I love John Prine. When I was a teenager, listening to music in the early 70s a lot of artists would have the words of the songs in/on the albums. I really liked that.
Saeed, so glad your continuing your Prine reactions. I have listened to this and all his music for over 50 years now and I consider it a gift that keeps on giving. So blessed to have seen him over 20 times in my life and each one was magic. He was a true artist and wonderful human being,
I love John Prine. There are too many great songs to list, and you really can’t go wrong with any of them. Here’s a random lyric of his: “Grandpa’s in the front yard starin’ at a rake; wonders if his marriage was a terrible mistake.”
I still tear up when I see John Prine.videos. He’s one of my.two favorite song writers. I gave my husband tickets to his Tree of Forgiveness tour for his sobriety birthday. Best gift I ever gave him. It was his last tour. So grateful.
Thanks Saeed. Yes great storytelling. Sometimes a ant hill can look like a mountain and afterwards you can laugh about that becauese the matter was resolved so easy. Love the humor. As always a great reaction. Greetings from South Africa
Souvenirs, Spanish Pipedream, Dear Abby, Lonesome Friends of Science, In Spite of Ourselves. A couple of his songs say it all in the title: “Your Flag Decal Won’t get you into Heaven Anymore” or “Come Back to us, Barbara Lewis Hari Krishna Beauregard”
When I was a kid and I would have a huge problem, my great grandpa would say: "Relax, Chicken Little, the sky isn't falling, it's just drizzling rain". Made me step back and look at whatever problem I was facing, and most of the time, I realized it wasn't really a big problem.
Great song, great reaction, terrible choice of video. There must be a better version than some random cel phone capture from the audience. Sound quality was trash.
Happy enchilada to all the Prine fans and soon to be Prine fans! Half the fun of a John Prine show was the stories he'd tell.
Sadly, he was the first celebrity that we lost to Covid, and he had been fighting cancer so bravely. RIP
I first saw John 50 years ago. No words can express his contribution to the universe!

Amazing you saw him so many times. A true fan. He definitely was a master storyteller.
John could have been a comedian! So much talent in one man.
Boy, I miss him. Covid sucks!
He wrote music that could make you laugh and make you cry. "Please Don't Bury Me", and "Sam Stone" are examples. I love almost everything he wrote.🤘😎❤
Sam Stone was the first song of his I heard and was immediately hooked. Dear Abby is one of his lighter ones with some giggles

Wow! What a line!

Incredible artist.
And that is an amazing gift! Beautiful!

Must mention this, there is a clip of a South African listening to the song "Chikitita" and he sang "take your teeth out"😂😂
This is such a great song. Thanks for your appreciation, and for the enchilada story!
Such a great song and a funny story! Thanks for watching
Condensed! The perfect word for it. No other writer could say as much in so few simple words as John. He is missed more than he could ever have known.
I so enjoyed your reaction. You couldn’t wipe that smile off your face. Congratulations and welcome to the club.
What an artist! Great song and performance. Awesome story! Thanks for watching.

Have you done Alice’s Resturant by Arlo Guthrie? It’s 18 mins long but it’s a Thanksgiving tradition and kind of a rite of passage.
I havent done any Arlo Guthrie yet. Definitely an artist that is on my list.
Got to that for Thanksgiving soon.
@@SaeedReacts. set aside a half hour, sit back and enjoy!
Saeed, I might recommend "Blue Umbrella" or "The Late John Garfield Blues" or "Grandpa Was A Carpenter" or "Billy the Bum"
I could go on and on....lol
Enjoyed that. So funny.
John PRINE? You’re getting into it now. Clay Pigeons, Sam Stone, Come On Home, there are so many more.
You might like one of his fun songs...Let's Talk Dirty in Hawaii.
Interesting title 😃. Thanks for the recommendation.
@@SaeedReacts. I second this. Great song!
You woud enjoy John's "It's a Big Old Goofy World".
Double entendre lies within. 😅
Love the stories to go with it 😂😂😂
What a storyteller!
@SaeedReacts. Oh yes

Great advice!
