Beautiful plane, what made you choose a taildragger over a nose wheel? Personally I think they look fashionably dated to a bygone era. I understand they are more challenging to land but crikey it's a worthwhile compromise.
Hi, and thank you for your comment, in reply to your question, I chose it because I wanted a challenge.. (I certainly got one) and different... however sometimes, I think I should have gone for a tricycle undercarriage, when my takeoff and landings could be better. However, when I get it right, it feels like a massive achievement for me... each day is a school day with a taildragger, I assure you :-)
You really should be using your rudder with a crosswind like that or you will ground loop the airplane, watching you swerving all over the runway was terrible to watch
