I want to purchase this but the thing is I'm not very good with mechanical stuff or wiring cause I have never tried. Is it easy to figure out how to install this and do everything that's needed? I have a 2017 crf 230
Hello, thanks for watching and commenting. It's not terribly difficult. There are very good instructions that come with the kit. As long as you read them thoroughly and take your time you should be able to install it.
I smashed my stock speedo and am looking at buying this to replace. Is there a way to transfer the original hours & kms over also can it be transferred to kms instead of mph?

Hi Manuel, yes this will work on your bike. The computer has its own internal battery so your motorcycle doesn't have to have a battery to run it.Thanks for watching.

Hello, yes there is an ATV kit version. No it does not have a check engine light.
If my bike dont has a interface what do i need to make the connections work ?
Hello, all the installation information is in the instructions. if your bike has a 12v battery, then you will connect to that. If your bike doesn't have a battery then you connect the power leads to ignition power leads from the stator.
i ahve this on awr450, is there a way to get the backlight to stay on so you see it when night riding?

Hi Easton, the trail tech operates off of a 12v motorcycle battery. Unless you've added a battery to your bike to run lights or something, your bike doesn't have a battery.Most people who have dirt bikes install hour meters on their dirt bikes. These have electrical leads that get wrapped around the spark plug wires and operate off of the electrical pulses running through the spark plug wires. Another option is a wireless hour meter which uses vibration from the engine to monitor hours. Here's a wired hour meter: www.chapmoto.com/hardline-products-hour-tach-meter-321-1910

Hello, to enter Endurance II set up menu, press and hold buttons 1, 2, and 3 for three seconds. Make sure to press and hold all 3 buttons at the same time. Set your clock to desired time of day using button 1 or 2.
