- Chief snoop presents my unbagging and review of the LVC 1947 501XX Jeans. One of my all time favorite pairs. Enjoy!
To the owner of this 501® Jean,
When World War II ended and raw materials were available again, Levi Strauss & Co. leaped back into heavy production to meet the growing postwar demand. Slimmer fitting, with no extra details like the cinch or suspender buttons, this was a jean that was ready for the changing times.
The watch pocket rivets came back after their wartime hiatus, and the Arcuate was stitched on the back pockets after having been applied with paint throughout the war.
But it came back in different form: double needle thanks to new, technology, the famed double-arch stitch was now uniform in size hand design, no longer subject to the skill of the individual sewing machine operator using a single needle machine.
The red selvedge Cone Mills denim was still the bedrock of the jean,as it had been for nearly
two decades. By the the end of the 1940s, Levi's® jeans were aimed at the new, emerging middle class.
The 1947 501 Jean was the jean of a new generation.

Great fit on those dude!
Nice ! Working on a pair of 1947s I picked up a month ago with 20 wears.
Oh ik they’re just getting good now!
Your posterior is absolutely tremendous!
Beautiful pair of jeans. They´re gonna look incredible after 12 to 18 months wear and a few washes.
Oh these babies will absolutely age beautifully definitely a life long pair
Look great sir.
Nice outfit classic.
Great video :) Since you've been wearing them from rigid, have you found much indigo transfer to your white t shirts?
Not too much on my shirts (I have been wearing them tucked these days) but a bit of crocking on my shoes and mainly my belt is taking most of the indigo
Que hermoso par
Muchos gracias! Yo también lo creo!
Hello, how much did you pay for the pants?
These go for 295$ on the Levi’s site.
Levis does not look good on black people
Nah it looks fire on him
Hei racist go vote trump
I would beg to differ. Denim looks good on anyone if you have any style that is.
@@501chiefsnoop no , I mean white and other light colour look good on them then dark colour
I understand. So light and white denim is what you’re saying. I enjoy the dark true indigo color of denim. They’ll be a light wash in about 30 years or so.
