are way too dangerous.

He virtually pulled him up on the run in.Lookslikerainted jumped the last full of running. Hands & heels would have sealed it but you're right...He forgot to engage his brain.
The worst example of corruption before your very eyes ,was when that rat ruby walsh jumped off annie power the first time ,and saved the bookies 40 million pounds because mullins already had 3 go in that day ,the shouts of joy when horse went 20 lengths clear 2 out ,were soon replaced with gasps of disbelief and horror ,when he jumped off Annie power at the last word on grapevine he got a brown envelope,with 500,000 inside and none of this is sour grapes i didnt bet on the race ,or any of the others the games bent and they prey on most gamblers ,who are vunerable people no matter what happens they will carry on with the game ,thankfully some of us managed to see the light plus how much ,we had in the bank after nearly 2 year lockdown with covid .

Some of these races were quite strange. These Jockey's were all over the place, like they are where we live in AMERICA. We seen some jockey's and horse's do some Wild 😜😜 things on the track.
What race was the jockey at fault in the video, except for the last obviously
It was a race at Los Alamitios , it was a quarter horse race and the jockey was going straight, at first, the horse went to far to the right, and he couldn't control the horse, and the horse threw the jockey, where the table and chairs were. My husband and I thought, what in the Heck is going on!! The Jockey was lucky to be alive and the horse, had to be corralled. Now that's Bizarre.
@@liamquigley891 Agree, the jockeys did nothing wrong, except in the last race, but perhaps the horse in the last race just lost his energy?

Horse racing should be outlawed.
Are you going to take in the thousands of horses, feed them, stable them? Do you have enough land to take them?. Of course not so what would you do with them after outlawing racing? Would you euthanize all of them? Cone on, you want it outlawed so what's your solution?

@@chrisb3989 I probably care more than you, you probably care more about virtue signalling to feel better about yourself. Horse racing is far from perfect, but NH is far better than flat racing, and I'd rather see incremental improvements to benefit horses wellbeing than just label it all cruel and have it banned. Fact remains, most horses love to run and race, most horses lead very cushy lives and are cared for very well by thousands of very passionate horse lovers. Ban horse racing and no horse will be bred for that reason again, denying thousands of horses a life and thousands of people a fulfilling career and millions an enjoyable pastime. Think what you will of their lives, but I can guarantee 99% of the horses would rather live the lives they do than not at all. Wild horses have to care about food, water, warmth and predation, they will eventually die through injury, disease, predation etc and 99% of the time that will be very unpleasant, should we wipe them all out so they don't have to experience this? To live is to suffer, only someone deluded would try and remove all suffering from the world, and racehorses suffer a hell of a lot less than most animals on this planet, an unhappy horse is not a healthy and fast horse, they are treated very well, better than most humans. There are billions of humans treated far worse than racehorses, I don't see you caring and harping on about that.

Want to understand the world better and do some good? Get out there and look from the worst travesties in the world. We're so removed from that in our comfy western world, that people don't understand what true suffering is and get bowled over when they see a tiny injustice.
