    Hey mate, just found your channel, great content. I live south of Adelaide and it’s great to watch you do a variety of local spots that I know well.

      Hi mate, thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. I'm not the most entertaining bloke but if I can help someone get out and have some fun while catching a feed, I'm happy.

    Another good video, with some nice underwater footage. Just subscribed to your channel, been meaning to for a while. I'm the guy that bought your Hobie Compass recently 👍. Haven't hit the water with it yet, when the weather 's been good I've been busy or had other commitments but plan to soon.
    Sounds like you bought your boat you said you were planning on doing, good luck with that, look forward to more kayak and hopefully soon some boating footage. You may need to add "Boat &" to your "Kayak Fishing in S.A." channel title. 😉

      Hi mate, you haven't used the Compass yet?? Sounds like my life sometimes, plan on heading out on a day off then the night before getting called into work. It really sucks sometimes. Took the boat out for its maiden voyage yesterday, had a good time but still love the kayak fishing. Thanks for watching and subscribing.

      Yeah happy I didn't go home empty handed. Would have been good to stay for the tide change but the strong wind just came out of nowhere again 😫

    Very enjoyable again mate. Red 3.0 is my go to when it's overcast or at night on a jetty.

      Hi mate, I knew they were from the Wrasse family, probably a lot of different types in S.A. Tried eating one before but found it to be a bit mushy. Thanks for watching.

    Hey Terry, great video mate! I was just wondering what make and model is your fish finder?

    • @kayakfishingins.a4327
      @kayakfishingins.a4327  11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks mate, appreciate the comment. The fishfinder in a Garmin UHD 75 SV. I've just removed it and put it on my boat. I'll be looking for something else for the kayak soon.

      Hi mate, I got the unit from Tamar Marine in Tasmania who were clearing them out for $999. Everywhere else they were $1,600. I just look for specials, sometimes BCF or Anaconda, wherever I can find a good deal at the time.

    I’ve never tried them but some people reckon the wrasse are good eating. Supposed to be poor man’s lobster

      @kayakfishingins.a4327  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey Tezza! Yeah I suppose it depends on how its cooked. I had one steamed once and it was a bit mushy.

    • @tezzaskayakfishing
      @tezzaskayakfishing 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@kayakfishingins.a4327 yeah, I’ve heard they’re mushy too. Also good bait for gummy shark and snapper. I’d assume good crab bait too?

    Hiya mate been watching your yak vlogs, really enjoying them as I'm also in Adelaide. I just picked a hobie outback, I saw a vid you made with a electric motor you installed. Just wondering you've seemed to stop using it, is there any reason why ?

    • @kayakfishingins.a4327
      @kayakfishingins.a4327  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi mate, yes that was with my PA14 that I sold. Sometimes it was more of a hassle to use, much longer to set up, extra weight, and just more to worry about. Thanks for watching.
