    Love these mpg tests. Pretty decent. For the powerful turbo 3. We just did a test on a non turbo 2wd sedan 3 and got 38 on a 111 mile loop.

    Have always enjoyed the Mazda's that I have owned in the past. They were all RX-7s from the 80s and 90s, so it's been a while.

    I’ve been watching a lot of Mazda 3 turbo videos lately to decide if i want to get one and TH-cam recommended your video. This was extremely helpful and a lot of practical and useful information. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos and don’t stop! I’ve heard multiple people say this car is quiet and comfortable and I thought it was high praise by you to give it a 9/10!

      I just got a CX-30--it is very very comfortable.I sold my 2020 stinger and made some money on it and was able to buy my fully loaded CX-30 outright and pocket several thousand dollars.The CX-30 is actually better then an A6 Audi--more comfortable and the interior quality is almost the same.BTW the 6 speed auto is fine--these new trannies that have many geras hunt for them constantly.The 2nd gera is also very tall in this vehicle so it has torque everywhere--and after just a split second for the turbo to spool--it can get on a HWy in triple digit speeds with no problem--it actually feels similiar to my last gen Accord with the 3.5 V6.

      @@khronin do you miss the Stinger??

      @@SWEETVENOM100 Somewhat but I now have a Kona N.I miss the stingers speed and ability at public drag--but it sat so low that I had 3 flats in one year--my door sills got scuffed up at public drag because all the chunks of rubber were hitting all the low parts of the car.I was unable to goto a spot where i bike in the mountains cause the stinger could not go on the roads.From now on I will buy sport SUVs and with the Kona N I do not miss the stinger as much cause it is almost as fast in some aspects and I do not have to worry about bad roads cause the kona sits up higher.

      @@khronin I was looking at Elantra N but I get skeptical with KDM since they never stick to any one technology or package

    Old video but there are a lot of takes on this cars' efficiency. About half claim combined in the 26-27 range, the other half claim they're getting below 20 combined.....glad there's an example of a definitive test.

    I've watched the Elantra 70 MPH test and now this one and even from my PC speakers you can hear how much quieter the Mazda is vs. the Elantra.

      Elantra has semi performance tyres on them and it's a more powerful car so obviously it's a bit louder.

    Cold temperatures and being at a high elevation also have a negative effect on the mpg.

    I've got a Mazda3 Hatchback FWD Premium 2020 recently, but out of curiosity, is it better to use 91 or just keep using the 87 for a FWD?

    • @hunterkyle2021
      @hunterkyle2021 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Your FWD isn’t turbocharged so just run 87 in it. No advantages for higher octane :)

    It's maintaining its speed shows the Setup is right, with its transmission. If it ant broke don't fix it.

    6:57 you noticed? The range gauge says 190. Seconds later in the video, it says 200. Before that when you just fill up the tank, it says 180. What a funny gauge. Is this a technical issue of this car? I saw it on my car also today.

      It's not reliable at all!! It adapts way too much, I'm just got back from a long road trip and in some cases it would say 240 and only lasted 160... it sure spends a lot of gas.
