This was very challenging for me. I wasn’t able to move through every pose but I’m proud of making it through. I really like the, slither through your back bend, bit. That really opened my back in a nice way!

I added this practice to my playlist of fav yoga practices that I would like to repeat. It is such a satisfying practice! Perfect amount of time to hold every posture, slow but challenging at times, amazing ending with the music and lots of stretching, releasing, and relaxing. I love doing long practices in the afternoon when I have most of the energy and my muscles are already exercised after the morning practice. I am also thinking to divide this practice into 2 parts, each 30 min long to do in the morning and in the evening on some days.

I surprised myself in being able to hold a forward fold on my toes. Some balancing work that built some strength. I enjoyed the warm up portion with alternate arm and leg being moved from the vertical to horizontal axis, immediate core engagement and some hip opening too. The strengthening of psoas was distinct in holding one leg straight and then making a wide arc to the back as the upper body shifted forward to come into warrior 3. Bird of paradise, headstand and floor bow included. An overall rounded class.

This was the good old-fashioned traditional vinyasa style practice…loved how you started out with the easy basic asanas & slowly built into the more challenging intermediate asanas. I am again putting forward this question about the Dhanur asanas (bow pose)…is it advisable to keep knees &heels together in this pose or apart? 🩶👩🏻🤍🍑💋👌🏻💪🏻🙏🏻✨🥰
