I like the videos, but I’ll have to pay closer attention to the time signatures (I’m literate, sort of, but not particularly adept - it doesn’t come naturally to me 🙂).
This'll always be a classic. I don't know if it's the unusual time signature, the robo-sunglasses, the fact that redbot's just jiving in the background, or the fact that apparently even robots can't have a percussion section without a cowbell. Simply incredible

Animusic, especially with the slightly more recognizable individual instrumentalists work because all of them have been given very distinct and subtle flavors of personality to their animation. Something that was most certainly deliberately done. Blue is the chill experienced one, with only his continual bobbing. Red is the vibiest hypeman with slightly more exaggerated bobbing and ofc, his arms. The twins seem like they're swagging with no-look hits on the percussion. The "harpist" is focused with his head-banging to the melody. It's all purposeful and well executed personality, still fucking love it in 2023.

For the longest time, I thought that the pillars of light on the sides of the two keyboards had to be some kinda instrument that I couldn't hear. They are instruments - they're metronomes, playing to keep the rhythm of the song, which is in 7/4 time.
