The power source for all of animusic, the Fiber bundles are nothing short of legendary. It is the basis of the civilization, and its colorful performance is responsible for powering the Heavy light temple, the drum machine, the harmonic voltage beacon, and everything in between. Entirely automatic, the device is only entered by people once every year for inspection, for the entire planet depends upon its power.
Meanwhile, far below the Heavy Light temple, in the depths of the catacombs, lies another musical secret waiting to be discovered. But only those who are worthy of it's sonic power, may enter the ancient chamber of fiber Bundles. There, after the song is finished, some lucky few just might notice the corridor below the drums. Where it leads is unknown. But legend says that opens up onto an electrified landscape filled with radio towers and strange beams of energy creating a beautiful Harmonic Voltage. But the legends don't stop there. Oh no... There's more. It is also said that in ancient times, sentient mechanical beings traveled far from their homeworld on a Starship called "Groove". When they found a young Earth, they built magnificent structures to create their mysterious, yet beautiful music. It has been thousands of years since those visitors came. Some say that to this day, believers and followers of the ancient ones are still around. There is speak of even more creations like a massive drum machine hidden in a historic clock-tower, or an intricate guitar-like contraption with insect-like "fingers" that plays a beautiful acoustic song. Below that, in another chamber, of the same structure, a long thin shaft contains stringed instruments and drums on delicate curved rails. Or.. or there's the high tech warehouse filled with lasers and reflectors surrounding strange guitar.. I have heard that the one in area 51... But who knows? There is even supposed to be a great cathedral where majestic horns and a great organ is rumored to periodically begin to play. Sadly, these days, it seems that these followers of the ancient ones have gone quiet. No longer building their great musical creations. Maybe they are waiting for something. Maybe the ancients need to return on the Starship Groove, and reignite the passion for music again. Hopefully that day will be soon....

When i listen to some music, similar to this, I do lay back, close my eyes and let imagination do some work. I feel that this is when music can take on a physical format, all-be-it in ones mind. This video is evidence of that as the creator has seen this in their mind they had the talent and ability to take it from their mind and let others see what music can look like.
I remember a discussion I had with a friend, 30 years ago, that when I closed my eyes and listened to music, I could "see" the music. I couldn't really describe it then (no, it wasn't drugs!) Fiber Bundles is very close to what my minds eye was seeing back then...My favorite Animusic!
It's its main power source. Unlike outside, this thing produces different tunes constantly. No one has ever entered inside. So the question is: Who was able to enter the temple and record this spectacle?
For a long time, I imagined this is what a sentient aquatic race's automated entertainment system would look like, what with the organic look to the setup. But then the brain-like wiring setup made it seem like a sentient musically inclined core, such as that of the Starship Groove, and the light pulses its nerve impulses.
Well in the director's commentary of Animusic 2, he mentions that he's played the Ratchet and Clank more than anyone should and it might have had a little influence on this piece.
