I don’t have a problem with someone kneeling during the anthem, we don’t know the context of their actions and should listen first before being outraged like some SJWs . I’ll take the taking a knee protest over looting, arson, shooting, stabbing. Even though I may not like it as a patriot, as a patriot I also defend his right to express his concerns lawfully and not hurting anyone the way it should be.
Kaepernick NEVER said, “I’m kneeling because the military doesn’t deserve my respect and it’s a joke. I hate the USA.” He NEVER said that in why he knelt. What he said was, “There’s black people being killed by cops for no reason and unjustly. That’s not right and cops are getting paid leave for killing people. That needs to change.” He knelt to raise awareness on injustice and police brutality on black people. That’s why he did it. 🙁✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽
National anthem is for the military it’s not meant to be on a sporting event so if someone wants to protest or let’s say someone getting the beer during the national anthem do you tell him to have respect and turn around and put his hand on his heart or does he still get his beer and hotdogs people at home watching the event and they start playing the national anthem do you stand up and put their hand on your heart or do you go to the bathroom take a shit before the game
colin kapernick isnt protesting the military or the flag...thats what most of yall are ignoring....or thats what youre using to deflect from the main issue he is actually protesting
The people who protest the protest don't want to hear it. I disagree that we should recognize the inevitability of racism, and I honor Colin Kapernick for using his visibility as a celebrity to shine a light, to call it out and to say we must do better.
It's interesting, when someone says they're 'hurt' by the protests, I'm much more sympathetic and I'm more willing to take in their point of view and be more flexible in mine. Whereas if you shout that it's disrespectful and call the protesters names I get more entrenched in my stance and get more defensive. He's right in that we need to be able to listen to the other side even if we don't agree with it. We're all Americans in the end.
1) Why would you want to force a person to stand for a song and in the same token claim freedom? That makes no sense. 2) The song is outwardly and blatantly disrespectful to my ancestors and black people in general. Would you require a Jewish person to stamd for Nazi songs and celebratory practices? No. You'd have enough sense to not do some dumb shit like that. 3) Ive been to several NFL stadiums and other sports stadiums and events in general. While its being played thousands of people are sitting, walking around, talking, cussing, arguing, fighting, having sex and no one cared or care now. Now, all of a sudden we want to pretend while ignoring what this is really about.
1941 the NFL started playing the National Anthem. Playing the national anthem before the start of regular season baseball games became the standard. And with the U.S. in World War II now, the National Football League also included the playing of the anthem before games. It hasn't been 100 years...
This! West Virginia State Board of Education v. Barnette, 319 U.S. 624 (1943), is a landmark decision by the United States Supreme Court holding that the First Amendment protects students from being compelled to salute the American flag or say the Pledge of Allegiance in public schools. And it applies to Colin’s right to respectfully protest on his knee.
Both sides of this issue have a very distorted and baseless view of Nate Boyer. Most people don't know his name, that he was a green beret, and that he's very patriotic. The truth is much different than what I've heard from people on either side of this... and it's not even necessary. People don't care about facts or content anymore. If something they hear from someone else's mouth serves their purpose, they'll repeat it without hesitation. Knowing anything beyond one's agenda doesn't matter anymore and that is scary. It's not useful for people trying to make a change like Kaepernick or for people who see something wrong with a form of protest they find disrespectful, for that matter. It is useful for people or organizations with the intent to deceive others and undermine their trust for personal gain.
Reverence in reverence what a beautiful time same as standing taking your hat off close enough but to change it because of something we could work on and change something that it already is a standard and not hurtful and take away that is crazy
All them vets behind him,,imagine would. A flag truly heal your feelings,,if they all were in caskets coming from a war,,they was killed in,,,I think if it had a miracle effect,,an prevented the war,in the first place,,an no one was injure or hurt,,came back alive ,,then I'm all for it!!

The media outlets made sure to never speak about this on the news. Didn't even hear about this when they went after Kap and basically lynched his character in the media.
waiting for will cain to tell the vet where hes wrong
I like the compromise; I will kneel. Kap is a true American hero fighting for truth, justice, and the American way.
I checked out when Kellerman started talking.
