It gives me hope one day my home will be like that. Also, quick decisions over declutter this item or not. I struggle making decisions and need to build those decluttering muscles.

I still crave to be even more minimal with our items but I’m finding the age the kids are is getting a bit harder with them wanting to have more things. Yes it totally is a muscle to build making quick declutter decisions, It’s definitely gotten easier for me the more I’ve done it ❤️

Jana just wondering if you save any toys /bedding or bits for if the little ones have friends over to stay or play etc. Also do you have a box of things to give as presents for when the girls get asked to go to birthday parties? I'm torn between buying as I need to get them, or trying to get cheaper bits in the sale that would be suitable. He has been to so many girls parties this year now he's started school (Early Years age 4). I feel like we need to keep some girls toys for when they come over as tgry look at the marble runs, cars, books, Lego etc and say "I don't know what to play".. The bunk beds in the girls bedroom makes a huge difference. Really opens up the space. I bet they love them as well. Off to a school fete now. Hoping Benjamin doesn't pick up too much stuff to bring home 😂
Heya! No we don’t keep anything specifically for when the kids friends/cousins stay, we have a few extra blankets, sheets and sleeping bags that they use for sleepovers and then they usually just play with the toys we already have here. I don’t keep things for kids birthday gifts either, when the kids get a party invitation I just go to the shops and buy a present then 😊 I can’t believe Benjamin’s wee girl friends don’t like the cars and marble run etc My girls both love playing with cars, Lego and marble runs! That does make it tricky though when they are interested in his toys

We were really under the pump trying to get our old house all ready to sell and the process of selling with open homes/viewings etc and then buying this house, it was so full on so I didn’t even want to think about decluttering lol I knew I was due for a declutter but I thought it would be nicer to do it in this new house in calmness instead of in the middle of a crazy time 😊
Do you have any other minimalist channels you can recommend? I love watching new ones. I recently discovered a lady in Wales called Minimalism and More. She’s only new to YT but lots of good ideas like yours.❤
It may come as a surprise but most the channels I follow on TH-cam are actually not minimalist channels. What I’m usually watching on here is cash stuffing, gardening and true crime videos so I wouldn’t have a clue what minimalist channels are out there now!
