I'm back guys! And this time with a challenge! Can I finish 10 effects in 10 minutes!? 60 sec for each!? 🤔
It was a fun exercise 🤯

I come with serious challenge Gabriel ! Try to do BG3 like vfx ( disintegrate beam , vampiric touch , shadow blade my favorites ) , but use only PS and Shaders , no vfx graph this time.
VFX should contain Prepare, Cast and Impact

You could give me a day and not one of my effects would look this good. You are incredible! I want to make 3D games just so I can go wild with VFX but 2D games have a magical charm to them that I want to be a part of so my VFX will pretty much just consist entirely of sprite animations. I some day want to make some sort of co-op horror in 3D but obviously a game like that wouldn't suit well with bright luminescent VFX

As you have to focus only on the essentials due to the time constraints this video teaches much more than anything else. 🎉

It would be cool to make a superhero powers pack or bundle. Basically making the powers you see in X-men and or the comics

    Hello Gabriel,
Question .. Is it possible to use VFX Graph on 2D UI?
if you could, please make also tutorials on cool UI VFX and Particles and Shaders
For example how Marvel Snap did things, it's very interesting and looks too hard which i want to learn, and I don't see any tutorials about UI Effects .. and you explain things very well so I'd highly appreciate it and I'm sure others too
    Keep your work up, thanks

hey do you think you can do a particle vfx tutorial for the energy gathering effect. I'm making a megaman x game and I'm trying to replicate the effect where when he gathers energy it collects around him and he has a glowing orb around him. Like in megaman x 4?

Hey Gabriel! How would you make effects for ps1 style games? Could you make a tutorial or a similar video to this on that topic? Would be so helpful because psx games are coming back.
