I don't know how illegal this is but first time in my life I've seen forklift unloads pallets of pyro from a small truck straight to the crowd in the stadium. No one stopped them, gates open in front of the police. No one searched me entering the stadium. And I was so drunk, in Bulgaria cops wouldn't let me in.

The club has a soccer team, basketball team, volleyball, etc. Most of Greece supports the Reds/Greens and then the second tier teams. Along with that they'll also support their local team if they live outside of Athens or Thessaloniki. Many matches between PAO and Olympiakos usually have fights break out before and during the match. Stuff gets crazy outside the stadium too. But that's not to say nothing happens when other teams play each other. Same types of craziness can happen at AEK and PAOK too. In fact, one match between PAOK and Olympiakos in PAOKs stadium, the fans made a ring of fire around the stadium and they push dead fish under the Olympiakos bench so it smells. In another match PAOKs owner pulled out a gun and tried to go after the ref a few years back. Soccer is a HUGE deal over there. Basketball is the secondary sport, but it's also HUGE ... especially when the top teams play.