The soldiers are heroes because they make the choice and the sacrifice to go out and fight for our country, and unfortunately sometimes die for our country, but, with all do respect, they CHOOSE to die for our country. I don't think innocent unarmed black civilians choose to get gunned down for our country. Just saying.
Unarmed black civilians lol. What about the blacks who kill each other at an extremely higher rate? Crickets. Zero protests. Almost zero media coverage. But when it's a black vs white thing then EVERYONE talks about it. Why is that? Do you care about blacks dying or do you care about trying to make it a race issue like people always do. Let's be real
c h our job isn’t to protect and serve but I get what you mean
@@usa5439 You're right, let's be real. There are females who disrespect, hurt and/or kill each other. By your logic, we shouldn't make it a gender thing and we shouldn't talk about males disrespecting, hurting, and/or killing females because there are females who do it to each other.
@@WestsideWillie Really?!!!! By c h's logic, when males disrespect, hurt, and/or kill females we shouldn't talk about that or make it a gender issue because females disrespect, hurt, and/or kill each other.
@@terryknight5869
It shouldn't be a gender thing because not all males hurt females, etc. Domestic violence prevention isnt just about males hurting females. Actually females hurt males. Females hurt other females etc. If you only said hey let's stop males vs female violence and didnt ever mention the others then that would be the same as how the media only shows white vs black shootings. It's all media bullshit.
Well this blow up back in his face really comparing kneeling to pray and asking for your girl to marry is not the same as kneeling for a colour issue RESPECT really🤯🤯🤯
I don’t have a problem with someone kneeling during the anthem, we don’t know the context of their actions and should listen first before being outraged like some SJWs
. I’ll take the taking a knee protest over looting, arson, shooting, stabbing. Even though I may not like it as a patriot, as a patriot I also defend his right to express his concerns lawfully and not hurting anyone the way it should be.
I think that only black cops should police black neighborhoods. thoughts?
@Christian Hernandez No it wouldn't. Black cops hate lower class blacks even more than white cops.
Much easier to accept racism when it doesn’t affect you. Seems to me that Kap had Nates back more than Nate has his.
So this dude told Kaperdick he should kneel instead of sit?!?
How many homeless vets do I see a day?🤔🤔🤔
I don't know how many you see, but in Dallas I see too many.
All vets can go get government assistance from the VA. Theres literally no reason for a vet to be homeless except that they refuse help.
Discuss the third verse of national anthem.
Unfortunately it’s views like Nate’s that keep racism alive. His mantra is that racism will always exist. As a man thinketh so is he.
Minneapolis
In Asia kneeling is more respectful than standing.
1941 the NFL started playing the National Anthem. Playing the national anthem before the start of regular season baseball games became the standard. And with the U.S. in World War II now, the National Football League also included the playing of the anthem before games. It hasn't been 100 years...
This doesn't have enough views.
Rest in power George floyd
What did he not agree with. How do you support something you disagree with?
✊✊✊!!!
That way he can give BJ`s better. It`s still his country.
Great perspective. Can we go back to respecting each others viewpoints and listening instead of racing to make it all about us?
Beautiful, still GOAT 🗽🙌🏾♥️
Drew Brees please come and watch this. Rest in Peace George Floyd
what exactly didn't Nate agree with?
Kaepernick sitting
Reverence in reverence what a beautiful time same as standing taking your hat off close enough but to change it because of something we could work on and change something that it already is a standard and not hurtful and take away that is crazy
Though I don’t agree with the kneeling I can at least understand it’s out of respect.
Nate. What did it take so long for you to weigh in?
All them vets behind him,,imagine would. A flag truly heal your feelings,,if they all were in caskets coming from a war,,they was killed in,,,I think if it had a miracle effect,,an prevented the war,in the first place,,an no one was injure or hurt,,came back alive ,,then I'm all for it!!
I commented saying that this dude suggested he take a knee.. And someone said well he is not a real soldier so it doesnt count...
He disagrees with him that police brutality needs to stop?
Willing to have a partnership. The two issues in a partnership that weighs most. It's space. Financial game.. turn around to your pier and ask them to you feel treated the same
stop yelling
I don't see no video of people burning US military uniforms
