Im getting strange performance with this card.I have the 11gb version along with 32 gb of ram and its like my card is being blocked from running at full capacity so I get only 40 to 50 frames at 3440x1440 even. The pc is brand new, vsync is off and the nvidia power settings are set to max performance but no matter what I change the frames won't increase. In games, its like its trying to run at 90 to 100 fps but windows 10 or something has put a performance limiter on it because I get small stutters that are 60 fps.
i found this brand new on ebay for 525 and i bought it even tho i have a 1080ti but its the founders i will enjoy the better temps. and slightly better fps, and turn around and sell my current one for 300 bucks, so its a win win.
Guys help, i installed this Gtx 1080ti on my pc, uninstalled all drivers using DDU and re-installed it again. ALL THE GAMES I'M PLAYING KEEPS CRASHING AFTER 2-5 MINUTES INTO THE GAME. Someone please help, My specs: I7 6700k Aourus Gtx 1080ti (same one as this video) Psu: rm 650w
tek, should i get the Acer GN246HL 144hz 1080p monitor or a cheap 1440p? btw my specs : i5-6500 , gtx 1060 3gb , 8gb ram i also took a look at some benchmarks and in 1440p the 1060 is going to be at around 40 fps on medium D:
Machinegunbenji the 3GB version of the GTX 1060 is not as good as the 6GB model. Not only in terms of Vram but performance as well. Nvidia made the 6gb model more powerful than the 3gb.
Got mine today on offer up for $360 tho the metal plate that covers the display ports is kinda bent and missing screws the price you pay for used. I was a bit confused by all the different aorus designs for the back plate
I actually rotate the GPU's from time to time, I only need GPU for editing basically, I play some Overwatch here and there, while If I want to play something newer, which is actually rarely, I do it on the test rig!
@@MattsPaddock I have this card and i have su much temp in my opinion on the 1920x1080p resolution and 75Hz monitor. @@Andrew00715 yo guys do you have any problems with the fans? I saw a lot of negative comments of that problem with extreme edition. And what about coil whine, is there any kind of it?
@@mario_2259 late reply, but no problems whatsoever. Running this in a not-very-cool case (no fans at all) and the cooler keeps this beauty at about 32-35 idle celsius at 20-25% rpm and about 72-73 in load at 50-60% fan speed. By default the fan program makes them start only at 60 degrees (and card idles at 50-55 in this case), but i found that's way too hot for me as it was affecting my cpu temps also. Sound-wise, also pretty clean even at 50-60% fan speed. Never got higher than that in gaming.
I'm flooring it with once again with the GTX 1080 Ti, while I wait for the GTX 1070 Ti! 🏎😁

What are you temps for the GPU and CPU?
TekTick
GPU goes to about 75c - 80c then crashes
Hey TekTick can you please review the asus GTX 1070ti Cerberus when it comes out?
I'll try to get my hands onto one, but I can't make any promises. Been trying to reach out to Asus for some time, but nothing... :(
Got mine yesterday after selling my 1080 extreme edition. I reach on high load 73c? I guess it's normal? It was Forza horizon 3 ultra 4k 60fps.
That's good!
@@MattsPaddock so it's normal. Thanks.
No problem!
Tek, do you think a gtx1060 can run games in 1440p properly at high / medium settings?
Yes, it and RX 580 are ideal for 1440p!

What’s the difference between this and the extreme version?
More RGB in back plate that's all
pls tell me tektick when did this graphic card release i cant find the date
This particular or the series in general?
Managed to get this card for 414.30 USD used

And here am I, with my RX480 in my setup haha.
Just wondering, what is your OWN setup? Couldn't find it anywhere.
My own setup is 5960X, 32 GB DDR4, GTX 1050 Ti and around 1 TB of SSD roughly!
nice setup, although I'm wondering why (only) a 1050Ti? Don't you play GPU heavy games like BF1 etc.?

haha the benefit of being able to rotate cards xD I now fully understand why you like making reviews ;P
