      I've tried the Dreadmill in their showroom. It's not motorized. I found it could get moving fast and not have enough resistance. I think its a fraction of the price of this Xebex though.

      Lol you can't compare the dreadmill to the Xebex sledtrac 6000 it blows it away hands down, a more fair comparison would be the dreadmill to the Xebex Trekker 4000 which is $1,000 cheaper and in my opinion Trekker 4000 wins.The dreadmill uses magnetic flywheels resistance i doubt flywheels have enough power to fully mimic the resistance of a real sled. But Xebex uses a generator which produce more resistance than a real sled.

    I ordered the Sled Tred by the Tibbar guy. Should be coming in the next 2 weeks and I will be doing a review on it. With tax and shipping, it barely hit $1000 but has EVERYTHING. Perfect for the space I have at home.
    I’m doing the ATG training and this thing hits 90% of all the exercises I am currently doing. The only other things I would get to compliment this in my gym is:
    1. Bands for assisted or resisted training during calisthenics on the SledTred
    2. Bench
    3. Barbell
    4. Dumbbells
    5. Floss bands
    6. Hanging leg raise straps
    7. Mat to use for Nordics on the Sledtred
    8. Slant board
    9. Tib bar
    10. Weighted vest or belt to attach weight too

      How is the sledtread working out for you?

    • @Fitforacting
      @Fitforacting หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@JV2088 I love it so far. I do have some complaints. It seems every other workout I have to readjust tightness on the belt as it tends to go too much to one side. It’s not as bad as it was when I first got it. I do wish a couple of things were different on it though.
      I wish the pull-up bar extended over at least 2 inches more. With the treadmill down my knees tend to touch the floor, and when I keep the treadmill up my knees can end up hitting the bottom of the treadmill. Also the spacing for the pull-up bar if you’re like me 6’3” it’s a little bit tight so it’s not comfortable for big hands to do certain kinds of pull-ups, but it does feel stable. It would’ve been nice if the handles were knurled instead of the rubber it seems like overtime it might end up, slipping off of the pull-up handles.
      I do wish the price was better. To ship to Los Angeles, mine was $1000. For the money I could have gotten another rack.
      The owner is amazing!!! I will say that there is no money back guarantee UNLESS you don’t open the box but then still might lose some money on shipping. I don’t want to bad mouth them at all. Just sharing my experience

    • @JV2088

      @Fitforacting thanks for taking the time to respond. Yeah, the owner seems like he actually cares from what I've seen. I guess i wouldn't have those problems, I'm only 5'7.
      The resistance is challenging? I really like the sledtrac based on this review but I don't know anyone who actually has used one. while looking for info, I found the Matrix S - & it seems to have really good reviews. I can get one used for about 1000.

    Hey Coop! Thanks so much for the review of the SledTrac 6000!
    I think you hit the nail on the head with this review. We wanted to offer a robust, commercial quality treadmill that does all the treadmill things well + integrated sled mode that has plenty of resistance, ability to go both forward and back, and the dynamic handlebar which more closely mimics a real sled. Thanks Coop!

    • @meisdetermined
      @meisdetermined 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I liked The Tib bar guy model as well. You can hit upper and lower body with it. Instead of changing angles like the freak athlete one, you can attach bands to the pull up bar that can assist with nordics. You’ll need to buy a pad for your knees but that is minimal cost. The reverse hyper on the freak athlete is definitely sub par so I don’t even consider that a movement lol. With the Sledtred being cheaper than the Torque tank but offering about three times as many exercises, it actually seemed like a bargain.

In the winter I like it to be at least 30 degrees F out because I think wearing gloves for them is cheating(in terms of grip work.) I own an Armorcast sled I use for pushes and a basic "generic" sled I use for pulls on my lawn. When it comes to dragging weight behind me, walking either forward or backwards, I own an inexpensive speed sled that I take over to the 4 acre park across the street from my house. I also have 100 feet of rope that I attach to the speed sled for "hand over hand" work. I prefer being outside as much as possible so I would never buy the product Coop reviewed in this video or the one I mentioned. I was just throwing the Dreadmill into the conversation as a possible alternative for those that actually are interested in this sort of "thing." If you read this whole reply, Thank You. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.

I have the Xebex Trekker 4000 Get RXd, a non-electric non motorized manual Treadmill / sled has 27% incline uses a built-in small generator instead of magnetic resistant thing is bad ass you don't have to purchase a separate sled and go outside to use it where people look at you like you crazy you can do your sled work inside, for only $1k bucks you can't beat it. Glad i didn't buy the curved tredmill for $4k.

    I'm in the market for treadmills and I came across this one. I will say I do like how this has the sled option being that I train for Hyrox. Currently my number 1 pick is the Norditrack X22i for other reasons. The Xebex is actually $300 more than the Norditrack, at least from what I've seen. It claims to have a sled type feature as well. But seeing this review just gave me another option to be able to take care of my run workouts as well as sled efforts. @Garagegymreviews would you recommend something like this for athletes that train for Hyrox? Also, is this treadmill compatible with ZWIFT?

    • @xebexfitness
      @xebexfitness 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The SledTrac 6000 IS compatible with Zwift! I think the SledTrac 6000 is a great choice for athletes that train for Hyrox, as it's one of the only motorized treadmills that have built-in sled functions. Compared to the NordicTrack X22i, in my opinion, you should choose the SledTrac 6000 if you want the built-in sled function, better build quality, more robust/durable machine, ability to go both forwards and backwards for walking and sledding, and are comfortable using 3rd party apps such as ZWIFT or Kinomap for connected training. The NordicTrack x22i doesn't seem to have a sled function (they just have "sled handlebars"), but it does have their own iFit software which I've never used before, but is probably a decent option for on-demand training classes.
