    Would this be a good choice over the mirage glx cvt hatchback? Also, is the ground clearance really that low?

    • @ZigWheelsPhilippines
      @ZigWheelsPhilippines  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you're looking for a more redfined and powerful driving experience, then yes this is certainly a good option over the Mirage. The Mitsubishi might be a tad more affordable, though but definitely more fuel efficient.
      The ground clearance of the Brio as per Honda PH is a decent 137mm which is still higher than the Civic and even the City if you need a reference with its stable mates :-). The Wigo and Mirage offer higher clearances but being lower to the ground adds more stability because of its lower center of gravity, hence the more refined drive of the Brio.

      The vios has 133mm ground clearance and the brio has 137mm. But the vios rack up sales like hotcakes. Ground clearance is irrelevant if youre living inca city. Also brio is not for everyone. I've been crazy thinking which to buy.
    Geely emgrand comfort, a comfortable and affordable car yet quite not as fuel efficient;
    Raize e cvt, a little pricier yet a subcompact crossover and fuel efficient; or
    Brio, affordable and fuel efficient yet quite small for a family car.
    Looking for our fist family car that won't hurt so much our pockets.
    I hope you could help me decide or suggest something better.
    Thank you!

    • @ZigWheelsPhilippines
      @ZigWheelsPhilippines  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Looks like space or fuel efficiency are your main considerations! The Raize may well be the middle ground of those two considerations. The Emgrand being the space king and the Brio being the fuel economy winner. Can you decide which of the two factors you would like to prioritize for sure?

    • @peterpandamdager5050
      @peterpandamdager5050 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      they said that the drive comfort of Raize is not that good, they prefer the Vios or the Rush. Reliability is still a concern for the Geely, so among your choices, the Brio is the best pick.

    • @a.a.a.8857
      @a.a.a.8857 2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      I had the same considerations and it took me almost half a year to decide 😅.
      We are a family of 4 and I tested the cars within our budget(raizeE cvt, wigo trd, brio rs, vios xe cvt, and dzire ags).
      Raize and wigo felt the same, raize was just larger and more elevated than the wigo. There was too much vibrations at 100kph and up and the rear seats felt to small/tight. Vios was very nice to drive but it is not that fuel efficient(trust me I am gentle on the gas pedal), especially if the usual route is on edsa(but the ride was great though). I almost bought the dzire ags but I had doubts about its transmission and safety rating - which is why I ended up buying the Brio RS cvt. The brio is spacious, surprisingly, enough for a family of 4. The rear seats is larger than our superman vios. Good torque, fuel consumption is around 9-13kpl edsa to taguig and back(so much better on highways), very smooth ride👌, and the engine is really quiet. I even tried 4 adults and 2 kids from metro manila to Legaspi and it was fine, real fine. The only con that I can think of is the ground clearance, there are workarounds to it though 🥰 Hope this helps 🙏

      @fritzgerardlim3836 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@a.a.a.8857 This helps a lot, thank you for this! I am also actually conflicted between Toyota Raize e-cvt and Honda Brio v-cvt. For the past few weeks, my heart was already set for Honda Brio v-cvt but the price suddenly spiked 2 weeks ago from 680k to 742k, making the price a little close to Toyota Raize e-cvt (816K). But I'm willing to sacrifice space if the performance of Honda Brio is as good as you say it is, given you already tried both of them and you chose Brio, I might consider buying that too. We are also a family of 4 and we live in Legazpi, not so much traffic here but the roads are a bit bumpy/uneven and we have inclined roads. I do have a question if you don't mind, is it true that Honda's maintenance is more expensive than Toyota? I heard that even the change oil requires the Honda Oil and nothing else.

      @a.a.a.8857 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@fritzgerardlim3836 For comparison, wigo and brio pms(latest generations) respectively:

      10,000km - 5k/6k
      15,000km- 4.5k/na
      20,000km- 8k/8k
      Those are estimates and we've removed, from the casa's quotation, all that we think are unnecessary or not a priority. And the wigo is my brother's. Hence, my Brio costs less than my brother's wigo, in terms of PMS.
      Yeah, the driving exp of the Brio is better to be frank. Wont have a problem on inclines in a Brio, and a driver always has to carefully and slowly go through uneven/rough roads(regardless of the car). Easy choice for me, and I'd still go for the Brio despite the price increase.
      *lookout for the Nissan Magnite. It has better reviews than raize/rocky.

Engine over reverse cam and apple/android head unit!! Mas maiintindihan ko pa kumg yung ground clearance ang icompare 😁
