    Sachiaki Takamiya is a writer and the creator of Ikigai Diet and Ikigai Bio-Hacking. He has authored a range of books, with one of his better-known works being the spiritual adventure novel, Ten-jo-no-Symphony, published in Japanese by Kodansha in 2006. His contributions in English include The Ikigai Diet, and Ikigai Bio-Hacking.
    He embraces a sustainable lifestyle in a serene town in Shiga Prefecture, growing his own vegetables and crafting fermented foods. In 2018, he innovatively translated this lifestyle into a diet, thus birthing the Ikigai Diet. In 2022, he further enriched this diet, transforming it into a holistic health approach called Ikigai Bio-Hacking.
    Homemade natto has been a staple of his diet for nearly a decade, holding a central role in the Ikigai Diet. Embracing this passion for natto, he donned the moniker ‘Natto King’ in 2022 and began disseminating natto-related insights via his TH-cam channel, the Ikigai Diet.
    His health-focused lifestyle has certainly paid dividends. Despite being in his early 60s, he consistently receives clean bills of health.

    I just discovered the Joy of Eating Natto, it became delicious after eating it for a few weeks. Now I want it everyday and enjoy watching your TH-cam channel because you are so encouraging to continue eating Natto. I want all my neighbours on Vancouver Island , friends and family to discover this wonderful food. Thanks¨̮ for all you do

    Understand this, (if you have treated bowel cancer before) FIBRE AND POLYPHENOLS (not just fibre alone and Natto) FIBRE AND POLYPHENOLS are responsible for the protection of the bowel/HEALTH (For example Aronia berry). NATTO's strength, is its fermentation of the k2 vitamin, due to its fermentation you absorb practically 100% into the blood, (protects your bones). You are all yet to understand food combinations, you need polyphenols to make fibre relative, and natto needs to be eaten without damaging its fermentation to make a difference. GREEN TEA needs quercetin to be the most effective. AGAIN FOOD COMBINATIONS are where the most power is when it comes to food. being therapeutic.

    Yes, keep learning and sharing your wisdom. I'll have to take the plunge and buy your Natto book, the cooking pot, and organic soy beans, find some weeds. So much stuff to buy I've been putting it off. Right now I'm trying some Natto supplements. Of course never as good as the real thing.

    just normal sugar?

      sugar in the gut, which becomes good feed to lactic acid bacteria and bifidobacteria.
