Homeslice. Boychik. Mon frère, listen. I don't even think I can say "thanks" sincerely enough. Two days and change on two hours of sleep, sure that I'd linger just on the edge of nodding off for the rest of forever, but this? This did it. You did good, my guy. Hooo.
I've had a couple more sleeps in the interim and I feel just about human again, hahaha!
Have to admit that I felt just a little bit silly going into it, but if a thing works you gotta give it the credit it deserves, right? You hit on a really good level and combination of sounds. Conserving the background noise feels like a good thing to've done. The sounds of someone kinda just going about their business is nostalgic; it reminds me of the times when I was a kid and family members would carry on conversing or doing dishes or whatever else after "bed time," y'know? Comfort in the mundane or something to that effect.

This is exactly as how I sleep when I was with my exbf. We're in long distance. He's a gamer and when I needed to sleep (because it's midnight here) and he needed to play (because it's afternoon there), he just let me sleep while he's playing. Listening to the key strokes, mouse clicks, the occasional mumbling (because of losing or planning with his team) and the breathing sound is really therapeutic.

Yes, wished I'd found them 3 yrs ago when the traumatic event happened but just simply thrilled I've found therm now... thanks from the depths of my heart & soul for doing this. Cardlin, please make a series of videos going through the stages of a pregnancy (finding out she's pregnant, going through pregnancy care, going through labor etc.) I love your videos and would love to see what you could do with this.
I remember just a few months ago coming across this channel, completly accidentally, and specifically being this video. I planned to listen as a joke, make fun of his voice, then complain to friends about how this ASMR stuff is a loud of crap. Till this day, I've found comfort in these videos, so when my melatonin supplements don't work, I go here and fall asleep, feeling much more comfortable then I ever did with the pills. Sometimes just feeling like someone is there is comforting, and sometimes we need that when we can't have that. videos like this one help that, and I can't be more happy that it does exist. thanks for everything cardlin, you helped me sleep after two years.
