    Cool video we’re building a 30 Plymouth roadster at the moment 318 powered but trying to keep the Plymouth chassis/spring just to be different it’s cool to see how other guys do stuff 👍🏼take it easy mate 🍺🇳🇿😎

    If you had made a 45 degree cut with the top of the cut at the rear, then you could just set the part you cut off on top of the rest of the frame and your length stays the same.
    No angle-finding necessary.

      I like that style of doing it as well! I might do that in a video on the next one!

    Don't Ever, ever cut, weld, or do any modifications to any chassis if it's not solidly clamped, or even tacked to a straight flat, level, square, strong chassis jig. If you ever put some decent horsepower through it and manage to workout how to get traction, you'll crab walk at best. And if you're not careful it'll just break. TAKE CARE man, and good luck..

    Looks good! Be stronger than the original frame rails for sure. What rear axle is that you're using?

    • @WiredCustomsSpeedShop
      @WiredCustomsSpeedShop  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! The rear is a 8.8 out of a ford ranger, they are the same width as the banjo

      @@WiredCustomsSpeedShop That's a great axle. I hade one under my Jeep XJ with an Eaton locker and it was unbreakable. 👌

      @@slowshop haha it was a cheap axle with the correct width at the junk yard! So I am super glad that it’s a good one!
