@@13Alltoowell I think it’s a tad bit unfair to put more seasoned singers up against just debuted singers. Red velvet are amazing singers but they also have been singing for a long time. I would say in terms of 4th gen NMIXX is definitely all over the best group vocally. Idk where the video is but overall their members have a very good developed sense of singing skills. With Lily and Haewon being the strongest if I’m not mistaken.
Their vocals are so incredible. So much talent. But also this shows just how much work it takes to do live vocals and not just lip sync, they have to practice...a LOT. Sad that some other companies never let their idols even try to sing live. But this is another reason I LOVE these ladies. 💜❤️💙

Let's Be Honest, None of them really needs auto-tune! their vocals are no jokes but super good, they can sing Live if they want too.. many times Lily is the only one getting noticed when it comes to vocals, but every members sound so good and I think everyone in the group have their own special singing ability.
I love their live vocals so much!! They aren’t the best vocalist group for me, I would put them in 3rd place but they definitely are super good!!! It’s crazy how they got attention so fast after debut even without the best debut song. Just proves how successful they will be ❤️❤️

You might think different though, and it’s ok! If your wondering why Aespa is in front of Red Velvet - Wendy would be called better then NingNing, but I was basing it off the entire group which made me have Aespa first!

The vocalists are vocalists. The rappers are vocalists. The dancers are vocalists. Shoot at this point I'm pretty sure the stylists and make up artists are vocalists too.
Just coming back here to realize that Lily's voice is very similar to Ahyeon's voice. They both use a mask voice (if they call it that in your country too, but it's when you bring your voice closer to your face) That's why the two voices seem so powerful, they both also have great diagrammatic support
people are constantly criticizing 4th/5th gen groups for their vocals but they're all paying attention to the wrong groups. If people really cared about vocals and not popularity nmixx, mamamoo, kiof, red velvet, and dreamcatcher would be on top
