This was terrific! Thanks a bunch. I'm on my 2nd XTerra (2015) and couldn't be happier -- most reliable vehicle I've ever had (which includes 3 XJs, a Discovery, an original MitsuMontero, a CJ5 (worst vehicle I ever owned) and 2 Toyota FJ40s). Some good ideas here -- congrats to Brandon.
Nice X I've got one too that I use off-road thing is a beast! Parts are available you just gotta know where to look.. nisstech, prg, z1 off-road ,rugged rocks, Xterra performance parts, all dogs, shadow wolf (sas kits) , driven desire ( v8 swap kits) are the main companies with many more since you can Titan swap for cheap long travel compared to say a Toyota.
Awesome build. I have an 2nd Gen with 50k on it and had been pulling my hair out on a winch mount without buying or fabbing a giant & heavy bumper. Gave me the idea and enough info to fab a stealth winch mount. Thank you Sir again for the vid. Edit, for looks like iPad, or YT didn’t finish my comment.
Liking the rear axle mod. Sounds very similar to what I did with my '13 Power Wagon. I moved my axle aft about 1.5" on the stock leaf springs so my 37" Toyos wouldn't tear into the front of the rear quarter panel opening. The benefit is stock spring rate with adequate clearance when under extreme articulation and torque.
great looking Xterra !! one day... one day.. hope my will be as badass as this one ! lol can I ask you what paint you use to paint your bumper ? I need to fresh up my faded sad plastics lol
About 2 inches, but if you get adjustable struts than it can be up to 4 inches. This takes you from just above 9 inches of ground clean at the front crossmember to 15 inches of clearance. This xterra owner has has a drop down bracket for the front and larger tires so he might be around 18-20 inches of ground clearance at the front.
Howdy, I just watched your "Colorado rant video" and I was wondering what you replaced it with after all? I'm on the fence between one and a Tacoma. Great videos! thanks man
Thank you Brandon for reminding folks of the shit head Calmini company! I'm at the same point! The only think else I can do now is SAS or Drop Bracket. Solid build brother!
"Calmini, if anyone knows the company is a little shady" LOL. They are a LOT shady. I have a 5 inch Calmini lift on my 2015 Pro-4X and, while the quality is actually quite good, the company is a total joke. Took 8 months to get all the parts (actually never even shipped the shackles) and their "customer service" guy Justin is a total tool. Anyway, go Nisstec, they are awesome. And btw, cool ride, I dig what you've done.

Love when people build rigs outside the norm.
Built, not bought, good stuff.

This is awesome! How much Lift does the Titan swap get in the front alone?

So I defiantly want do the titan mods, seems like most guys are doing it.
I wish I could do tundra stuff on my 4Runner.
depends on the Jeep, I wheel a Liberty and almost everything has to be modded from something else
Very nice!
Love this fuckin truck!
By the tank...beer tank or gas tank? 😛😛😛😛😛
Should have changed the radiator and put a transmission cooler on it
