I wasn't sure I wanted to get one of these until I watched your video, now I am sure. Excellent instruction, I don't know your background but you sound like a military instructor. Generally they're very knowledgeable and know what they're talking about backward and forward.
@@ShreddedDad thanks for the heads up. Do you happen to know if a version where the lat tower is adjustable (ie able to make it shorter) is in development? That would be perfect!
@@123.MikeCheck We don't have plans to make the tower adjustable at the moment. We want the unit to be as solid as possible for individuals who want the power tower + if someone is shorter, they can put the treadmill down and use that as their starting platform.
3:41 thank you so much for explaining this. I was confused because I knew that number three was the hardest level but then on that one dial that goes up to seven it didn’t make sense. I love that it uses the pop pin so it’s so easy to change and you don’t have to unscrew anything. ❤
You did a fantastic and thorough job on this review! Mine is scheduled to arrive today and I can't wait. Your video will be indispensable when I set it up and start using it. Thanks again!
I ordered this end of May but they just now told me i wont get it til September. Pretty disappointed that they did not tell me and i had to message multiple times, even tho i bought it and it stated it would ship end of May. Awesome looking piece of equipment but the company really dropped the ball with me. Really not sure i want to get one after my experience.
@shreddeddad what do you think would be the problem if I can't get the treadmill to move easily without feeling like it's stuck? I have no resistance on the machine, and I can't get it to work with my hands just on the uprights like you've shown here. Instead, I need to be in a full sled position with my hands much lower to even get the treadmill to move. I've tried tightening and loosening the belt as well. Fortunately tip bar guy support has not been as helpful as I hoped.
You need something to create counter force. I’ve done them with sandbags where the front of the bags touch the SledTred Another way I use it is by tying a sled strap around my waist and connecting it to an upright so it creates counterforce and I can use the SledTred hands free
Do you have any clips of you using the sled function on the highest level? I have a torque sled, but I'd like something I could use in the winter, but want to make sure it's difficult enough.
I don’t but I can shoot something quick when I get a chance Send me a DM on Instagram (@dadshredded) and I can show you It’s supposed to mimic 300 lbs of resistance which is not hard if you get low since you can throw your bodyweight into it Using it at a higher angle makes it harder (more legs, less bodyweight) I use it mainly for long distance sled pushes on the hardest setting and sprints on the lowest setting
Hi, I have one delivered and assembled yesterday. My computer does not track. I dont have holder for the tracker (c), so where or how should I place or align this to make tracking functional? I can only set either of the 3 but it does not track at all. Hope for your response.
The tracker is below the treadmill belt Contact the Tib Bar Guy here and they should be able to help you work this out ➡️ thetibbarguy.com/pages/support
Thanks for the response. I will see and try how to do it properly. Also, the tracker tip is pinched but somehow looks cracked when I received it, not sure if its the design. Im waiting for their response.
I’ve never tried the Sunny Health treadmill but if it’s just for walking I think it should work Have you read if you can lean into the front rail on Sunny Health?
@@ShreddedDad I haven't used it. I just saw a video of a guy using it for sledding & reverse sledding with an additional hack using a dip belt, carabiners, & straps to lean into reverse sleds a bit more leaning back in the opposite direction while supported by the belt & straps. Your machine looks more robust. If I buy, I'll use your discount code 👍

@@ShreddedDad I appreciate the reply! Yeah I was referring to The belt. So if my belt is veering off to the left side, does that mean I need to tighten that bolt on the left?
I did get mixed up a bit on the cable set up that’s connected to the dial and magnets on the right flywheel but aside from that everything is straight forward
Trying to shop for a treadmill as well for the wifey. Would this allow for her just to use as a walking treadmill for her since I want to use it for all the other components.
The treadmill is rated at 300 lbs of resistance so if you do more than that then it wouldn’t be a good option for you I use it more for distance when using the sled And yeah the hip thrust pad feels good
My concern with this device is that I'm unsure if the max resistance is enough. "300lb" is hard to quantify with sleds. Pushing a 300lb sled can be easy or impossible depending on the surface. Right now I'm using 245lb up a road with a slight grade on a wood sled with TrekDek skids. I need something I can do indoors in the winter or when it's otherwise undesirable to be outside training. This looks like the ticket, but I don't want to drop nearly $1k to find out it's "easy"
I find it challenging when using it for long distances It also depends on how you use it If you get low and throw your bodyweight into it then it feels easier than if you were to grab it higher where you have less leverage and you use more legs than bodyweight
It’s supposed to mimic 300 lbs on a sled. It all depends on how you set up. If you set up high it feels very difficult but if you get low, it doesn’t feel too hard because you put your weight into it. When I get low I use it more for long distances
@jon.a Exergenie is nice and used by astronauts but…..this is for indoor use and is a Swiss army knife that does most of the ATG exercises. This could be your main piece in your gym if you don’t already have a rack also
I would like to have had some comments on the quality of the rolling fabric that your tear with shoes.. is it long lasting, or will it break down, with any spareparts, for the eu customor, who once payed a good amount for shipment, and two years later, it needs replaced. I know its perhaps not something to have knowledge on, but this is neverthe less what comes to me, because this piece is first and foremost indoor sled training. Also, the nordic curl footage, shows, the treamill kinda slide backwards as you go up, so it seems counter productive, and i wonder if the exercise can even actually work properly then, with multible reps… thanks for review.. i was looking for it.
I don’t know the durability of the belt but I’d imagine is similar to other manual treadmill belts. With the belt set to the hardest setting it shouldn’t move during Nordics
Fyi, careful of the pull knobs, caveat, you may not be able to detach it as easily as in the video if you threaded it until it holds on to the bar, it makes the outer thread of the pull knob stick out of the holders ring/platform, so, it wont slide as easy if you dont loosen or align it back first
First of all the cable that attaches to flywheel is impossible to hook up and secondly the pull out for the other flywheel is impossible to pull out basically don’t buy until all the initial issues are worked out with this product very frustrated with this piece of equipment so far just my opinion
You gotta pull the cable until it reaches the other end so that it’s taught. Pull it hard, you right break it. For the other flywheel, pull hard sideways then slide the pin back or forward

You can’t go hands free like a regular treadmill.
This is a manual treadmill that requires a little bit of counter force to get it moving
Do you think this is a legitimate alternative to a sled? And do u remember if the hip thrust attachment was just as good as using a bench?
The treadmill is rated at 300 lbs of resistance so if you do more than that then it wouldn’t be a good option for you

How difficult is the max setting for the average gym goer?
