    Please do not call him a bad word. I would advise you to not use insults. They may turn people away that would otherwise watch the video. That does not mean one can not make any jokes. One can. For example, you made his beard longer and showed another atheist as a kangaroo and Pruss as another non-human. But, obviously, this naming after an animal is an insult.
    But I agree, obviously, the universe is not eternal and was caused by God, specifically indentified as Jehovah God by Biblical revelation.

    • @bobmiller5009

      I’m a bit torn as to whether or not to include insults I’m leaning more insults for a few reasons 1) my Goal is be honest after that it’s nice to convince people and be nice but if I think somebody is an ape “they are intellectually clumsy and come across as an overconfident fool” and additionally they deserve to be made fun of “for being a terrible person independently” I prefer to say so as this is my honest review.
      2) some people like Matt treat people like Craig so poorly where Matt won’t engage with his actual ideas no amount of patient humble philosophical correction will change this “pruss, Josh etc are left untouched by Matt” the language Matt speaks is tribalistic philosophy that’s what he cares about that’s what he’ll engage with.
      3) many online atheists are absolute bullies especially to those less philosophically capable than themselves nobody seems to be standing up to them with the same energy I think it’s about time someone does.
      4) some professional theist philosophers like Josh are to nice and or professional to call stupidity when they see it I think this can mislead some into giving far more credence than necessary to fringe/ridiculous philosophical positions I’m also sick of this. I can go on and on I appreciate the worry but I think I’m going to stick to the rule of replicating an equal attitude to the person too whom I’m talking and in Matt’s case he deserves what he got

    Have you tried to write it down and sending him a written version? You talk very fast and to be honest its really annoying to listen to like this. Maybe next time put up some captions or atleast some guiding text. Like this your minecraft gameplay is more distracting.

    • @bobmiller5009
      @bobmiller5009  หลายเดือนก่อน

      I actually just interacted with him, and he’s a dishonest liar. He doesn’t care about philosophy or the truth, and he won’t adjust his position. As for me talking fast, needing captions, guiding text, and distracting gameplay, duly noted. Thanks for the constructive criticism.

    Since you've defined "begins to exist" to include rearrangement of existing material. It seems trivial that things can cause themselves. Simple gravitational collapse allows a cloud of material to become a sphere, for example.
