I'm a huge Forza fan. Forza was all I played between 2014-2018. But I need to be honest: franchise fatigue has set in and it's hard to be truly excited for the next game. Releasing 5 games in 9 years will do that to you.

Yeah, I think November 2025 sounds about right, 2024 felt a bit too soon, like the game needed something before the next one got announced.

Because of backstage pass? While it is true, to be fair FH4 had like some months left of good chunk of actual update before actually stopped updating. Maybe FH5 still can have a good chunk of update to keep the game alive, before actually preparing for next game. I just wish they didn't rush FH6, that's all
Forza Horizon 6 has got to come out in 2026. Besides any game releasing in the same year as GTA 6 is not profit.

Because, Festival playlists aren't actually "progression/grinding". They're locked behind Fear of Missing Out, which means they're not part of the storyline at all, whatsoever. Which is not the samething and they're 2 totally completely different things.

Side note! the paint artifacting is from one of the anti-aliasing options. you can see it with brake lights also.

I mean the backstage pass doesn't really fix the fomo as it's on rotation so you can't just get any car at any time, It does help a lot but it won't be enough for me to redownload the game

@@-nkn0wn my mistake if it's not on rotation must have misread it somewhere, but there is still cars you can't get in fh4 through the backstage pass thus still not solving the issue

I think its a slap to the face to forza fans that xbox has playground games working on a fable game rather than horizon 6, its like ea forcing nfs devs to work on battlefield, racing franchises dont get the care they used to, to the point they are consider sports games now rather than its own genre of racing
Forza Horizon 5 is good but still boring. FH4 was more intresting.
FH4 is the worst game in the series. Who would want to drive on a snow-covered map?? Definitely not me. FH3 and FH2 were the best.
Forza Horizon 5 missed simply because of the map location and the car sounds, couldve been a hit if it werent in Mexico. Doomed from the start 😭😂
I think the problem was in the map design in general. Mexico is beautiful but this map fails to do anything exciting with it. Like 80% of it is just plain fields and useless roads. Also a modern city was needed, Guanajuato could have been a perfectly fine location if it weren’t the main city. Missing a Surfers Paradise or an Edinburgh.
Mexico isn't the issue. It theoretically had the potential of being the best map in the series. But it was designed for the Eliminator. The middle is dull and flat. And there is little to no modern infrastructure like cities with tall buildings, fuel stations, shops, neighborhoods etc. Also the road layout is awful. It's just a huge web of roads that make no sense.

Proof is the recycled playlist races and trials. Same thing happened in FH4...Personally I still miss FH4...I felt it was more engaging. Even the festivals main site seemed more inviting. The FH5 main site is boring.

I hope so. FH5 fell flat for me. It had all this hype behind it but ultimately was just another DLC for FH3. Boring map, the same cars from previous games. No sense of progression as cars are literally just given to you. FOMO up the ass. Still a lack of customization compared to the Crew 2 and NFS...hell, even CarX street has more options.
The series needs to change things up and I honestly hope FH6 is good.
