There was one thing I wondered about. Felix said it gets dangerous in Chinatown at night, is that true? I arrive in the evening and was wondering where to get dinner.
I’m a proud Vancouverite, but must honestly say our Chinatown is an embarrassment, it’s located on border of basically skid row, yes be vigilant at night and during the day.
I can't believe this Pacific Northwest series started about a month ago. You two have become one of our favorite TH-camrs since the first Seattle video. I do hope you come back. I'm a transplant to the area myself and you still haven't scratched the surface of how much good food there is up here. The east side of the Seattle area in Bellevue has tons of great food. Mahalo from Issaquah, WA! 🙏🏽
Wow, you hit all the high notes in our beautiful city. Total fanning over here. Love your reactions to all of the yummy food. You should def come back again. Thank you for your vlog. Your one of my favorites now! Mahalo!
Food wise there is almost at nothing more satisfying to watch than a runny gooey egg 😍 the Vietnamese food looked so delicious! Awesome Canada vlogs guys
Man, you guys really had a "working holiday"! Thanks for showing all the wonderful foodie places...I do hope you managed to relax a bit and enjoy yourselves too! Thanks as always for taking us along with you. 🙏🤙
Great food tour, Amanda and Felix!! Wish you could have more time to explore more places. They all looked amazing! Luigi pasta looked amazing and so did the holy trinity place! You gotta show us what you brought back for omiyage to Hawaii! More please! Such a wonderful series! Really enjoyed them all!!🎉👍🏿🥳💕
Hey, good job you two. Phnom Penh is a classic!! The wings are the best. You are very adventurous. I live in North Burnaby and do not make it downtown often. Now, I'm craving Phnom Penh 😊 I have not heard of the Italian resto nor the icecream place. They both looked so good!! Mahalo for featuring Vancouver🇨🇦❤ Looking forward to seeing your next food adventures. 🍔
This looks amazing but I wish you'd list the dishes clearly (either in the description or on-screen) for us dummies who aren't familiar with all the names (referring to the Asian dishes)...thankyou!
I had those noodles but.. I poured the clear soup in the noodles and it was amazing … I think I made it better… I like a lot of broth in my noodles.. You two are really showing us some delicious food… enjoy especially that ice-cream with the honeycomb … stay safe and keep warm 🤙🏼
Hi Amanda and Felix! 🌴🌺 Been loving your food tour videos in Seattle and Canada! Always enjoy all your content whether it be in Hawaii or wherever your adventures take you! 😊💕
We went to Vancouver over the summer and stayed at the Paradox (great hotel but its definitely a scene/party), hope you made it to 48th Parallel for coffee and breakfast a block away. Grew up in Oregon so Vancouver was a frequent visit. Newtown is a must for BBQ pork buns, but yeah, Chinatown/East Hastings is one of the sketchiest areas I've been (and I live in LA). It's still my favorite west coast city. One thing to do next time is to get some fruits that are hard to get on the Mainland, Atemoya/Atis (like a cherimoya) and Lansonnes (kind of like Rambutan).
Canadian 🇨🇦 Chinatown 🇨🇳 Love Amanda’s beanie! More yummy food. You guys are the best part of my Mondays. Thank you for allowing us into your trip, ono eats, and fun times. Mahalo! 🤙🏽 🍜
@@karenl9601 Why is it that we cannot walk into your Canadian McDonald's to order a burger without knowing French first!!!! Da hell's wrong witchu people up there? Imma gonna slappa ya face, wit da wet spahetti. Mama Mia
OMG...mouth is watering. Almost forgot Vancouver's arguably the best for thoughtful, truly diverse cuisine. I had to look up the Italian restaurant for future reference and ideas to replicate at home. Have you guys noticed you've been eating ice cream for dessert? You definitely need to return frequently. A week is never enough to taste the Pacific Northwest.
You guys are eating in some awesome places, you are more adventurous then us.. every time we go to Vancouver we always just stay around Robison st and eat only there
Amanda, you had me at that first dish: Mi Kho Nam Vang? Looked for where I could find it in Chinatown. We love pho and com tam dishes, but want to move on to others.
Aloha Amanda & Felix. Its so interesting the different types of Asian foods and those wings looked delicious! The food looked so good at the Italian restaurant. Looking forward to the next video!
Fantastic video. My 2 favourite places in China town are Phnom Penh and Kam Wai Dim Sum. However you already had dim sum in Richmond. New Town Bakery also is a great Chinese bakery with big portions.
You two are wild for braving it out near Main Street 😅. It's pretty rough down there. I haven't been to Phnom Penh in a while so I'm pretty jealous you got to eat the trifecta
Don't get me wrong I love watching these Seattle and Vancouver vlogs but we also missed your Hawaii vlogs. Any idea when those Hawaii vlogs will start up again?
A lot of Vietnamese/Thai/Cambodian dishes are similar but with slight differences. It’s hard to tell who the original came from sometimes.Cambodia doesn’t have that many dishes to call their own. I think the war and landscape has something to do with it. They had to use what they could get.
A little fun fact about cilantro if it tastes like soap to you it will always taste like soap. It is something in your personal taste buds and genes that causes it
@@AmandaFelixEats I had to do a taste test with my daughter. I grow it in my garden it was spicy so no soap for her. Her aunt though she say all she taste is soap so sorry for.
As a Vancouverite, watching this video made me appreciate my city’s food scene so much more. Thank you and keep up the good work!

This day was for sure an adventure!🥹👌🏻
Love seeing you guys travel and eat food outside of Hawaii!
Awesome highlights of Vancouver foods of Chinatown & a bit of Italy at Ask for Luigi

The creamery here were all so delicious! And yes, very keen observation! 👏 👍
That dish in Vietnamese’s called, “Hủ tiếu mì thập cẩm nước và khô”.

As Amanda was eating the noodles, I was thinking the same, like either pour on the soup or maybe dip the noodles. Good to know it would taste great.
I like both dry and soup noodles 🤤

A soup is for a brown noodle call : MI KHO ( Vietnamese noodle )
Everything looks amazing
I look forward to the out takes every time 😂❤
Omg that chicken wings reminds me of Maple Gardens fried chicken looks like the same batter
Super light and flakey!🤤
Living vicariously again ❤
Always happy to share! 🤙

Mi Kho is both of our faves especially when done right!🤤
Hawaii has the holo card pass. It's used on all busses and handi van and soon to be used on the rail.
Oh that's awesome!
You need to go to Cafe Medina for their Belgium waffles and brunch and you can thank me later.
Ooooh sounds yum! 🤤
About 5 years ago, we had the raw beef and the fried chicken wing 😍 it was so good!
We'd go back just for those!
Yay!! I love this place, can’t wait to go back 😋
Worth the visit! 🤤
Aloha Amanda & Felix. Its so interesting the different types of Asian foods and those wings looked delicious! The food looked so good at the Italian restaurant. Looking forward to the next video!

Felix looks like he went to heaven and came back eating the beef with fried egg 😆

Could you tell us the dishes you had at Phnom Penh? (Sorry not familiar with these dishes) But everything looked delicious!!!
We mentioned it in the scene but it was loud and bustling 😣
@@AmandaFelixEats The background noise wouldn't matter if the dish names were overlayed in text. : )
The dish is called Mi Kho Nam Vang.

Why do you try Chinese food in Canada? Why not show Canadian food??? I'd love to see what Canada has to offer besides Asian food.
Dangerous is subjective. It's Canada after all.
