Great video ideas. I started my channel on my 70th birthday And I guess that’s my niche. But I am not What people usually think of as a an old woman. I’ve sang danced with my cane and recited poetry. But I’m still passionate about books. It hasn’t been easy because I don’t know how to film and have my partner help me but I’m ready to learn and grow. Even a 71-year-old can grow. I am wanting to start a booktube channel for much the same reasons as many other people. I love to read and talk about my books but have no one to talk to about my books! I am very nervous to start something like this. I'm a complete introvert with an active anxiety disorder and I dont want to come across as timid or spastic...lol. Your tips were very helpful, especially about equipment. I tend to buy all the things to do something and then end up not doing it. It's good to know that I can do this with just what I have so I can see how I like it before I invest money. Thank you so much for your help!

I'm hardly growing so even though I'm not that new these are still really helpful. I struggle with the engagement side I am quite shy in reality so putting myself out there is a bit scary. Growth definitely comes in phases, sometimes I don't grow for months at a time then suddenly grow for a week weeks before it plateaus. I'm quite shy too, so can definitely relate to being scared to putting yourself out there, but keep building up your confidence and do it anyway - you'll surprise yourself :) thanks so much for your comment and for watching this video! x
