Great video. This is probably a silly question, but did you mean to say "colon" instead of "semicolon" for the "mailto:"? When the video was playing at 480p it looked like a semicolon. So I thought that is what you were using at first. But when I changed the resolution to 1080p, I could see it was a colon. Thanks again for the video.

Hi Steven, thank you for your video. I have a question, why link_url parameter dont have auto complete. I was trying to find some parameter to get part of href parameter of a link but just found your video =)

No problem, glad you found it helpful 👍 That would be really handy, I'm sure they will add that at some point in GA4. Luckily they have a table of all the values that you can reference.

mine is still counting on clicks

It will still count as a click as it is a click event. You are just adding a filter to that event to say 'only show me these types of clicks' under this particular event.

@@stevelitton but the event I created won't show up and I can't even add them as conversions.

Oh sorry, I see. It can take up to 24 hours for it to show in the main events page. Try and see if you can trigger it in the real-time dashboard. You may have to clear the cache on your website, use a different browser or incognito window to view it and make sure to accept cookies before trying to trigger the event. Once it starts feeding through then you can make it as a conversion. Hope that helps.
