The sheriff stealing Hanks pie isn't canon. It's only from that one game but it isn't canon to the main series. Im guessing Hank goes after the sheriff because a bounty was placed on him after the first episode. And the improbabiltiy drive did cause everything to go absolutely crazy and the sheriff activated it because he was scared of Hank and because he is selfish.

Madness Combat is pretty much just that; madness and combat. A story was probably never planned in advance or was never meant to be relevant, so props to you for trying to explain a story that was probably just squeezed there without planning

Hank never intended to start violence and the reason for hank having guns was just a logic a fun logic actually also the boombox man would of never been tricky since the boombox turned into a zombie by Jeb
Sorry but this is only the surface level part of the story. i know your not trying to explain everything, but this is the stuff that’s been repeated over the past like 5 years. Theirs literally tens of hours of stuff to talk about, which are needed for the world building and explaining. This is alright as I said for the basic stuff, but when will someone explain the actual lore 😩
If you want some help lol I feel like dumping a bit of information everyone misses. Before everyone existed theirs a dude named the maker, he makes go1s or generation ones which are like normal grunts but the original and are extremely strong. They learn how to clone themselves and make go2s or generation 2s. These are everyone normal. Go1s kill each other and go extinct (other than Phobos). GO3ems or generation 3s don’t need to be talked about, they are just meat bags that don’t show up in the animations. Go4s are aahw clones which don’t have personalities and follow orders. Go5s are robots which don’t show up in animations
Tricky is actually a dude named hofnarr, who gets infected with dissonance or basically just hell juice. It drives him insane, but because he’s a scientist he fights it off for a bit until he ends up falling to the madness. Tricky invented the improbability drives by using dissonance. Jeb invented s3lf research so basically making zeds
