Yeah man, beautiful car! The SLP’s sound great. I’ve got a loudmouth on my 05, and it’s plenty loud with a lot of throaty sounds. As much as I love my 05, the new edge’s will always be my favorite
Hey! Im looking for a new edge gt and I was wondering how reliability is on these cars for being 20+ years old. I am looking to daily one of these cars. Thank you!
I've daily driven a new edge for the past 4 years and it's been great. Just keep up with the regular maintenance and don't redline the car every 5 minutes and you should be good!

I am considering putting one of those inner fender style cold air intakes like you have on my ‘02 to isolate the air filter from sucking in hot engine bay heat. Mine came with an AirAid cold air intake already that sits under the hood. Have you had any problems with water getting sucked up in the air filter during heavy rain storms like we have around NC or the air filter falling off driving down the road like some reviews had mentioned online? Yours looks pretty similar to the SR Performance brand I’m looking at which is at a really affordable price on American Muscle.

I’ve had my eye on a used stock intake/airbox on eBay also that would pull the air from the fender like the factory intended and I could just put a high flow air filter inside that stock airbox. That’s what I did on my ‘06 GT and it runs better than it did when I ran an under hood “cold air intake”. You have the factory setup on your ‘99 GT with high flow filter right?
@@Palomino488 yes that's correct I just have a k and n drop in filter. Seems to work fine, I did notice more intake noise with the cold air intake tho which is kind of cool.
Also I would put wheels that belong on the car, Just because the right offset and stance on a new edge may be the best part about it..lol..I got the saleen reps you can see on my chan, from Lmr, they look good also the sve series 1 look great too…
Great job on the paint restoration 👍🏼 Both of your Mustangs are very nice. You might like 3.55 gears for daily driving as a fair compromise of performance and good highway fuel economy. On your ‘99 did you spray tint your new vector style taillights? I’ve been following your channel for a while now and really enjoy the videos, especially the Mustang content.
Thanks, yeah I actually have 3.55's on the 99 and think 3.73 would be good for the 02 just because how tall the tires are. Yeah I did spray tint it, however I think I need to redo it lol. Really appreciate the support!

I have been looking into exhausts for my 03 GT, slp loudmouths are the catback I am getting, but what do you think about the difference of having a catted/ catless x pipe? is one worth it over the other?

Yeah man so far so good, I've driven threw a few deep puddles and haven't had an issue. It's just a cheap eBay cold air intake.

I think the catted sounds way better and you don't get a check engine light. Also easier to pass emissions inspection (if you have it)
