Love the K Craft it’s been a fantastic river and small lake fishing yak for me, I have the Lite Tackle as well, Crescent just makes really solid yaks.
@@ridder4629 nice thanks for the feedback!
Living in Florida I think this would be a perfect inshore grass flats kayak. Standing and site fishing is a must for me. Thank you for this review
@@jasonmillwood2893 i spent a couple weeks down there and was amazed how much fun this setup was there
@@WadeHarrison I bet! I fish mainly shallow grass flats, you can’t use a prop.. the k craft would be perfect
Great review. Thank you, Wade. I've been looking at this model and you provided a good overview of features and uses.
Glad could help I really enjoyed the time in this platform
Great video. I like your thoroughness when reviewing these boats. Thank you.
Thanks
Wow that really does have multiple setups nice review. I have been looking for something like this and Love that motor setup you have do you have links to that?
Thanks and yes i linked everything in the pined comment and descriptions to the boat and most of the gear.
Oh I see 😊 thanks for all your reviews appreciated them
Thanks for this Wade! Been researching for awhile, looking to try one out in the next few weeks. Will be used as a throw and go for small lakes. What is the yellow wrap on your paddle. I’m assuming it improves grip……wondering what it is and where you get it. Great walk through!
Yeah I use mostly for slow moving rivers but love the quick grab and go setup small lakes and ponds
And the tape is 3m electric high temp tape I put it on all my paddles for grip and visual if drop it
I love your reviews. You seem to hit on all the right things that I would have questions about. I watched another review you did on the Bonafide SKF117 and I was wondering given how similar these boats are, what your thoughts are on how they compare to one another? Thanks!
Yeah i try to cover a lot of the features of these type of boats over whitewater kayaks glad I could help.
And as far as comparison to the skf
I have paddled that one a few times l liked it but didn’t love it if makes sense? the hull was little more edging then the KC and the bow was lower and slightly narrower it had water coming over it at times.
Love the bonafide seat still one the best seats ever on a fishing kayak. Was good to have the adjustments in the seat but that’s was really about it the drop skeg was nicely done I was just thinking it’s not really needed at all in that boat.
The KC just paddles better and offers more features and flexibility in the long run at pretty much the exact price. Me personally KC all day over the SKF
@@WadeHarrison have you got a chance to paddle that little Primo on a river yet? I am really starting to have some fun with that thing.
I want to see how it does with the motor!
I might post something on that later I have the Newport vessel kayak motor and it pushed it very well
@@WadeHarrison Nice! Looking for an affordable motorized kayak I can fly fish out of
How does it compare to the SKF117 in your opinion?
I liked the way the bow on this one over the skf
Thoughts possible platform for me and dog 56lbs
I would think so
Would be fantastic for that, my daughter is 8 and rides on the K Craft with me
