I mean these are completely different circumstances First off She was younger/ less experienced and immature at that point in the war so she wasnt fully aware of her faults at that point and her trying to threaten Ventress with a 'merciful death' was her being impulsive. (I mean she was a teenager afther. What teen isnt impulsive) Second, Her not wanting to kill people is completely understandable afther experiencing war (if she doesnt have to that is.) and especially afther ashoka learned about the inhinitor chips in all the clones. Who were forced to comply with order 66 so they are more of an innocent party here. Ventress however is not so innocent as she acted on her own accord and no qualms about killing anyone who stood in her path.

She was right. Form 2, Makashi, does not ideally lend itself to duel wielding, so a simplification of the technique is necessary. Incorporating aspects of Ataru, Niman and Juyo would accentuate it well for two lightsabers, but the Makashi element would have to be more contemporary.
I love that Ventress handed Luminara's arse to her on a plate. If Ahsoka hadn't arrived at the last second, Luminara would be dead because she was foolish enough to taunt a more talented warrior. Ventress knew how to use her surroundings to her advantage on top of being Luminara's equal in power and skill. Strength and talent are potent on their own but Ventress could also strategise and improvise on the fly.
wish we saw more of luminara's fighting style. so elegant and efficient. not a movement wasted, very few vulnerable openings. every block and strike is so precise and swift.
What stage Ahsoka? Cause Fulcrum Ahsoka would shred Ventress. She landed hits on Vader. Mid clone wars would be a good match. End of clone wars she beat Maul. Ahsoka certainly follows Anakin and Obi Wans legacy of taking on Sith Lords.

Killed jedi like Qui Gon, and able to take multiple jedi at once. Assej has combat skill, but Maul was trained in a school where you couldn’t use force powers and you have to use fighting capability. His strength is on a league of his own, one punch from Maul would knock out Ventress 😂

It reminded me of the show Reboot haha. It looked smoother than this on Netflix, but maybe it's because of the 4k filter. Some things don't belong in 4k.
Something I noticed is as cruel as Venntress is she never fights Ahsoka seriously, she always saw her as a brainwashed child soldier, and it almost doesn't feel like plot armor that she holds back against her everytime they fight . She nearly killed luminara and was excited at the prospect and she's one of the only people in the galaxy that's aniken's equal she has nothing to fear from Ahsoka she just legit would rather not kill a kid .

Threatened to kill her (still probably just getting in his head ) and then gave him his scar before he used the force to tangle her up in power lines and then let her free fall into corrasaunt . i just love how ventress quickly and calmly comes in, dispatches some soldiers and then moves on but slowly starts to crackle up with her anger as ahsoka refuses to die after each saber stroke. equally, i love how calmly, passionlessly and methodically luminara arrives and deals with the crisis, the absolute antithesis of ventress's approach psychologically and physically, but arguably just as effective, both at their level pinnacle. love her or hate her, one cannot deny that luminara's entrance into the fray is badass, and ventress for a good moment did not know whether she could stay and fight lumi. her look alone is as equal parts intimidating and beautiful as ventress with her bald pale viper mannerism. you cannot help but want to see them both push everyone else aside and get stuck into each other. after all, both have alot to learn from one another with their respective knowledge gaps. and luminara is a complicated combatant, because she's not physically imposing, but she's very fit.. she's not overwhelmingly powerful, but she's crafty and subtle. she's not an accomplished duelist, but she can survive hordes on geonosis twice, has mastered form 3 and has a working knowledge of 3 others. she's not a top tier strategist, but she is present at every war room meeting and rigorously prepares for every mission. she's a jedi swiss army knife.

I know right. Re-examining Star Wars as an adult, the Jedi Order and Republic are not the shining beacons of morality I percieved them as. Going around taking children from their families, then tossing what are essentially child soldiers into political intrigue, assassination plots, lethal missions, and active war zones. But at the same time you cant really have force sensitives just running around the galaxy so its not like there's not a reason. If the population was full of unchecked force wielders the results would probably be even worse, so I guess its kinda justified but still.
I basically fell in love with Asajj Ventress from The Clone Wars that She is the cutest villain as I will never lay my eyes off with her and I have to savor it! 💛😍💛

Ventress and Ahsoka should've had a rivalry throughout the series. It just felt like that was similar to a Kim Possible and Shego rivalry due to the fact that Ahsoka was the Kim Possible of Star Wars. Too bad the rivalry between Ventress and Ahsoka didn’t continue as they reluctantly teamed up in the fifth season.
I don't know if this hot take or not but Jedi Master Luminara Unduli is my personal choice for least favorite Jedi in Star Wars. Originally, it was Mace Windu but I rewatched The Clone Wars and I realized Windu wasn't all bad. He had some decent moments as a Jedi and General despite being a jerk most of the time. Luminara, however, didn't really have any decent moments at least to my recollection. I will admit she was skilled especially since she's a Jedi Guardian. However, she didn't put in the same effort Anakin did to save her padawan when Barriss and Ahsoka were trapped on Geonosis. I understand she was willing to let her padawan go when it's time but she should have done what Anakin did and do what she can to find her padawan. On top of all that her arrogance almost got her killed and she didn't listen to Ahsoka who warned her about Ventress. The only reason she didn't die at 3:34 was because Ahsoka disobey her order to stay. Overall, if I had to choose to go a mission with Luminara or Windu it would definitely be Windu.
Ventress technically isn't "hairless", she shaves her head. She's been seen with hair in flashbacks/Bad Batch/Dark Disciple. This scene should be remastered into modern TCW S7/TOJ style graphics. Being the first season, the animation is a bit stiff here. (Ahsoka, Greivous, Yoda, Obi Wan and Anakin's model from TCW s1-2 were remastered in TOJ series and Ventress' model has been updated in BB so it's not out of this world)
Ahsoka was only half right about a Jedi fighting Ventress alone, being too much for Luminara or Ahsoka or any other Jedi unless they are Anakin, Obi-Wan and Yoda.
How the fuck is Ahsoka (14 year old youngling who has only been in combat a few weeks) holding her own against Ventress (30 year old war lord who conquered her planet RATTATAK single handedly)? This shows continuity is terrible

@@Dortnited Ahsoka while she was at her best in terms of skill in that fight, she was not phyiscally due to lack of food and sleep. Barriss is a good duelist as she held her own against Anakin but without a direct fight between Luminara and Barriss it's uncertain who is better.

Luminara was very annoying at times but her fighting style was very elegant. She was very underrated tbh and her whole demeanor made her very unique

However, she didn't put in the same effort Anakin did to save her padawan when Barriss and Ahsoka were trapped on Geonosis. I understand she was willing to let her padawan go when it's time but she should have done what Anakin did and do what she can to find her padawan. On top of all that her arrogance almost got her killed and she didn't listen to Ahsoka who warned her about Ventress. The only reason she didn't die at 3:34 was because Ahsoka disobey her order to stay. Overall, if I had to choose to go a mission with Luminara or Windu it would definitely be Windu.

Ventress technically isn't "hairless", she shaves her head. She's been seen with hair in flashbacks/Bad Batch/Dark Disciple.
This scene should be remastered into modern TCW S7/TOJ style graphics. Being the first season, the animation is a bit stiff here. (Ahsoka, Greivous, Yoda, Obi Wan and Anakin's model from TCW s1-2 were remastered in TOJ series and Ventress' model has been updated in BB so it's not out of this world)

@@Dortnited Ahsoka while she was at her best in terms of skill in that fight, she was not phyiscally due to lack of food and sleep. Barriss is a good duelist as she held her own against Anakin but without a direct fight between Luminara and Barriss it's uncertain who is better.
