    Hey man. Just a suggestion but you would get more strength of you weld the inside up to the gusset slots then put the gusset in and finish the outside welds, that way your welded to the knuckles in more areas which is more surface area. 🤙

    Nice job. After welding steel to cast, I understand it is best to then wrap it all in a fiberglass blanket so it will cool slowly over several hours.

      Thank you for watching! Normally I wrap it up with the blanket if I'm welding on the pumpkin. It definitely wouldn't hurt to add it to the steering knuckle after welding

    is that a mag neutral clamp?

      Thank you for watching the video! I don't fully understand what you mean by neutral clamp. I do know that whether I'm using the Magswitch for the ground or the Magsquare to hold pieces in place, they can interfere with your welding if you're welding right next to them. I don't usually have the ground that close for it to affect me. And for the mag square I usually use it long enough to place some tacks then remove it prior to welding.
