I have always loved the no fender, no chop with splash apron look. The extra "weight" of the aprons balances the tall top and gives perfect proportions.

Experimenting is learning. Hope the viewers appreciate that your having gone through several trial fits attempting to dial in that "just right look" is not uncommon. I've lowered a lot of different old Fords and I'm not sure I've ever done any two exactly alike. Each car, and the chosen theme for that car, requires it's own configuration. Another consideration, this car being an example, once you load it up with upholstery, windshield, fluids, and whatever else, you'll probably gain another 1/2" or so of total drop.

Do you find the stock Model A rear end is usable with hopped up 4 banger and flathead motors? I noticed you have a quick change rear end in your video standing by??
With anything, it's a case of whether you abuse it or not. I try and be gentle to model A rear ends. I haven't broken one yet. But i don't do clutch dumps on pavement either. I do drive them hard. And put miles on them, but I've never broken one. The other rear end you see is actually just a later flathead v8 rear. Not a quick change. Just replacing an axle in that that broke. (SBC powered). I do plan on going over updating a model A to V8 rear in a future video.
I love the stance, similar lowering to my coupe .What measurement do you have at the edge of the side skirt where it goes flat after the curve as a comparison to mine ? mine is 9" edge to the concrete .Brilliant content for budding traditional hot rod builders
Reverse the eyes,perform the vern tardell frame step,,remove 2 leafs,create spacer to replace removed springs.,this leaves 2inches clearence if you want to run fenders.

Matt... just curious , how does a factory Ford suspention & running gear hold up to a set of 60 or 50 series tires ? does it over stress things ?
It will be fine. Your biggest issue will be steering at low speeds.
