Thanks Benjamin
Benjamin is the best!👍
That’s very kind. Thank you!
Thank you for this! Question-is there a reason you wouldn't just leave all the variables enabled?
Hey Benjamin, thanks for the great tutorial, I just have a doubt, suppose if we want to track 3 button clicks (with different classes) then we would need to create 3 triggers and 3 tags in GTM right? Thank you
Hi Benjamin, Why would you disable the not used built-in variables afterwards? For speed reasons or why? Can I just leave them activated or even just activate all the built-in variables once and leave it at that?
It makes me giddy to know you probably saw me googling this about 2 weeks ago, (amongst others) and created content around it. I might be assuming, but I think I'm right.
'd love to see a video explaining how to set up conversion tracking for button clicks within Google Ads. Would you be able to create one?
You can use exactly the same technique from this video to create your trigger. Then just create a Google Ads conversion tag instead of a GA4 event tag.
But why track Form Classes instead of Click Classes? You want to track clicks, right..?>
We’re still using a click trigger, but listening for the button click within the form. You can also use the click class if you like though - you can see it in the variables tab when we review the options in Tag Assistant.
