Bitcoin and similar assets are what we call speculative assets, meaning their value is determined by the next person willing to pay a higher price. Stocks real estate etc are productive assets where there value is derived from things they produce (e.g rents, profits etc.) Hence the term "productive" so there's definitely differences there :)
So nice having an kiwi voice (so many offshore videos that are not relevant). I’m taking one of the main bits of your advice (you guys are my advisors 😊).
Hi Blandon, fantastic video as usual. I would be interested to know, from your point of view, what are some MUST KNOWs and differences when looking to buy an investment property via a new build (Eg. Paying a deposit now and having it built over 1 year with a vendor). I think there will be a lot of value in that video. Thanks mate
It can be simple and can be very complex. But it all comes to your expected return. I'll try something like this in the future. For the meantime, go with this - th-cam.com/video/XWAHCMfuv5M/w-d-xo.html
@@mortgagehq I think they do. Propert is not an independent or isolated asset that used a set math formula. the formula we use depends a great deal on government policy like CGT, tax deductibility, on the markets like employment levels, or interest rates, on demographics like the same house will cost u a million in Auckland but only 500k in Tokoroa etc. etc. In NZ, the property market has had a few changes in those variables and the formula should be adjusted according. For instance, there was a time and maybe there Still is in some area, where buying a house was cheaper than paying rent, ie the rent was actually higher than mortgage or at least unrecoverable expenses. Now a friend is renting a hous for $550. The house is valued at 1.2 million. if he was to buy it, he will need first the 200k deposit . then take over 800k mortgage. with that unrecoverable expensive will be way higher than his rent. way higher. unless one is speculating on capital growth, that house will be cash flow negative for the foreseeable future.

Yupp risk come from lack of knowledge
DON'T UNDERSTAND = DONT INVEST
Spread your money among different asset categories like Bitcoin and stocks, then further allocate those funds within each category
The rich invest their money first into assets instead of purchasing liabilities, take a wise decision today to buy and invest in crypto currency
Investing in crypto is lucrative and a big chance to make money online
I wanted to trade crypto but got confused by the fluctuations in price

Hey. Do you think it would be a wise thing to buy a house now or wait 6 or more months and see how prices go.
